We usually go to the Einstein's in Los Altos/LB but wanted to check out this "new kid on the block" in Cypress. It moved into the Five Guy's former space located in the Target shopping center. The layout is open as opposed to cozy with a patio. There's ample parking especially since the longtime Carl's Jr. (near Einstein's) closed up recently. My Garden Bagel had avocado that could have used a tad more ripening, egg & tomato all on an Everything Bagel (toasted). My BF went with his usual Farmhouse Bagel sandwich. Both were good. So was the coffee. The serve-yourself coffee dispensers are lined up along a counter. Seating offers several tables along with a long table & some high-tops. Decided to stop by to try and got the farmhouse egg sandwich. It sounded so good! Eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, hash brown.. what more could you want for breakfast? It took about 20 minutes for the sandwich to come out. Upon receiving, I was a bit disappointed. I thought there would be more filling. I love Einstein bagels but this is by far the worst location I have ever been too. I waited 10 minutes to order and another 20 for my bagels. While I was waiting the prep line was so out of order and everyone after me was served first. People were bringing back stuff that wasn't made right and there wasn't even any hot coffee other than decaf. It was actually strange because half of the staff was standing around while the other half looked like they were drowning. I ordered two bagels with cream cheese, avocado and onion. By the time my order was done I ran out of there because I was running late for an appointment. Unfortunately, both bagels were horrible :/ neither bagels were toasted, and there was hardly any cream cheese. My boyfriend called and requested a refund. He was told we needed to bring the bagels back and they close at two. Needless to say, I wasn't going to be home by 2 and I ate the bagel since I was starving (and pregnant) and paid I think around 6-7$ for each of them. Whats up Einstein. They are the newest kid on the block where Cypress meets Stanton in the old Five Guys. Everything is crisp and clean. Most importantly fully staffed and ready to help you. Their menu offers about 20 different bagels, 5 spreads, muffins, cookies and sammies. Wash it down with a Mocktail, coffee, fresh juice. etc. My toasted garlc bagel with garden veggie cream cheese was yummy. I look forward to spending a lot of money here. I was so excited when this bagel shop opened, but it's such a hit and miss every time. 1) The Vanilla Cold Brew or any flavor cold brew is always way to syrupy. They put way too many pumps of syrup. I wish you could customize in the app. I've ordered it a few times hoping it was maybe the person making it, but nope. It's gross every time. 2) Wait Time: The wait time when you order ahead is always longer than expected. There seem to only be 2 people working the front in the morning during morning rush hour. They need more staff. 3) Today, 5/7/26, my order ahead bagel wasn't ready and then once I got to work, it was the wrong order. See photos. As I was leaving the bagel shop, another lady had just parked and was walking back inside with a box of bagels, I'm assuming her order was messed up too. We'd been to the Huntington Beach location and it was great! Unfortunately the one on Katella was lacking. I ordered a ham,egg and cheddar on asiago, my wife had the brisket on an everything bagel. By the time we got our food, mine was stone cold, so much so that the bagel started getting hard. Her's was tasty and held the heat a little better than mine so that was a plus. Maybe if they had a little more sense of urgency. I know it's just a bagel place but the one in Huntington Beach had much better timing and that made the whole experience that much better. I will say the bagels are well put together but when you get them cold and 10 to 12 minutes after your coffee it's kind of a let down. Better luck next time! Peace out... read more

Decided to stop by this newer Einstein on my way home today and was extremely disappointed to say the least. We usually go to the one by the traffic circle, however decided to give this one a try. Definitely won't be returning. First my rewards weren't applied for my bagel, upon refund we received the new $1.99 coffee. We asked for caramel and asked the employee if that's what we got and he said yes. Upon tasting it, it tasted like chocolate milk with a hint of caramel. Definitely not worth buying at all. I'd rather get a $1 coffee from McDonald's that actually taste like coffee and not like syrup and chemicals. The "bagels" were thin as a board and had no fullness about it. I went to this new Epstein's bagels with my dad. I've had their bagels many many years ago in Huntington Beach. I thought we'd try it. Very spacious place. Nice location but I go inside and stand at the counter and no one acknowledges me. Awkward. Finally the guy working there decided to notice me. I place my order for a dozen bagels and some sandwiches. The guy sets my dozen down and a girl comes up and starts removing all my bagels to cut them all in half for me. Huh okay. Weird. The guy starts making my sandwiches and staff members are leaving he gives each staff member knuckles with his hands gloves on and continues to make my sandwiches. Isn't that ruining the purpose of wearing gloves to make food if you gonna high five every staff member that's leaving. Okay next my sandwiches are missing items like the lettuce is not there. I asked for no tomato and received extra tomato. The bacon is an undercooked maybe it's fake bacon cuz it looked raw to put it on someone's sandwich. I asked for my avocado on the side and was charged $1.49 for it when it comes on my sandwich free.
