I am a huge improv fan and do training sessions myself. So I was excited to sign my son up for…read morelessons with Kids N'Comedy. My son is naturally funny but has never been in a class environment like this. We did Kids on Broadway once but that was years ago. The class asked us to send a phone to record. However, a lot of the kids including my son ended up on the phone in social media, and someone near him was also playing video games. I wanted him to do this class to get out of home and not play games, but that is what he ended up doing here, unsupervised. There was also a bit of a preference for old-timers. Overall, he refused to go back and when I checked usage I saw that he was on his phone the entire time. I asked for a refund but their policy is no refunds. It is a LOT of money, and to pay so much upfront without a trial, and have unlimited phone usage was just not ok. I have done improv and there is absolutely no need for phones to even record. We wrote down key points or were given print-outs. I would not recommend their classes for kids. Some kids may have benefited, we didn't, and instead lost $$$, which is incredibly annoying.

I suspect some were there not realizing what they were to see. Regardless, he had a command of the crowd and amazed with his mind bending manipulation of his subjects which my wife and I became. He even managed to get our 8 year old son to participate on stage. It was a blast. I do improvisation as part of my living and Mr. Eaton showed masterful control in keeping an audience of all ages and backgrounds immersed in his show. By the end, he had converted his audience from shy and quiet bystanders into willing participants. No hypnosis, no magic, pure entertainment! Go see this show! Any age, any background, any time.

I was selected as a volunteer for the first piece of mentalism, which was an impressive demonstration of skill. Throughout the show, he incorporated many volunteers of all ages, but was never pushy about it. He seemed to have a knack for finding just the right volunteer to fit each part of the show, so no one was reluctant or embarrassed. Some mentalism shows are dry, or dark, or underwhelming. This show was the opposite -- funny, engaging, and impressive. It's a solid value for 90 minutes of entertainment for adults or kids.

It was a small stage but it didn't hinder the show performance we received. They engaged the audience and kept us laughing throughout the night. Pianist was on point! No profanity, nothing that's not rated G allowed, from performers or audience members. They remind you several times from beginning to end. Actually they threaten to put a paper bag over your head for the remainder of the show if anyone says or does anything slightly indecent. I feel like this is extremely unnecessary and boring. Tracy was a rum drink and you tasted the alcohol so no complaints. *** If you check in on Yelp you get a free house shot which was vodka peach schnapps and some juice, also not bad. Ticket prices were reasonable and they have an $18 drink minimum. All drinks are $16 and under so you need to buy at least two. The show itself was very good and the headliner hung out after so we had a photo opportunity and a nice chat. I would definitely go back to see another comedian.

I was in awe literally the whole time with my jaw dropping to the floor on many occasions! Not only did Steve have great charisma and story telling skills, he also showcased a plethora of insane tricks that had the whole crowd including myself, in a state of shock. Does Anything go Right???…read more Last month bestie and I were on a Broadway/Off-Broadway marathon and as result we landed right in the middle of The Play That Goes Wrong. We grabbed dinner and headed to New World Stages for the show. Little did we know the show starts before curtain call with a little audience interaction and participation. The start was just the beginning, of everything literally going wrong in this play. To be honest, we did no prior research / Googling and after the show I realized this play has been around for some time. However, we honestly had no idea what to expect. We quickly realized this is a play of mishaps and slapstick comedy. I can sometimes appreciate being surprised and I'm glad I didn't have any prior knowledge from reading reviews. This allowed me to go with the flow and enjoy the show for the calamity it was. Nonetheless I can understand, those who do not necessarily enjoy this genre of entertainment. Both bestie and I laughed and didn't take the production to seriously and as a result we enjoyed another play in the month of all things Sho-eBruaury!! Just A Note: I recommend you wait to eat after the show if you want to fit in your seat.... EXTRA EXTRA Snug is the theme with the seating.
