Today is my birthday and if all the places I could've gone, I chose here. We were seated right away and Christine, our server, came over after attending to 2 other tables. I appreciate the recommendations of "what's good" when asked and selected the CHICKEN & QUINOA MEDITERRANEAN Salad without olives. (Pulled roasted chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, artichoke hearts, onions, olives, teta cheese and quinoa blend on romaine lettuce tossed in red wine shallot vinaigrette.) I never noticed the "cafe decor" at the top. Cute. The restroom is clean and kept well. Thank you Christine for the good service and putting care into my birthday Mixed Berry Muffin Sundae. Great service to begin with! What a cute setting, it was nice and quiet inside. We stopped in for a bite to eat over lunch, which was unplanned. The food was delicious and we decided to split the three course pot roast meal and had Caesar salad, along with bread pudding for dessert . Food was served quickly and was nice and hot and delicious. So was the bread pudding. Our server was pleasant and gave some really good suggestions for dessert. Quick,, hot, and delicious with friendly service to sum everything up . We went to Mimi's café for Thanksgiving 2025. I want to say it was my first time going here and the service was great. Our reservation being a holiday wasn't bad. My husband and I love going to Mimi's for the delicious food and exceptional customer service. Our waitress named Pamela is always so welcoming. As soon as she sees us, her face lights up and she says a genuine hello. We dont have to order because she already knows what we like. Top notch ambiance and service. I love the cute French cafe vibes. The brick walls, the pictures on the wall are so very esthetically appealing. Our server was very friendly and helpful, very quick to respond and offered us with whatever we needed, had a great smile as well. The food was okay. The complimentary bread was very nice, and the price is pretty good for the portion. I ordered a blue crab and shrimp pasta, and it was really soupy. I wish it had more creamy consistency rather than watery. My fiancé ordered the 3 course meal and that was more than enough for him as well. Food was average. I ordered the salmon dish and it was honestly nothing too memorable. The salmon was cooked fine but I would've preffered a little bit more food for what I paid for and wish there was more flavor to the rice. The only thing that I felt had flavor were the vegetables, but I would've expected more for the main thing which was the salmon. Service was really nice though and my party was able to be seated quick enough. Ambiance is also cool too, high ceilings and probably better for families or bigger groups to catch up. As I stated in my April, 2025 review, the waitress suggested that I bring my own gluten-free bread and they would toast it. Yesterday I went to Mimi's with 1 slice of gluten-free white bread and asked them to toast it. The waitress said it was not allowed and had the manager come to my table and said it was against the Health Dept. for me to bring my own bread and have them toast it. The manager was not very nice even tho' my breakfast mate said I couldn't eat their bread. Did they lie or are they totally say things to sound like they cared in April. Was very disappointed in the dining room to the right of front door. The carpeting is very old and extremely worn and dirty and not acceptable for an eating establishment. We made reservations for the first time on Thanksgiving. Mimi's started taking reservations quite awhile back and we made ours around 6 to 8 weeks ago. Not sure what to expect we arrived today about 15 mins early. They took our name and had us seated in less than 5 mins. Debbie was our server and she is amazing. So attentive,kind, quick. She was so welcoming and found out later working a 12 hour shift like all employees today at Mimi's, Wow! The food was exceptional which we always expect at and today was no different. So delicious and obviously homemade. Perfect. We have always loved how it feels at Mimi's. The decor is like a small French bistro and it's always so cute and clean and fun. We would forgo Thanksgiving and the meal if it wasn't for Mom and how much she enjoys it. So it was very pleasant to go somewhere that we felt well cared for and attended too. Of course we didn't eat turkey with our meal but Mom did and loved it and had plenty for leftovers. The meal included dessert but forgot to take a pic prior to eating i. I went here for brunch on 12/27/2024 at about 10:15 AM. Food was good, service was good. Problem: As my wife & I were getting up to leave, I cockroach walked right onto and sat right in the middle of the table. As I was in a hurry to leave I did not have time to speak to the manager. I alerted the waitress and the busser, then left. I have been trying to call to speak to a manager. I have called every 20 min for past 2 hours, no one is answering the phone. I am calling as I am writing this post, no answer. So I am writing a review in the hopes that someone will pay attention. If you like Quiche Lorraine for breakfast, then Mimi's Cafe is the place for you, where the food and flavors are always consistent and the prices are reasonable. Service wait time seems to be the only variable, but it always comes with a welcoming smile. In my recent visit, I ordered the egg white a vegie omelet with fruit instead of potatoes. Never again choosing this place for Mother's Day and to-go mind you because last year I tried to eat-in with a reservation and that was a disaster. The food is just OK. The service is a zero. Kelly, Christina and the general manager Jesse are rude. With their attitude, they set the ambience to be ghetto. When picking up my order, I saw them being rude to people in person and also rude to people over the phone. One of them slammed the phone down. So looking for a breakfast place this morning and we decided to give Mimi's Cafe a shot since the wait was only 10-15 minutes. We were seated and provided menus, but it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to make it over to take our order. And another 29 minutes for the food to arrive after that. I do not blame the server, I'm guessing she was overloaded and that they were short handed. The meals were "ok" and on par with what I would expect from IHOP. Stopped into Mimi's at Arrowhead for a late lunch today. For a Saturday afternoon, the place was shockingly empty. Nonetheless, service was unexpectedly slow. Whilst awaiting our meal my husband happened to glance up at the ceiling fan overhead. The dust called on the leading edge of the blades was dark and thick. A Quick look at the other fans and chandeliers proved the same unkempt conditions. I'm sure finding someone to do this kind of work and do it well isn't easy. Outstanding! Just had my daughter's baby shower for 50 ladies at this location and the celebration was fabulous! The manager, Jesse, was extremely professional and helpful as were the servers.
