My son got the mango boba tea, which also was good (he loved it). Also got the chicken dumplings, which were tasty but we also thought they were pretty expensive for what you get (6 small dumplings). I was visiting my brother, sister-in-law, and nieces, and I suggested we get Pho. My brother recommended this place so he called in the order and my husband and I and the nieces went to pick it up. Upon walking in, my nieces were greeted like old friends from the employee who likely was the owner. Apparently my brother and his family come here often. It was so sweet and endearing how she spoke to my nieces and asked about their family. She then offered them a free Boba tea for them to try. They were so excited! They are both dairy free and she accommodated and made them a special coconut milk one so they could try the tapioca bubbles. It really made their day and it was such a personal touch to the small business. My husband took the to go box to the car and somehow it leaked out some of the broth, and she was so quick to help get a new box and accommodate us. Overall, they are just friendly and professional and clean. Now onto the food! The portion size is so huge and we all had chicken pho (except the one niece who had chicken and rice and peanut sauce which looked delicious!). Everything is packaged so well and there was so much that I could not finish it. It tasted delicious and we were really grateful to support such a great small business. Worth a visit but don't go if you're in a hurry. I went in on a Tuesday evening and the service was extremely slow. I ordered very soon after sitting (I knew what I wanted before I walked in) but it took almost an hour for the food to come out of the kitchen. It wasn't busy in the restaurant, mostly empty tables. This restaurant is next to a Fred Meyer's. They are doing takeout only at this time. My husband and I got some takeout and we enjoy it right in our car! We call it car picnic :-) we got the spicy Kahri noodles with shrimp. This was pretty good. Not super spicy. The shrimp were plentiful and cooked perfectly. The curry flavor was mild as well. We got crispy eggrolls. Came with a nice sweet-and-sour sauce. Crispy on the outside tender on the inside. I wanted the steam dumplings. They had pork on the inside. Came with a nice dipping sauce. I thought the dumplings were a bit tough. The pork meat ball on the inside was hard. Next time I will definitely try the potstickers. The owners are trying very hard to maintain all the safety rules. I ordered the Duck Soup for $18 and 3 egg rolls for $7.. The soup was a big bowl of hot salt water and some noodles and Duck meat floating in it.. The egg rolls were not the typical 8 ounce egg rolls you get at Safeway but were the skinny little 2 ounce size... I'll never go back to this place.. We happened to stumble upon Eight Noodles because it was right by our Tesla charger on the way back from BC. I was craving some soup and Eight noodles photos looks delicious, despite some of comments on Yelp. We took a chance on it and ordered the beef curry (Laksa noodle) because it was the most different on the menu, and we don't usually get that from anywhere else. To my surprise, the soup was delicious. The beef was thin and was picking up the right amount of soup, the veggies complemented the dish well. We really enjoyed the soup and asked for some lime/lemon to add to the flavor. I don't know when I'll be back to Vancouver but Eight Noodles will be a place I'll visit again. read more

I was just here to charge my car after a long trip to Portland heading home to Seattle. Really just planned on using the restroom at FredMeyers then I spotted this place. A Vietnamese noodles place next to Fred Meyer? What would you expect? Probably another noodles place right? The pictures were enticing enough that made me check the menu. I've had dinner already but the place looked clean and had some people waiting so I thought I'd order some appetizers. Ordered fried tofu and shrimp roll. Holy molly! The tofu was heavenly crispy that you could hear the crack when you bite lol. I don't know what they put on the the dipping sauce but it was seasoned with the right portions. Just pleasantly good. The shrimp roll filled with crisp and fresh veggies were also tasty and filling. You didn't even need more food after that. The peanut sauce was one of the best I've had! Sorry no photos as it was late at night, I was excited to try it in the car while charging! I've driven my car all over the country (had driven Coast to Coast - Maryland to Seattle 6K miles OW and also Seattle to Vegas 4K miles RT) i've had stopped on a lot of Tesla Superchargers, there are only 2 places to eat that I can explicitly say I highly recommend not just to Tesla owners but to the whole world :) The pizza place in Boise SC and this place!
