My first impression of the Eggsquisite Cafe was awesome. The service was awesome and the food was great. the server was always checking on us and making sure we didn't have any problems with our food, which I didn't because it was really good. I had the steak and eggs and there ribeye was seasoned perfectly and was cooked to a medium rare that I was happy about. Wow!! Really enjoyed Eggsquisite Cafe' in Rockwall this morning! Wide variety on the menu-traditional brunch choices as well as lunch items as well. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and hot when delivered. tons of attentive, friendly waitstaff! Overheard at the table next to us- "Wow, this is amazing!" My husband and I were going on a breakfast date to The Fatted Calf, only to realized they closed their doors. My mom told us to try Eggsquisite as it was very popular in Rockwall. My mother was correct, when we arrived the line was out the door, we put our name on the list and waited for our table. We had to wait outside due to the fact that the restaurant is very small and there is not really a waiting area inside. We did not have to wait long, less than 10 minutes. Our waiter immediately took our order. We were seated right next to the open kitchen and I enjoyed the fact that we could watch the kitchen staff preparing the food while we ate. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, the eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy, tangy and delicious. I also ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice and it was also delicious. I was also delighted to see the manager walking around to each table greeting people and asking if they needed anything. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and experience. I did not give 5 stars because the restaurant is so small, I think they will need to expand due to the popularity and population growth in and around Rockwall. read more

We came for brunch and the wait time was not bad at all. The food was full of flavor and it came out quick and hot. Calley was our waitress and she was superb! Was brought here by family who love this place. I got the banana and Nutella crepes. They were absolutely delicious! Had been craving some cross for a while and this did not disappoint. Size portion was pretty big that I could've easily gotten a to go box, but they were so good I ate the entire plate. Other family members got waffles and omelets. Was told they too were delicious! We cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is always on point, the owners, servers and hosts are so friendly and make you feel like you are part of the family. Hubby and the kids enjoy coming here. We have tried so many things from the menu from the different kinds of Egg Benedict, to the skillets, to the omelettes and have never been disappointed. It's too bad because the food isn't bad but service is horrible... the whole restaurant smells like raw egg including the coffee mugs when you hold them up to drink your cold coffee... the A/C when it actually works blows freezing cold I'm your face when it's cold outside and you're rushed to order.... Eggsquisite is always great food at a reasonable price with excellent service, but occasionally one of the waitstaff there will just be incredible. Today is was Ramon. He had quite a few tables but that did not keep him from proving exceptional service while being personable and patient while watching his tables closely to ensure everyone got what they needed. This is our "go to" cafe! Great atmosphere, tasty food and the staff is always in a good mood.

This place has it together. The menu is extensive, the wait was short despite the place being busy. The hostesses were pleasant, gave me an accurate estimate of wait-time, and they use the Yelp app that lets you see your place in line. The waitress was super, and recommended we try the house hot-sauce on our Chorizo omelettes, which I will now recommend to you. The omelette was very good, the grits would have earned even my mothers approval, and the pancakes were excellent, especially with the house syrup. The two of us left pleasantly full for less than $30, not including the tip. I will definitely be back when next in Rockwall. read more

I give this place a 2 for the good service.I would have given it a 1 star but a 2 for good service. The food I ordered is definitely a 1 or better yet a zero!!!! I ordered a corn beef hash for breakfast thinking that it's not something canned!!!!!! It surprised me when I asked the waitress if it was canned and she was honest enough to say that it was. My tongue will never betray my taste either. I could have cooked one at home and saved my time and few bucks going to this place. Do not order corn beef hash here if you do not want canned food! I would recommend the restaurant to specify in the menu too so atleast people will know what they are getting to avoid teviews like this. read more
