Despite being a popular spot, there was plenty of seating available in the dining area, so our family could sit together comfortably. This was the most unorganized train wreck of a restaurant I've seen in a while. No clear "line" system to order, and they were slower than molasses so everyone was getting angry as people were cutting in front of people. Their employees all seemed like they were on their first days of work. Asking each other how to ring things up, not knowing how to make basic menu items, getting orders wrong. They didn't even have the coffee bar stocked. It was out of half and half in four different carafes, and three of their four coffees were either empty or cold too. Poor customer service in this location. Found a hair in my sandwich and went back to get a new one. They treated me as if it was a chore to make a new one and they didn't believe me. This review is for Einstein's catering, and this specific location's ability to assist.. Last year, for a home celebration I ordered from Einstein's catering for 50 people. They have a lot of options including fruit platters, desserts, coffee and other beverages, etc. in addition to their wide variety of bagels. Ordering was very easy, and they delivered directly to my house at exactly the time they said. Fast forward to this year... It was highly suggested to me at the last minute that it would be a nice gesture to provide lunch for my professors at my dissertation defense. I thought about what would be easy for me to do since I would be traveling to the location of this presentation. I thought about having it delivered, but it seemed a difficult situation with limited parking and a room not so easily located in the building. I left several hours prior to the presentation and drove to Einstein's. I explained what I wanted and was immediately turned over to a lovely lady who assisted me with my order and didn't even think twice when I asked for the bagels to be sliced and then cut in half, she pit creamer, sweetener, and stirrers in a bag for me with coffee cups and lids. It was very clear that they knew how to put together a caterinf order. I was able to chose from any coffee they had available (I would have been able to select any coffee they have if I had preordered). The manager was very nice and helpful. Proud to report that this location has vastly improved in service. Is there a new manager? Workers are now more friendly and get orders right. I have been coming to this place for a year now and it's always been amazing, and Server was amazing. I always order a bagel with butter on the side and they never had a problem. I guess today they didn't have ramekins to put them in today so I asked if They could put in a water cup. I am not a fan of coffee at Einstein, just the bagels. The service was terrible. This is not my usual Einstein Bros Bagel location. When it was my turn to order I asked the guy at the register to scoop out my bagel. His response was "naah we don't do that here". He was rude and unprofessional. Great service! Ordered online- food was ready ahead of time. Cashier (Ramaline) was so attentive and sweet.

Came in at 2:35pm to a mostly empty restaurant. Only one customer in the whole place sitting quietly reading, no food or drink. No one at register or taking orders. I heard noises coming from the back and thought maybe I had walked into a active crime scene. Nope... just employees running out the clock till 3pm when they close. I called out several times and continued to wait. 10 minutes went by, so I yelled towards the back that customers were waiting. Bagels are pretty good I think.. However, I especially like the cranberry bagel (oh my... sooo delicious) I think I would come here more often if they were faster in servicing. They typically have 1 cashier and 1 person preparing the food. You would think on $6 Mondays 13 bagels for $6 bucks, they would be better staffed but they aren't unfortunately. I came on a Monday and on the website it says $2 off each signature sandwich. I ordered and scanned the bar code and the employee/manager scanned it and I never got a discount! I went into the store around 1:40pm apparently they close at 2:00pm my wife is pregnant and she's a picky eater so I wanted to make sure I got her something she liked. Sadly Einstein's is not what it used to be. Completely without warning, one day I was getting bagels at Einstein's then poof I discovered Brooklyn bagels and it was never the same again. This location is ok. Conveniently located right by hollywood blvd on way to i-95. Clean but service is a hit or miss situation. One day it's great and the very next day there's not much to be desired. They seem to almost always find a way to get the customers' orders wrong. Even had on 3 different occasions been told that there was no more turkey sausage as they were out and this was at 9am. Who handles the inventory? Definitely needs better inventory management.
