During measurements, he was direct about what he needed to get while also being respectful and mindful of boundaries. The suit arrived, was tweaked, and was finished with plenty of time before my wedding. Honestly, it became one of the wedding to-do list items that I worried the LEAST about. Selections were mainly handbags and wallets but that's enough for me! The two staff members were welcoming in smiles and great with answering any questions. Had an eye on a small bag but had to keep watch on the clock, and run to my gate to catch my flight. Hope to return to pick up that bag. Nice little spot, will return on my next visit to SeaTac!

Despite the triviality of my ask - replacing two buttons on a coat and one on a blazer - everything was sent off and returned in short order with the fabric brushed and cleaned, 'gratis'. Yelp? My first visit was simply a walk-in. I was in downtown Seatle, where I was visiting and interviewing for work. Walking by the shop as I had some time to sight see and went to the Pike Market that day. I stopped in because the window manequins looked cool. I had to check it out. I gained a little weight over the Spring so I was looking for a few good pieces to update my wardrobe. JR was there. Very dapper guy. He was welcoming and offered a cup of coffee from his espresso maker in the back. We chatted about silhouettes, as he tried to see what I might really be interested in. He knew all the right questions to help me help myself. I made an appointment for later that week to design a suit for a big date I had scheduled for late Summer at Maryhill in Goldendale, my wine pickup party. I like to dress up for these things. Feels good to look good! I envied JR; he gets to dress up everyday for work. I work from home, so jeans and tee shirts are my regular attire. The appointment lasted about 1/2 an hour. JR showed me fabric books to pick the color and feel for my 2 piece suit. I found a nice wool, blue square pattern. The texture was the best part, kind of an open weave. Perfect for a late summer date! I picked up a new wallet and a pink shirt which I took home that day. Just as expected, JR called about 2 months later in August for me to test fit the new suit. It was perfect of course! I was stoked! Date at Maryhill was great too! Amazing wines, good food. Fabulous view. The drive was pleasant. My date loved it as well. To my surprise, I got jeans and sweater for my birthday which my date sourced at Harris & Tailor. They are Billy Reid jeans and the sweater is a Jach's NY Cardigan. Perfect for my work from home daily rotation! Highly recommend this cool clothing store for custom suit, or best quality jeans and accessories that you can find in Seattle!

I called in on a saturday morning, and got a quote from Mimet over the phone. I needed to have a suit jacket taken in a bit, and the rate he quoted me was more than reasonable. I stopped in and knew instantly that I was in the realm of a seasoned pro. As mentioned by one of the other reviewers, not only do you get your clothing professionally fitted when you come in here, but you also get a proper schooling on some of the finer points of men's furnishings and fittings. The tailor here is extremely personable and friendly. He did a wonderful job, and I am eager to recommend him/them here on the pages of Yelp. Excellent work!
