Eggstablished is incredibly good! Their prices are great and affordable. The whole menu is very huge and they have a variety of food. I loved their Corned Beef Skillet, Omelets, and their coffee. Everything was good, delicious, and mind-blowing. They will serve your orders on time and they always got all of it right. Fresh and awesome food. They also have salads, egg meals, sandwiches, pancakes, and other breakfast offers. All of it has a fair price. You can literally order anything you want from the menu without breaking your pockets. You can definitely save a lot of money here compared to going to other places around the area. Best place to visit for breakfast and even for brunch. Eggstablished will never disappoint. Worth visiting spot! Their portions were huge and perfect. They have a big serving that is why one meal can avail for two people. Good old school diner. My first visit I enjoyed their thin (or you can have thick) french toast with blueberry compote. Cup of coffee just $1.40 and my bill was only $7.25 out the door. It appears just the regulars are here first thing on a Sunday. I have passed here hundreds of times and never noticed them. Forgot I had bookmarked them some time ago and glad I finally gave them a go. They even have a few counter seats and the decor transports you back to the 80's... not a bad thing and eating on a budget is always a plus. I went to Westmont Restaurant for the Monday special - Italian Spaghetti and Meatballs. Victor makes the best homemade meatballs in the area, and I should know because I am Italian!!! My lunch was cooked to perfection and so delicious, I went home and posted about it on Facebook. Stopped in here to pick up breakfast and we were not disappointed! Quick service, large portions. I had the breakfast croissant which has two tasty sausage patties and generous eggs and cheese. Fruit on the side was nice mix of pineapple, grapes, watermelon and cantaloupe. Family enjoyed their pancakes, breakfast burrito, omelette and hashbrowns as well. No complaints at all. My parents love this place and drag me here whenever I'm game! They do have good food for their prices. This is the epitome of a greasy spoon dive restaurant. The waitstaff is questionable and I pray they wash their hands in between whipping their nose and having their smokes ;-I I usually get the fried chicken, which my parents have renamed Colossal Chicken. The pieces are HUGE! I have enough for leftovers for 3 days or I just make chicken salad with the leftovers. You get a ton for your money here. Lots of blue hair here- a retirees dream! read more

A staple for Westmont! My wife and I have been going here for a couple years since we moved to Westmont. We live 2 blocks away and this has become our Sunday morning breakfast spot! We used to go down the street to the Basket but they went on TV and now you can't get a seat. Ruined the atmosphere. The Westmont Restaurant is fast, friendly and some of the best biscuits and gravy around. Yea it's small and old but that is what makes it our favorite place. This place is cool and crappy at the same time. The decor deinitely come from decades before. There are a bunch of booths and a little tiny diner counter. The food was typical diner food with around average prices. If you don't like to smell smoke while you eat, ....forget about it. The waitstaff smoke while not busy and since it's just one room, it's everywhere. they do have cocktails, but no formal bar. They have this one shelf tucked away in a corner where you can see all the bottles. Expect to have the local weirdos hanging out. NOTE!!!!!! They do not except credit cards. I liked this small family restaurant in downtown Westmont. this pace has a small town feel to it and is pretty popular with older people as it has been serving the same good quality food for a long time . I'm surprised to see the low ratings for this restaurant, which is mainly why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. The place looks a little dated, but it's clean and well maintained, so who cares? For Sunday breakfast I was very happy to walk right in and sit down at 10:30 - many places in the area have waits by that time. The crepes I ordered were delicious, and they have good coffee with frequent refills. A full breakfast and coffee for two for under $15 is hard to achieve these days, so I think we'll be back. read more

Went there for the first time since the shutdown, and only the third time since my last review. Yes, they repainted and did some much OVERDUE cleaning, but nothing else changed WHATSOEVER. Same ownership, same largely rude and indifferent staff; but they raised all the prices 50-75%!!! Now in fairness, their previous prices were below average. Of course, that was why I went there; certainly not for the ambience. But to pay $23 (including tax and tip; no beverages) instead of $14 (w/ tax, tip, and beverages) was a bit of a shock coming off the pandemic, and certainly no upgrade in the quality of the food, the preparation, or the waitstaff. Had breakfast here, was outstanding and service fantastic, told them I was in a hurry had a train to catch they said no problem and my meal for 4 was to out table within 12 minutes, very great service and breakfast was fantastic. There is nothing special about this restaurant. It is dated (60's/70's), beat up looking, especially the ceiling tiles, but overall, clean. It's been several years since I've been here last. It was acceptable then, as it is now. The restaurant is just one I don't go to very often - rarely, I guess. It is in the middle of downtown Westmont and my usual goal is to drive through downtown as quickly as the train tracks allow. Service at about 8:00 AM on a Monday morning was pretty good. It should be as there were less than a handful of customers, mostly regulars it would seem. The menu is small, which is fine by me and the prices, very reasonable. I ordered the French Toast wide a side order of links, coffee and OJ. The menu says "maple syrup" and what is brought to the table is Aunt Jemima Homestyle Syrup, or something like that. The word "maple" does not appear on the little bottle of Aunt J. I didn't get much of a reply when I mentioned that they should update their menus to not say "maple syrup." I'm sorry to all of the fans of this place but, i walked in with two of my friends. it was empty, and it was around 4:15. i ordered the "buffalo wings" they were supposedly great and filled with hotness, but they weren't. i think they were store bought. we all ordered milkshakes, 2 chocolate, 1 vanilla. the lady kept going to the bathroom, and i think she put feces in the chocolate milkshakes. and the vanilla one tasted like ranch and mayonnaise. when we were about to pay, the waitress goes to the kitchen, and i hear her say, "oh man, those fleas are back in the corner". don't EVER go here. the food isn't even good as what people say it is. trust me. i will never go there again. read more

We've been going to Westmont Restaurant on and off for about five years. For a long time the menu was small and prices VERY reasonable, then they beefed up the menu and up went the prices while they were at it. It's owned by an Albanian family who've had the building and property for over 30 years. Yes, one of the owners is the cook, and the other cook is the owner's nephew. The food is consistent, and when we go there, I choose the spaghetti or mostaccioli. I really enjoy the sauce, and ask for extra dish of sauce so I can take home the leftovers with plenty for leftovers. Wait staff is the one of the owner's wives (Shelly), and the other is a local woman (Paulette); she's been around for years and knows everyone. They do now take credit / debit cards, so don't worry if you only have a few bux in your wallet but have a credit / debit card with "some room on it." Also, don't sit on the 3rd seat from the door; it collapses under moderate weight! read more

My wife and I decided to try this Gem of a resturant almost 2 years ago and we never looked back! The decor takes me back to the sixty-seventies era and the wait staff are truly very friendly and effecient. Before I get into the food I must say that the prices are very,very reasonable and the food is always fresh and and very tasty with generous portions on everything. My very favorite time to stop in with my wife is on Fridays for their fish fry,all you can eat . Listen to this! You get soup or sald,I highly recommend the thick clam chowder which is the best I've ever had..then you choose betwee either beer batterd or fried perch or catfish,all you want, and believe it or not desert from a list of items such as ice cream,tapioca pudding etc, all for $7.50. We go there for other meals but we NEVER miss a Friday and havent since our first fish fry almost 2 years ago!
