I love a fresh hot bagel so my husband and I decided to stop at Einsteins. I normally am a simple girl with bagels, a plain bagel with cream cheese. All-nighter bagel- chipotle aioli with bacon egg and cheese on a hashbrown cheese bagel. It was good but I think the chipotle was a lot and overwhelmed it. My husband liked it a lot. Maple house bagel- the bagel itself was delicious, I could eat that by itself but the sausage with it was kind of out of place. Vanilla and chocolate cold brew- sweet but delicious. The chocolate one was my fav but the nice lady who made put a ton of chocolate syrup at the bottom so I didn't stir it The place itself was clean and everything was organized. I came here my first time for a food delivery service and it was an unbelievably terrible experience. The sit-in customers looked frustrated, my wait time was 20 mins past the expected wait time with no updates, you could definitely tell they gave all the priority to the drive thru customers. Awful experience! 6 plain beagles, no cut. Almost 10 minutes wait. 1 guest beside me in the store. 7 people working. The cashier after taking my payment was walking up and down watching. The 3 prepliner were actually working. 2 girls at the drive through windows, 1 was working the other chatting. After 5 minutes I perplexed ask about my 6 plain beagles to be just bagged. She replay :" there are other orders in front of you". Right, instead of being in front of the cashier waiting for guests to arrive, take a bag and pick my 6 beagles and let me leave. She instead, preferred to keep looking at me for another 4 minutes while no people even walked in, and in the mean time the 2 girls at the window now were just talking to each other. I've been here a few times, it was insanely busy first couple of weeks but isn't bad in the morning rush now. I've had their sesame bagel with egg and cheese which was quite tasty and good flavors. I usually come in and buy bagels. Their bagels are pretty good, I'm not aware of any place in Debton that better bagels. They have a good selection regular, honey whole wheat, green chili, jalapeño cheese, blueberry etc. Staff has always been pleasant and fast, it's always been clean and the bagels have been consistently good. read more

So disappointed. Went through the drive thru, ordered the Farmhouse egg sandwich and asked if I could substitute the bacon for avocado. She said "absolutely". When I realized they charged me extra for it, I told them I was sorry I didn't ask about the price before, but I assumed there wouldn't be an up charge since it was a substitute. The girl just said "no, we have to charge for it", I said I understood now, but I wish I was informed because I would have just left the bacon on for the same price. She said she could see if she could grab me a side of bacon if I wanted, so I said ok. She came back, gave me a bag with two cold pieces of bacon and said " Just so you know, we will have to charge for added avocado next time", I told her I know now and I DID already pay for it. To have been met with attitude and no apology after I apologized for the miscommunication was upsetting. I've been here multiple times and they have a good selection of fresh bagels, friendly service and the inside appears clean. But I have had to ask them to toast my bagel extra long just to have it toasted properly. I DO NOT recommend the avocado toast. The small smear of slightly mashed, barely ripe avocado came on a chewy ( again not toasted enough) bagel that was COVERED in the heavy spice seasoning. It was like ordering seasoning spices with a little avocado. I took a bite and trashed it. I don't think the staff has been properly trained on some of the menu items. Very hit and miss service on this recently opened business. Coffee and drinks are the worst offenders - they are either really good or burnt coffee/wrong drinks. The speciality bagels are usually the most reliable for quality and consistency but surprisingly ordering a bagel and schmear is iffy on toasting. I had one where part of the bagel was burned but the other half was not toasted at all. Sometimes you cannot even tell it was toasted. Also the amount of schmear varies from perfect to overwhelming amount. Not sure if it is trainees needing more oversight or what but it makes it hard to give higher stars read more

This is the worst einsteins I've ever been to, probably the worst franchisee out of every franchise I've ever been to. EVERY order is completely messed up. Every time I order a bagel toasted it's never toasted, so I specify extra extra toasted and it's still completely untoasted. They forget ingredients constantly, like on a bacon egg and cheese bagel I got last week there was no bacon and no cheese. A dry untoasted bagel with just a sliver of egg. PATHETIC. Everyone working the line at this location should be embarrassed. The manager is also a pig and when you try to give some constructive criticism he scoffs and acts too good for you. If I was the founder of Einsteins not only would I shut down this location but I'd do everything in my power to make sure everyone there never works in food again. abhorrent customer service, horrible attention to detail and honestly just plain laziness. it's not that hard to toast a god damn bagel and I've eaten at this location probably 100x since they opened because I love bagels and there's none anywhere near me besides this, and I'd say about 95 or more of my orders have had a problem. The bagel and coffee were delicious. Service was slow but they apologized and were busy so I'm not complaining. My issue is the parking. If you are lucky enough to find a spot (there aren't many), you can't get out because cars in the drive-thru block your vehicle. It was so annoying that it will probably affect my return. read more
