Well though I appreciate them making the extra bagels and was told it would be a 15 minute wait I did not plan on waiting an hour for these bagels. Not a joke I sat for an hour and the manager made it seem like a chore that he had to make them. Oh did I mention he waiting almost 35 minutes to put them in to cook. Like what the hell. I used my Yelp app to find a place that was open early for breakfast to grab and run. I found Einstein's at the top of the list and decided that it would be perfect for a light breakfast. Who doesn't love a bagel with cream cheese? Yum! Got here around 7am and purchased a Baker's Dozen Box. They let you customize a box of thirteen bagels and two tubs of smear for $14.99! Not such a bad deal and the variety keeps everyone happy. I decided on a combination between savory and sweet-- garlic, cinnamon sugar, cinnamon raisin, everything, wheat, asiago, chocolate chip and blueberry. I decided on sun-dried tomato and cinnamon sugar smear-- SO BOMB. Back in LA, I do not have an Einstein Bagels so this was my first time. Usually I go to another chain called Noah's Bagels, but I was way more impressed with Einstein's flavors and customer service. The guy who helped me with my order was very pleasant and helpful. I also bought a reusable, plastic coffee mug! For $3 it comes with a drink at the time of purchase and then when you bring the cup back in, you can get a refill for a buck and some change. Sweet! I definitely want to come back to pick up a sandwich, they looked really good. The coffee was also fantastic, I would be back again just to grab a cup of joe in the morning. read more

So disappointed in my local Einstein Bagel. They no longer will make cranberry bagels or Southwest bagel sandwich. Also told they no longer carry blueberry or maple smear. (Wonder if it's Caribou Coffee's fault.. ) Lady behind me in line left because of no cranberry bagels. She said other Einstein's will actually make more cranberry bagels if they are out.. Hope this is just this location, not a corporate decision to discontinue these items.. The place was still packed with people. I tried the Santa Fe bagel. Not a bad alternative but had to get it on a blueberry bagel. Looks like it's ripe for a competitor to come in and steal away business in the area.. C'mon bagel makers. Is there maybe a NY transplant out there I can invest my time & $ in to get a good bagel? read more

This location has terrible service, it was fairly busy but 20 minutes for 2 bagels is too long. In addition they forgot to make an item , wasn't going to wait another 20 minutes for another bagel. They refunded which is fair but I would not recommend going to this location. They also had 15-20 people waiting inside which seems too many in this time of social distancing??? read more

Finally! Einstein's has always been my go to for bagels, their tried and true! I am so happy to have one so close to me, in California their very spread out and I'd only be able to enjoy it when I was in Westminster! Now it's less than 10 minutes from me! My mom has had bagels from 3 places around the area since we've moved here: Winchell's, Dunkin Donuts and Brooklyn Bagels and she's been nothing but disappointed! I knew I was going to be satisfied at Einsteins! Even though we came late (around closing time) they still had what we wanted and that's ALL that mattered! Their cream cheese is just pure crack! The food is good and the employees are friendly. But good luck getting your order soon or correct. Even when the line is short it takes a LONG time and good luck on the weekend. Check your order before leaving too, they've gotten mine wrong twice. I used to go about twice a month but I've given up and go to Panera now. It's too bad because their food is good and the employees would probably do a good job with better management. read more

Stopped at the Sunset location on Labor Day it was packed of course which was no big deal. I waited patiently. There was no welcoming staff....zero. All pretended they didnt see the long line out of the door. Anyhow I purchased a bucket of bagels....yay it was 7.00 dollar mondays so that was a good perk I didn't know about til I saw the sign. I asked if she could remove 1 of those bagels and toast it and add bacon...which left 11 in the bucket. They charged me for the bucket plus a bagel with bacon. I explained that one bagel was removed blah blah blah ..the kid said I understand but that's the only way he could add bacon to the bill was by adding it to a bagel. I swear TIME stopped. I just looked at him and kindly said no....that's not true. I'm sure theres and add bacon button somewhere. He said NO I have to charge u. The line was still out the door so I didnt want to hold anyone up. I paid the extra 1.99 . I will be calling the manager though. The didn't have coffee lids either which didnt matter the coffee was cold. read more

2 stars are being awfully generous. We just went in at 12:30 and they were sold out of basically everything already. We order 4 bagels not even toasted, they miss one bagel altogether and when we went back to order it it was gone since it was the last one. There were about 5 or 6 employees but only one person on the register. We waited for almost 10 minutes for untoasted bagels, there was one person in front of us who ordered one thing. The lady tried giving us a lame excuse of they have new workers who don't know how to bag the bagels.......excuse me? They are working at a bagel shop. Face slap. This world is doomed if us humans can't even handle placing bagels in a bag. We also get home to find they didn't slice the bagels. Soooo I got to and find a Einstein's in every city I go. Bagels are bomb and service is always good. Until this location. I walked in and found 2 trying to stay out the weeds. Since I'm a ex server I'm extremely patient when I know it busy. I'm wasn't busy.... yet... nevermind. So I order and pay. I get my food and forgot to get jelly. I got ask for some and am told there is a .75 charge for your standard jelly... the kind you get with your side toast the IHOP... literally 0.03 per packet when you purchase in bulk. I look at her, as if I didn't just purchase a $10 bagel and lemonade. Smh I guess the bagel business is going south. This is purely a service review. Food is good up to the Einstein Bros franchise expectations. Coffee is great, which is why I come back occasionally. Service is consistently poor. I ordered. Garlic bagel w/ garlic shmear, TOASTED and a medium coffee to go. I emphasized toasted to the cashier girl taking my order. My bagel as NOT TOASTED. The person putting on the shmear couldn't align the lopsided bagel properly. I had to rotate the bagel top to match the bottom in order to avoid getting shmear all over my hands. I had to wait to pay because the girl at the register was cleaning trays instead of getting people through the line. I had my bagel and I still had to wait for her. On a separate occasion, I made the same over the phone to go for immediate pick up. My order was not ready. The staff of 2 seemed a bit lost and totally apathetic. Honestly, how hard is it to toast a bagel and put on cream cheese?! read more

I went here today around noon, not only was I greeted by a compliment from the cutie cashier with the pink hair, but they still had a good variety of bagels left! The best part of this visit to Einstein's was Derik /Daric , he was absolutely hospitable, attentive and just happy in general. I will definitely be coming back to this location. read more

The bagels are good, but the service is consistently below average. The last two times I've gone there, there is one girl taking orders and accepting payment. It's been busy both times I've gone in. Last time I had to wait for her to take about 6 orders before I could pay. I already HAD my bagel. Today she took an order before mine that was about 6 people, then two other people came after me that we're able to pay before I was able to. So after all of this, both times, a manager I'm assuming comes out to help. They need more people in the mornings to make it flow better. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to order and pay for one bagel. read more

I immediately noticed the lack of customer service skills and the Einstein's I usually frequent (west side of town) is the complete opposite. If I could give a zero I would. I've been doing the same thing for years. No issues. Everything bagel add breakfast ham and cheddar. No issue at all. Today the "manager" said I have to be charged for the breakfast sandwich even though I never get the egg. It's much more expensive this way. I go Here at least twice per week and no issue. Hmmm. If you change rules do tell but in such a way to not lose the customer. I won't be back. Sad because I am one of " the usuals" with my bagel and blended Carmel mocha drink. Guess I'll find another breakfast stop. Shame on you for your tactfulness manager lady. And, yes, i too am a manager and would never treat one of my guests like you just did. I ordered a half dozen bagels. Didn't check the bag. Didn't think I had too. When I got home there were only 5 bagels. I called just to let them know to be more careful and accurate.
