This is a FOR PROFIT company that shows they are doing what they can to make as much profit as possible even at the expense of the residents. Even though we've never used it, I do NOT recommend any dependent care unless you want to pay the rent AND pay for private care. We have known families that have their loved one there and because of the lack of supervision they paid the rent and had to hire private care to come into the facility to ensure their safety and give them peace of mind. Good luck with billing. It takes weeks to get items corrected when THEY over bill (and for us it seems to happen every month). I was told they can't send you a rebill when the rent bill is incorrect. Yesterday we gave a check for rent and when asked for a receipt was told it will show up on the ledger (they don't give receipts). Then staff at the front desk proceeded to laugh at me, I don't think they realized I could hear them but quite rude. This place is not cheap (but most in our area aren't) you'd think their billing system would be able to at least give receipts. Rent goes up every year (except 1) and was not told this when she signed the lease. Apparently they were aware of this problem but rent still increases to the tune of 12% in 2022-2023. On the independent side they do have a number of activities and very friendly staff that seems to care for the residents and the director Erin does care about the residents.

The staff have been friendly, helpful, caring, and decent to her and to visiting family members. Mom chose this one herself after talking with many local people about managed care facilities in the area. The only reason they didn't get five stars is that sometimes they're short-staffed. On the other hand, the staff is attentive and caring, so even when they're occasionally short of help, they work hard and get the job done.
