Truthfully they are lucky to get one star!! I went in for breakfast today and was greeted with HORRIBLE customer service the girl at the register seemed annoyed with my questions!! I ordered and got down to the register and asked another girl about how long? Because I had to be at work in a few minutes she looked at me as if I asked a TABOO question! I then asked if the had any sauce to go with what I ordered and she said no and walked away!! I will NEVER be going here again! I LOVE Einstein! But this location is DISGUSTING. Dont look at the floor! There's so much food everywhere, both times I went. Especially under the drink counter, so much dust and food its nasty. Dont look at your basket under the paper! They dont clean them, there was old crusty cream cheese on my kid's basket. Dont look at the benches. food food food Dont look at the counters behind the register, they look worse than my kitchen after preparing a Thanksgiving meal. There is nothing I can say t hasn't been said. I've noticed the terrible format they try to run forever. You stand in one line to order, then stand in another to pay. Ridiculous. They could make everything go twice as fast if they would just order and pay from 2 lines. MORONS. That's apparently an Einstein thing as I've seen the same format at other locations. I come in on the weekends. I would ask for the manager to give them my unsolicited opinion, but I don't want to take them away from their busy job of doing nothing and being completely inefficient. I'll just say a couple caveats: (a) I normally love Einstein's; and (b) I rarely give 1-Star reviews. Looking for a quick breakfast in the area I was stoked to find an Einstein's close by. I found it via Yelp and was puzzled by the low rating. I mean, really, I know it is a chain so achieving 5-Stars would be ridiculous...one would expect 3-4 Stars...I mean...it's a chain. I still went. It was a debacle. Service really bad. Hardly any bagels at 11 am....like a very scant selection. The process for ordering and paying was cumbersome...at best. This all could be forgiven if the grub was to be as expected. It was not. The bagels tasted, and felt, as if they were steamed instead toasted. The bagel was floppy. A floppy bagel. I thought it theoretically impossible. The egg was about as unappetizing you can get. At least the bacon was good...but, really, it's fucking bacon. Oh, and the two vegetarians who ordered their breakfasts found bacon on both of theirs as well. They didn't order anything with bacon. I guess when everything else sucks as bad as it does why not hand out bacon to everyone? Needless to say the bagels were returned and the counter rep was dismissive as if it was my friends' fault for ordering something with bacon...even though they've been vegetarians for years. Great Bagels!! Much, much better coffee since the merger with Caribou Coffee. When you come into an Einstein Brothers' Bagels, don't expect an authentic New York Jewish bakery experience. If you want that, you'll be disappointed. The Lox is decent. But you must have garlic cream cheese, capers and, most importantly, smoked Swiss cheese. I'm an east coast girl, and these aren't really bagels. BUT, since I live here and don't plan on moving back east again soon, I will tell you they are the best here. My biggest frustration with E.B.B. is their lack of stock. I cannot tell you how many times I've walked in and they literally have nothing in the baskets. Due to this issue, I've learned a trick...ready? I CALL AND ORDER THEM AHEAD OF TIME! This way I can wander in, right to the front and ask for my order. No waiting in line just to find out that what I want isn't there or has been sold to the person in front of me! Another tip, make sure if you say you're going to be there by 10 am, that you are there no later than 10:15 or they will put your bagels back. With all of this being said, I still like E.B.B. very much as their bagels are yummy. read more

There is no sense of urgency from the employees. 10 minutes wait in a not so long line, & another 10 for my bagel. In that 20 minutes I saw 2 customers leave rather than continue waiting. Took more than 20 minutes to get my breakfast sandwiches. When I finally got out of the place with my order, I found that one item was missing, so I had to go back to get the missing bagel. The breakfast bagels were not as good as before, either. I'm not probably returning. I like Einstein Bros., and have been thrilled to have a location near us at Flower Mound. Service has always been fair to good, in my experience- not slow, as seems to be the normal rating here at yelp. Einstein serves traditional chewy and slightly sweet bagels in many varieties, like cranberry, 6-cheese and "everything", just to name a few. Any time I can walk in to a cozy, clean establishment and order a bagel with cream cheese (schmear, they call it), a bagel sandwich, soup or a salad- that's a good deal. Einstein Bros. Bagels offers "healthy" alternatives in addition to the typical layout, and of course you can stop in for a "bucket" on your way to work with the team- or the weekend brunch. *Note that the shop closes by 5 pm (part of the four-star rating, because otherwise I'm very pleased with them next door), and supplies dwindle just before this time. Einstein makes for great dinner, but you must plan to arrive on time and expect to be adaptable. read more

This place seems to get pretty dinged on Yelp. My experience was perfectly fine, in fact, it was good. The place was clean. The staff was friendly. The order one place and pay at another is admittedly odd. It was not annoying for me. I grabbed several kinds of bagels and some cream cheese to go. The cream cheese was plain and honey-almond. I also got a house blend coffee. The coffee was hot and tasted delicious. The bagels were good too. I love bagels and these are good. I will be back. read more

This was a bad day for Einsteins. Ordered a toasted bagel Schmeer and coffee through their website for pick up. No coffee cup, the bagel was not toasted, and they were re-brewing my preferred coffee. This location is dirty. When the leaves blow in, they collect under the storag racks. There is visible dirt and dust on the floors. The counters for condiments is sticky and messy. This morning there were 8 people in front of me waiting on line, with only 2 workers behind the register. After a long wait, they closed the store because their system was down. Enough is enough. I'm fed up with this location. They are giving Einstein's a bad rep. They have LOUSY if not nonexistent management. The SLOWEST service of almost any place I've every been. The only thing I can compare it to is the US Post Office. And their food quality is inconsistent. They know their Sat. and Sun. mornings are crazy busy, so why is there always a 20+ minute wait to even order. The person you order from never seems to know the computer system either. And now, the food is pathetic. I ordered a Asparagus, Mushroom and Swiss egg white sandwich and it came out with 5 pieces of asparagus and about the same amount of mushrooms. Less than 1/4 of my sandwich had the toppings on it. Really? I paid over $6 for that? I complained to the person serving the food and she walked away. Also, why is a side of shmear $1.50 and a tub $2? That is BS. We love the jalapeno salsa shmear and like to get a little extra on our sandwich. But paying $1.50 for a little dob is ridiculous and insulting. Sell the damn stuff in a tub so I can just buy that from now on. If you know anything about Flower Mound there is a serious lack of decent restaurants, so I was so excited when Einsteins arrived. Now I'm at the point where I think I will start driving 20 minutes to Southlake to go to their Einstein's. read more

The bagels are usually delicious. the service is the worst I have seen. You always have long lines, and they usually seem disorganized. Poor system for getting in one line to place order with one person. usually that same person fills your order (unless it is a sandwich or coffee). The next person is standing there waiting to order (with a line out the door of people doing the same). then you go wait in another line to wait to pay. heaven forbid you have a hot sandwich or a coffee drink, as you will wait off at the side another 10 minutes or so. Total time is usually 20-30 minutes to get a dozen bagels, if it is a busy time. During their busy times, I would NEVER order a coffee drink or a sandwich. Moss would grow under your feet waiting. I see people walking out in disgust after waiting 20 minutes, becasue they can see it's going to be another 10-20 minutes to get their order. Additionally, the plain bagels are frequently "well done". That means burned. I took home a dozen plain bagels, and most were inedible. We tossed them out. I should have saved them. The very next day I went in and spoke to the general manager about it. She didn't do anything. nothing. Not even an extra punch in my punch card. sheesh. Another time, we ordered 8 dozen for breakfast at work. I was pleased they had them all ready and boxed and waiting for me when I was there at 8 am. We get them to work, and they are ice cold. Obviously made the day before and refrigerated overnight. We had no way to "warm" 100 bagels, so we tried to eat them as is. Horrible product when cold, and especially since these couldn't have been fresh. read more

I came in and ordered a two egg and bacon bagel with no cheese.(I even confirmed the no cheese) my bagel came out and it had cheese on it, no big deal they can just remake it right? wrong.... 10 minutes pass and I see the manager goofing around with the staff when I finally ask if my bagel was being remade, it was not.... so the manager is literally standing right in front of me when I ask to speak to him 5 times! he ignored each request and it took 3 employees to get him to talk to me. Worst Einstein Bagel food ever! After the longest wait. This was at 2:00 pm. No line; maybe 3 people in the store. In addition to the shift manager having ADD and not being able to correctly capture a two person order. I normally love the eggwhite turkey breakfast bagel. This one stunk. Egg was cooked; turkey sausage was cooked separately; thrown on a cold bagel with cold cheese. It is 2 blocks to our house; the whole sandwich was ice cold in 2 blocks. My husband ordered the Club Mex. Specifically requested toasted. Same as with the breakfast bagel sandwich. Totally cold; nothing warmed, nothing melted. The order wasn't complicated. In addition to the above, we ordered an unto asted oatmeal bagel with light Strawberry shmear, a medium vanilla latte (got a regular because that was what the order taker entered). Had to go back and ask for the side dish for the Club Mex sandwich. It will be a long time before I go back. read more

I love Einstein Brothers but this location is one of the worst I've been to. They don't pay attention and they're consistently understaffed so the wait times are idiotic. This morning was a great example. Got there at 7:30. There were 8 people in line, 6+ people waiting for their orders and TWO people behind the counter. One guy was trying to take orders, run the cash register, make eggs and take orders to tables while the woman behind the counter was taking her sweet time making the orders. Everyone in line was looking at each other like "what the hell is going on here?" This is a morning business! Why don't you have the staff to accommodate the traffic you KNOW you're going to get?! I go to Einstein's on the regular, but I'd never been to this location til today. I like their staff- just the right amount of genuine friendliness. It's very clean inside, has good food, and the layout of the store is great. It doesn't feel as crowded as the Coppell location. I notice that a majority of these poor reviews were done over a year ago. We moved to Flower Mound in August of 2012 and have been regulars of this particular Einsteins ever since. I have been to numerous locations of Einsteins and actually can say I have always had a positive experience at this one. The kids and I go every Tuesday. The service is always great. I'm not one to ask for the manager to compliment the staff, but I have done so here - twice. Once because one of the male staffers was so awesome to my kids (always a way to win points with me) and even threw in a free cookie for them to share. Another time because one of the female employees went above and beyond to get an order of "poppers" made when they had already sold out for the day (again, to make my kids smile - more points). Love the manager, Mr. Massengill, love the staff, love the bagels. We are fans. read more

My first visit to this location was on Sunday June 17th at around 10am. I had ordered 3 different types of sandwiches me and my coworkers had picked online. Cashiers were polite and took my order but seemed busy. After receiving my order I quickly left for work. Upon arriving to work I noticed I had given 3 plain ham and cheese and egg sandwiches. I called later in the day after work to speak with a manger and a male manager apologized and was polite and took down my information and said I could come in next time and receive the correct order. Upon my next visit 6 days later after waiting in like for 20 minutes and reordering the first order. I asked the cashier about my comp and she went to grab a manager. That's where we were met with the extremely rude and dismissive manager named Sheryl or sherry or something I can't remember I just remember her nasty attitude. She asked if I had a reference number and I politely replied a was not given one but they had taken down my name. Without even blinking she quickly snapped she had memorized the list and knew my name wasn't on it and offers me 40% off I tried to explain about the manager I spoke to and before I could finish my sentence she rudely interrupted and made it clear I was not going to be helped so I said whatever and decided just to contact corporate. She snatched my card from me ran it took the receipt and walked off. I had to ask the other cashier for a copy. read more
