Help! MANAGER NEEDED at our neighborhood Einstein's!! Since Manager Jo left, this Einstein's Bagels is falling apart! And according to the few employees, it's all corporate's fault!! Really?!?! I find that hard to believe. We find many dirty tables, coffee bar poorly stocked, bakery shelves mostly empty, milk cabinet partially stocked. Crumbs all over the place, like all over back inside the bagel cabinet, on top of the counters, and on the floors. No ice, few napkins, dirty floors, filthy tables, and no coffee cakes because "corporate won't supply this location with the papers. No Holiday gift card because "corporate" doesn't tell them or send them to this location. "We're out" is the most common phrase here.My final word, where did Manager Jo go, who ran this location like well-oiled machine!! Twenty-three days later and I decided to see if there are any improvements since I last wrote the above review. This place continues to go downhill. Come on, you guys! Get it together!! Restock supplies and fill the bagel shelves, clean the floors, counters, and tables. Customers continue to go someplace else to eat. read more

Horrible service! First, walking in there I went through the door, a lady went in first, but the door shut so hard and fast it slammed into the back of my right heel. I get my latte, try to find a straw, couldn't so then I go ask for one. The kid tells me they're out. The simplest piece of inventory and you're out?? That's when a GOOD manager steps in and goes to Costco and gets some!! So sick of this place! They skimp on the cream cheese, hardly give you any. And then want to change you like $1.50 for extra. I am very disappointed and grossed out. To begin, while ordering our food, the lady taking the order was picking things out of the bottom of her shoes before she proceeded to go make our coffee without gloves. We ordered cold brews and they put hot coffee in a cup with vanilla syrup and ice, which was warm and definitely not what we ordered. The bathroom was swarming with little flies, which were also in the dining area while eating. The dinning area was very dirty, overfilling trash, dirty tables, no ice in the machine, the coffee bar was a mess and nothing was filled... cream, coffee, etc. The employees were on their phones and drinking their own personal drinks while walking about the dining area. read more

My boyfriend surprised me with the saddest looking bagels from one of my favortie places. I would go to Einstein's to get the bagels remade or his money back but I'm working. We walked up and saw how dirty it was outside, then went inside and noticed the umbrellas for the patio still laying on the floor....thought went through my mind "employees don't have passion". WORST EINSTEIN EXPERIENCE EVER! Walked in and there were 3 people behind the counter. I was 2nd in line and ordered. No problem. The wait showed all the warts. There was a ton of dust on the Einstein sign to the right as you walk in. The bagels looked like buns and not bagels (see pic, they did taste good tho). I asked for the bagel/buns to be cut and they were not. The wait was long, the couple in front of me had to ask for their order. A line grew out the door and two of the counter people turned their backs to the crowd and made no acknowledgement of the waiting customers. There was no organization or customer service. When making coffee orders, they shouted "who ordered the _____? Hot or cold?" when that was asked when the order was taken. I won't go back again. This is a sad shell of what other locations offer. Usually do not go to Einsteins but I needed a new breakfast kinda place because a place i like closed down. Opens at 530 i was there at 545. 5 employees in the shop that i could see. I ordered a Breakfast Bagel and a coffee. The Bagel was barely toasted and not even warm. I dont think the previous night close up crew did their job because the booths still had pieces of paper and crumbs on most of the booths and one of the tables had outright trash underneath it. Total floor had pieces of stuff and crumbs and needed to be swept----all this did not happen in the first 15 min of being open. good luck you need it read more

Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. There service is awful every time we walk in the employees are on there phones. It's like it pains them to get up and take an order. The atmosphere is dirty and frankly nasty looking. I've given this place a second try assuming maybe it was just me but no. Overall horrible experience stopped by during lunch and ordered the "tasty turkey" the young man who was working didn't give me a bag. Just wrapped the sand-which and set it down on the counter. My sandwich had rotten tomatoes and lettuce did not have cucumbers(which are included). Please don't go here you are waisting your time, money and will probably end up sick. read more

They said I didn't qualify to use the coupon. Just ordered 4 bagels, sliced and toasted with schmeer. After 30 minutes. I get 4 bagels only. I complain. The guy tells me I can have a tub of schmeer. They have no plain left. I have to wait another 10 minutes for him to get it from the back. While waiting I downloaded the app. It of course shows I have the 6 bagels with schmeer coupon. Service was adequate and food typical of an Einstein Brothers. The reason the rating is so low is due to the complete filth of the store. The ceiling is beyond gross and had dirt hanging down from it in little stalagtites. The floor looks like it hadn't been swept in days. Literally in violations of health codes. I've been to this location 3-4 times and this location is awful. I keep thinking it was just a bad day the day I went but it's all the time! I went in on a Sunday morning and the employees were wearing pajama pants! Not leggings or some kind of nice looking athletic pants they were PAJAMA pants with Cookie Monster on them, and they were dragging on the floor of the kitchen. I saw the amount of times gloves were changed between food being made, the girl making my sandwich had touched several other items before making my sandwich and didn't change her gloves. This is a major health violation. My sandwich wrapper was so greasy and covered in oils. This goes to show how dirty the perp line is and the gloves! The girl taking my order didn't seem too eager to take my order, I ordered a bagel sandwich and I wasn't even offered a side it came with but I just got my sandwich and left. I didn't bother asking for my side or a drink. I just wanted to get out of there. Before I left I went to the drink station to grab some napkins and it was so bad, spilled dried coffee everywhere, napkins were empty, and it looked like it hadn't been wiped down since the doors opened. The place absolutely filthy! The floors were so dirty, tables were dirty, the back/kitchen was so gross. There were bagels on the floor and other trash and I get it, things happen and messes are made when you're working with food but the floors, the prep line and drink station were awful! There are signs all over the "restaurant" hand written about broken equipment and out of order soft drinks because of no carbonation. Again, I understand things happen but this is not professional, and it's safe to say I will no longer be returning to this location. Too bad this isn't a bar, this would need Bar Rescue. read more

I travel regularly for work and frequently stop at an Einstein for breakfast. Went in at 9am and they were out of all bagels other than garlic and wheat. How does a bagel place run out of bagels before 9 am on Christmas Eve. Ordered at the counter and waited 6-8 minutes for our order. While waiting, we couldn't find a clean table and had to wipe it ourselves. The area around the creamer and lids was messy and gross. Their was a pile of coffee grounds on the floor in front of the coffee maker. (Which means an employee made the mess, since they make the coffee). None of the store employees bothered to pick it up. A gentleman came in (owner,GM?) and picked half of it up with a napkin, but left most of the grounds on the floor and walked away. We were there for about half an hour and no one cleaned a table, the counter area or the floor while we were there. Problem was, many people also wiped their own tables with a dry napkin, instead of a clean wiping cloth. Dirtiest restaurant that I think I have ever been in. Will probably never visit this location again. Which is a bummer because I like their food. read more

I've been coming to Einstein's since it came to Arizona, and I feel like you guys have lost your way. You used to keep the tables really clean and you had a nice patio at most of your Einstein's. Every single table today was dirty and especially the outside tables just look nasty. We love your food, but I reduce the stars because of atmosphere. And when you were thinking about eating breakfast or lunch the last thing you want to do is be around a bunch of dirty tables. I come here every Monday for the 13 bagels for $7 special. I think they also offer a special if you want two cream cheese tubs and bagels $12. You can have them machine sliced at no additional charge too. They offer a good selection of bagel sandwiches and beverages. The manager has always been very professional and friendly, he's always there. I have seen different employees every time I visit, but they are friendly. I can get in and out quickly, unless I get stuck behind an indecisive moron who's oblivious that there are other patrons behind them waiting to get bagels too. If you come later like around lunch or afternoon, there will be less selection. It happens sometimes, not really the end of the world. Parking is not too bad, it's a busy parking lot and people drive like jerks. After I drive around all day with fresh bagels in my car, my car smells like delicious fresh bagels too. read more

When homeless people are allowed to enter the establishment, use their own drinking containers and fill up on free coffee and soda and not wipe down the area due to possible virus carrier. Only one employee was wearing a mask, never witnessed anyone wiping down counters or tables in a two hour period.
