I had Huevos Rancheros and they were great! I can't wait to go back even if it's 30 miles from home. It's definitely worth the drive.

It's the avenue to el pueblo de sabor. Huevos Avenue got on my radar after they first opened in Boulder City, but I still didn't feel like checking them out (despite being relatively closer than most non-BC residents) until their second location appeared. It's on Sunset in the same plaza as Todd's Unique Dining. They have a video poker bar from the old business but apparently dropped their liquor license, which is weird. The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. Check them out for Mexican breakfast if you find yourself in the area. read more

I was told to try Huevos Avenue by a guest, where I work, so decided to come try it when I have time, I ended up coming two days in a row. The food is fantastic, the Service by Rosa was also great. Rosa informed me that the chorizo was made in house, so first day I ordered the chorizo omelette, which had a nice amount of spice and great flavor, the following day I came with my husband and daughter, and ordered their chorizo and eggs plate, which was served with beans, a tortilla your choice of corn or flour the eggs and potatoes. Everything I've tried so far has been great. I do love the salsa, both red and green. If you're looking for a good breakfast spot, this is definitely a place to check out. read more

We Tried Huevos Avenue in Henderson the other morning not long after they opened and it did not disappoint. We ordered the pancake combo and the chilaquiles Con with Chorizo, and both were great choices. I asked for extra crispy bacon and most places disappoint me as they don't know what extra crispy is but this place nailed it!!!! It was so good. The eggs, extra crispy hashbrowns and bacon were great. Pancakes which we shared were also delicious. The best we have had! The chilaquiles were outstanding according to my fiancé. They give you the option of red or green sauce or the option for half and half which is what he chose. The salsa verde was good and the right blend of tomatillos, green chiles and everything else. It was not overly spicy but just the right amount of kick to let you know there was some heat in there and he tried the pepper that it came with but it was out of his spice range. The salsa Roja was flavorful but it had a little more kick than some of the other chilaquiles I've had but It complimented everything else. The chorizo was fresh and made onsite. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were solid--definitely a satisfying start to the day. The menu has a lot of options for different tastebuds and even the most picky eater in the group. (Me lol) The service really stood out. Our server Lily was awesome--super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. She even recommended her personal favorites which made ordering easy. She brought us out a Fresh Fruit Crepe which was a wonderful surprise considering it was my fiancés birthday. It was light, fluffy, and the textures were great. It has blueberries, strawberries and Green Apples. You can tell the fruit was fresh because it was still crisp and firm. The diner itself is spacious and growing. They are Currently expanding into the next building and getting the bar up and going. They are extending their hours and expanding their menu. This was a hidden gem and It's bright, clean, and welcoming. Overall, this is a great spot whether you're a regular or just passing through. They also have a location in Boulder City which is always packed! This place is a 10/10, we highly recommend and We'll 100% be back. read more

I thought this was just a regular run of the mill restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. Food: I ordered the chilaquiles con huevos with no sour cream, green salsa, and added carne asada. The carne asada was seasoned well and paired well with the chilaquiles. The green salsa tasted homemade. The food was really good. 10/10 I ordered the coffee (probably Folgers) and they gave us vanilla creamers. Seating was plus size friendly because they had tables and chairs. Walking in for the first time, we noticed a sign instructing guests to seat themselves, as there wasn't a host at the entrance. It was a Tuesday morning with about six tables already occupied, and from what we could see, only one server handling the floor. She seemed busy from the start, which may have contributed to the overall pace of service. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a corner, making it feel a bit hidden. While it was clean and comfortable, the space could benefit from a little sprucing up in terms of décor to give it more character and warmth. Service was somewhat spotty throughout our visit. There were delays and moments where we felt a bit overlooked. Additionally, our food came out staggered rather than all at once, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal together and to capture everything as a whole. This used to be Coyotes, my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant. He spied the new restaurant and we decided to check it out. We went on Valentine's Day for breakfast and it was really busy. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was Bridget and she was very nice and helpful. It was very clean and there is plenty of parking and seating. We were surprised by the amount of American dishes on the menu. The menu was quite large. It took a long time for our food to arrive but it all came at the same time. This place has a really cute, cozy vibe that immediately makes it feel comfortable and welcoming. For a breakfast spot in the valley, the pricing is honestly very reasonable, which stood out right away. It is getting harder to find places that balance quality and price well, and this one definitely does. I went with the dulce de leche pancakes and they were easily the highlight. Great flavor, not overly sweet, and just done right. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made you feel taken care of. This is our fav Mexican breakfast place. I usually get the chilaquiles or carne asada & eggs. The chilaquiles you can do half green and red - both yummy. I love that the beans taste homemade and the variety of pancake options. I could use more Mexican options on the menu but I order the same things each time anyways. We saw this newer restaurant in the area and we love a good breakfast, so we decided to come in and check it out. Walking in, there was a bit of a wait for someone to greet us at the host stand but I understand they were probably a bit understaffed and that the wait staff was manning the host stand. Makes sense as they aren't a huge restaurant. We were sat in a booth in the main dining room and we again waited quite a bit of time before anyone came by to greet us. When our server did finally come by, she was very apologetic (and explained that they were indeed short staffed) and made sure to take great care of us afterwards. While we did wait to get seated and to order, we didn't wait long for the food. It came out so quick! The food was pretty good, especially for the price point. We did have an issue where we ordered carne asada on the huevos rancheros and it did not arrive with the meal. Our sever put in a rush and when it came it was plentiful and very delicious. The carne asada marinade they use here is really tasty and I will order it every time we come back. Hey Yelpers! Came in here on Halloween for some breakfast. They had a few decorations up to get in the "spirit" of things... Bwahahahaha. Sorry. We ordered some basics, and the food was tasty. It was our first time here at this new location which has recently opened. What a GEM! Amazing family owned and operated restaurant. This is their second location and the first one is in Boulder City. The food was excellent! And the service was TOP NOTCH! Rosa made excellent recommendations and helped us with the menu ( a lot of tasty options). We have enjoyed every single bite, the conversation, and the overall experience. She was incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was exceptional. There were many delightful and authentic dishes that are very satisfying. They have fantastic menu choices. We have ordered a few different dishes and everything was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor -- you can really taste the care that went into preparing it. Oreo Pancakes were fluffy and perfectly crafted. Not too sweet, freshly made and delicious . My favorite was: country fried steak- perfection! I always order it wherever I go and it was never perfect at other restaurants. This is the first time that I've truly enjoyed it! Perfectly cooked, not too salty, not too greasy, meat was tender. PERFECTION!!! A must try! My wife loved her : Patty melt on a grilled rye bread and house potatoes, Yummy . Everything was truly amazing and so so good!!! Food - I ordered the chicken creape. Was fantastic. Full of chickenn with sauted onions,mushrooms, spinach and some seasoning that complements all ingredients. Topped off with a sauce similar to hollandaise without the lemon taste. Husband ordered Huevos Ranchero. He loved it. He decided on divorce style with in house made sauces. Tortillas were on thicker side fried perfect, didn't get soggy with the sauces. Eggs had a really good taste. Didn't taste or look like store bought. Little more yolk and orange not yellow. Came in to check out this newer Breakfast spot. Been open a short time in a previously held longtime Mex Restaurant. This is a group that has another location in Boulder City. First walked in and greeted right away, semi busy on a Sunday morning around 10:30. No wait so we got sat right away. I noticed the bar is not being used nor is it set up currently. This is somewhat important as they have Mimosas and Bloody's on the menu but not available! The dining area is clean and has been repainted. They did not do any structural remodel. And it looks like they are temporary as there is No decors on any wall space at all. Our server Bridgette greeted us and was a super sweetheart! So we order drinks, or tried to and she informed us they have not received the Liquor License yet. She recommended the French Toast over the pancakes and the Chilaquiles with Green Sauce and Chorizo. The food does take a minute or Many to come out but that's okay. My coffee was refilled twice by other staff, yet they never cleared the empty creamers??? The portions are really nice. The food was mostly not hot. Warm and like a couple things were hot and some barely warm. I know from visiting the previous occupants they have heat lamps so?? Also they are using plastic but not disposable plates. This could be part of the problem. Our food tasted very good. I loved the Chilaquiles and the sauce was tasty and the Chorizo was excellent. Anyways, I agree with other people who have left reviews, I know they just opened but decor--Pictures of eggs, Pictures of The Desert, anything---add some decor/color because I was at first like, wow, this is kind of drab... But Jenny was amazing (The owner/our waitress) we got our drinks right away and the food came out within 10-15 Mins. I ordered Chilaquiles with Red sauce, eggs, beans and crema and they were excellent, each one was covered and soft and the sauce was hot but not so hot you can't breathe--Just perfect. Good portion size as well. The coffee was excellent (Farmer Brothers) and my brother had Chicken fried steak and finished his whole plate so he must have liked it. :) It was clean inside and the tables were comfortable. So, the only question is--My friend loves Chilaquiles and like Jenny told me, Good ones are hard to find but my friend can't? doesn't? eat Pork --so that would include Lard--do you happen to know if the beans are made with Lard? if not, I will be bringing her next time! This was the best breakfast I've ever had! I went with my mom and we were both shocked. The huevos rancheros with chorizo were amazing, the pancakes were soooo good. Not too salty, not too spicy, everything was just right. Oh omg and the horchata and jamaica were fireeeee. The service was amazing too! I wish I could have gotten our servers name, but she was so kind and attentive. The other waiter seemed to be the same. Much respect! 1st time here at this new location which just opened almost a week ago a spinoff of the Boulder City Location. We tried the Chilaquiles with avocado and in house chorizo with spices. That chorizo was fantastic non greasy and full of flavor. Next up was the Moh Moh omelette something like that. It was great with the chopped steak onions and peppers. Last but not least is the coffee cake pancakes topped with whipped cream and maple syrup they were good but not for me. Everything we ordered was great we had a great host and waitress her name is Bridget and she is fantastic and knows the menu very well and can be a big help to make your decision a little easier. Support local give this restaurant a shot they have many items that all look good. Will definitely return to try some other menu items soon. read more

I was in the area to pick up an online order from NLV. I'm never in the Henderson area so I wanted to go someplace we don't really have on my side of town. We decided to try this place. It was so delicious!!! Everything on the menu sounded so good! I ordered the breakfast combo that comes with the pancakes and my partner ordered the huevos rancheros. My breakfast and pancakes were SO GOOD!!!! The pancakes were the star of the meal! My partner said they were the best pancakes he's had HIS WHOLE LIFE!! They were amazing! I got the dulce de leche flavor. I also appreciate that the combo comes with the flavored pancakes! A lot of places only offer plain pancakes! My partner also said his huevos rancheros were really good! The service was excellent! Our waitress checked on us frequently and extremely friendly. We ended up being the only ones left at the restaurant so the ambiance was nice and quiet, we got to enjoy our breakfast in peace and quiet. I wish i lived in the area so we can come often!! Honestly went to drop off resumes at this spot and a few days later went back to try it out since I saw that it was a new location (original in Boulder City) and DAMN. The service first and foremost was so good. Not only was our server attentive, but all of the staff was checking in on us and helping each other accommodate the guests. It was fairly busy for a Saturday afternoon around 12pm, but very family friendly and spacious. If you want to get some morning drinks and throw some money in a machine, they also have a wrap around bar you can sit at with TVs for sports games or news. I went with two other people, and we got The veggie omelette with hashbrowns on the side, as well as 1 belgian waffle with blueberries on the side, the breakfast on a burger, the quesadilla burger, the red velvet waffles, and each got some jugo. All of that for $82. For how much we ordered and took home, that was NOT bad at all. I decided to write this review because we went yesterday morning and I just had the leftover of my burger quesadilla and fries (I just popped it in the toaster oven, but air fryer works too) and it still tasted just as good and was not soggy or anything. The service was also excellent we watched all the servers and they were all on it and very friendly. I ordered the Huevos Chorizo and loved every bite. My family stopped by Huevos Avenue for breakfast, and I believe this is a good spot for a simple meal! We ordered the following menu items: Cali Burrito with a side of sweet potato fries, Chicken Salad with a side of ranch, and the Chilaquiles con Huevos. The burrito was a considerable size filled with tender carne asada. Dipping the burrito into the spicy orange sauce made for a satisfying combination. Without the sauce, the burrito's flavor was somewhat plain, therefore, I recommend dipping it in the sauce! In addition, the sweet potato fries were crisp with a light helping of salt. For the Chicken Salad, we had the option of grilled versus fried chicken; we chose fried. The salad is not life-changing, but the mixture of fresh greens, creamy avocado, tangy ranch, and crispy chicken produced a satisfying bite. I did not eat too much of the Chilquiles con Huevos, thus, I cannot provide an accurate review. However, my sister, who had ordered the menu item, said the dish was a tad too salty for her taste. Furthermore, the small bite that I did eat may have benefited from more seasonings besides salt. The bench seating is on the smaller side, and in between the bench seating is chair seating. When my family and I came, it was not super busy at the time, so I can only imagine how the space would feel during busier hours. Despite the size and space, the service was welcoming. Lastly, I would describe the ambiance as a casual diner with people of all different ages dining in. It is family friendly for sure! Although I did give a 3 star rating, I do see the potential of this place. If I had the option to on Yelp, I would bump up the rating to 3.5 stars.
