We stopped by Einstein's on the way to Prescott, and what a good idea that was! Got the maple French toast bagel toasted as well as the cranberry with honey almond smear on it and a large hot vanilla hazelnut coffee. That really satisfied the taste buds. The service was impeccable as always, and Miss Sydney was so gracious and helpful. She was lovely. The ambience was wonderful as well because it was early morning and very serene and quiet. Problem is, you won't find out until you've already wasted 20 minutes of your time standing in line because they've apparently never heard of putting up a sign. Bagels taste delicious and there is a great variety available. However the establishment is very dirty. The uncleanliness deters our local family members from frequently going. We went when we were in town to grab bagels and cream cheese to go and were shocked to see the uncleanliness. I know this location has had bad reviews, but I still enjoyed their food. But today was an experience that will keep me away for good. I placed my order online to pick up in 15-20 min. When I got there 15 min later, they told me the bagels I ordered were not available so I had to choose a different one. I asked why they didn't call me to let me know something was wrong with my pick up order so it could be ready on time? They said they don't have a phone. What kind of store that has pick up orders doesn't have a phone to call you to let you know if something is wrong with your order? I won't be returning because I would hate to run into the same situation again with no possibility of communication in advanced. It is also looking very run down inside now (not that it looked so great before). One stall was locked from the inside but empty. The mirrors, faucet and hand towel machine all dirty. My coffee was luke warm. The manager said " sorry, it's about that time to be changed" twice. Ordered online to pick up breakfast for a work meeting with a pick up time of 7:30 but the order wasn't ready until 8 (our meeting start time). They didn't not even start the order until I arrived to pick it up (and had to wait in line at t served the customers in line ordering) so it does absolutely no good to order ahead. This was a bun they were nothing remotely close to looking like a bagel. Most had no hole in the middle they were round and mushy. We asked for double toasted and got no toast at all!!! We just had breakfast at this place and will never return. We will drive to another location. This location is very filthy as soon as you walk in the door. The door is dirty, and the chairs have stains and are not in good condition. Look up to the ceiling; it has not been cleaned for years. The walls the equipment is very dirty. I stopped coming here a couple years ago because it had gone downhill so badly. It had become dirty, the employees seemed unhappy, and the ambiance and lighting honestly felt like it was closed. No music, no energy. Anyway, I tried it again about 2 weeks ago and somehow it had gotten even worse. Absolutely zero ambience. The carpet was grossly dirty, the lighting was low and depressing, the ceiling is disgusting like it's never been cleaned or repaired since opening, there were old napkins and crumbs all over the floor around us. There was no creamer out on display. We wanted iced coffee and they told us they had no ice. No ice in August in Arizona? The food was fine, the 2 employees were pleasant enough but they had a look of resignation in their eyes, especially the girl making the food. She seemed overwhelmed. This location, about 5 years ago was an enjoyable place to go get a quick breakfast. Now, it literally feels like a place that opened for food in an emergency situation. I have no idea how this place survives or how upper management allows this to continue. Is There not a district manager? I see multiple responses from some manager named Robert B who acts surprised and claims this is not acceptable and will be addressed. I can assure you, nothing has been addressed. It's dark, dank, and dismal. Arguably the worst conditions I've seen in a chain establishment in my life and that's saying something. Food was good. At 12:45pm I would expect there to more more bagel choices. All staff had back to us & no one greeted us. It was our 1st time. The staff was laughing, cussing & discussing Marvel movies. We watched several customers come in & f words & s*it kept coming from staff. They didn't greet an elderly couple or three next several. This Einsteins is even filthier than it was a year ago. Employees seem exhausted and unhappy. Bagels are not as good as they are at other Einsteins. Where is the health department and what's the deal with "Robert, the Business Manager" who pretends to act concerned about the complaints but never does anything about the unsanitary conditions? I initially tried to put in a mobile order to find this location wasn't coming up. I drive over anyway hoping it wasn't busy to grab some bagels for the kids. The guy that took my order was being trained and was patient and nice. I was advised they are not currently a franchise which is why they do not show as an option for mobile orders. Good to know. The order was wrong at first as they toasted the bagels but it was taking quite a while so I said I didn't mind the toast and was going to take what they gave. They said no and remade which was nice but took a while longer. They always seem to be out of doggie bagels at this location as well which is a bummer. The dogs know the smell of Einstein's and look for their doggie bagels lol the kids liked their bagels but definitely need some additional training/ organizing here as I know they get swamped being in the arrowhead area. Einstein still makes a good bagel but now they make it smaller and charge more. Compare the size to almost any other...try Safeway. Much smaller and they label so many as their gourmet bagels and charge an extra 80 cents for them. Many other better choices! read more

My fiancé and I live down the street so when we have our late mornings together before we head into work we always go get bagels and OJ/coffee together. It's our little routine when we actually get a day to see each other before work. He loves the cinnamon bagel, and I always get the everything bagel with avocado on it! Both very yummy, but I love their fresh squeezed OJ when they actually have it in! It's funny sometimes I wake up craving this order and it's not "the day" to get it. It just become a fun thing between us! We love coming in on the day for bagels! I'll be sad when we have to move, and no longer live near here. We highly recommend! Enjoy! read more

I have always been a fan for Einstein Bros. Bagels. But today 12/3 the service here was terrible. Not for everyone though. The cashier was touching her lips and braces as she is telling us they cannot server and drinks due to them being backed up in all the food orders. The only man was slowly cleaning and complaining of the line getting longer. At one point only one lady was making food. The man working disappeared for the rest of the stay and left the other 4 employees there to drown in all of the orders and the line only continued to grow. To the corporate. You need to do something to make sure there is always at least 7 people on staff. Also, maybe be less cheap and provide fair compensation and reward your employees. The fact that 3 out of the 4 people were complaining and you had one lazy employees doing nothing... it is beyond disappointing. What an embarrassment - truly. read more
