I believe I left a review for this restaurant but it disappeared. I have eaten here a couple of times. My friend loves it. So we go sometimes. The service has always been great. I like their whitefish. It is very fresh and full of flavor. The bagels are sort of hit or miss with freshness. Their cream cheese is tasty. The coffee is okay. They have a pretty big menu. You can sit outside and watch the people go by.

Came here today for my morning espresso. The inside is decorated heavily with various trinkets. Ordered the espresso which was presented in a porcelain cup balanced on a saucer. Not sure the type of coffee beans were used but I watched as it was freshly brewed in a stainless steel espresso machine. Took a seat in the far corner with my espresso as I sipped and was entertained by the scattered Mexican decor (i think it was Mexican) including a green, red and black somrero hat. The glass display case of fresh bagels were visible from almost every seat as a focal point of the shop. Plenty of bagels including Cinnamon, Everything, Plain, and Onion. They offer pre-packaged quick grab pastries at the front counter including Baklava, Italian Cakes, Rugelach and Walnut Cakes. The bathroom was clean with a multi-theme of sports and Picasso art.

Super friendly server and great breakfast! I had just left the gym and needed some quick calories. Super fast and friendly service and good nutrients to start my day!

You wouldn't believe it, but this little Jewish breakfast bagel diner has been around longer than most of my dad's collection of mismatched socks. And let me tell you, it's worth every one of those 5 stars! Now, picture this: the place has this server who's been there since they invented bagels. I'm convinced she's secretly the keeper of bagel wisdom, and she'll make you feel like family in no time. And then, there's the nova bagel - it's like the superhero of breakfast. Smoky, fresh, and with just the right amount of cream cheese. It's so good; I'm considering getting it as a sidekick for my morning coffee. But wait, the real star of the show is the off-menu shrimp and grits. I don't know how my wife discovered it, but it's like finding a secret treasure. Creamy grits, succulent shrimp - it's a breakfast that could convert anyone into a morning person. We've already planned our return mission because this place is just too good to visit only once. If you're in the mood for a laugh, some amazing breakfast, and the warmest service this side of the universe, give this place a go

    Peep the grease

TLDR: Don't go. I left after the first bite. Would I go again: absolutely not. Food: This place has some of the worst food I've had in the South Florida area. Frozen tenders that are thawed and deep fried. Creating a mushy greasy nightmare. The sausage egg and cheese was a disaster. The bagel was undercooked, home fries had more grease than a fair corn dog, and the American cheese was put on as an after thought. It was still cold and not melted. Service: our server was nice and understanding. However, they felt the need to tell me that their chef had been cooking this for 30 years. If that's the case, they've been serving food comparable to a school cafeteria for 30 years. The waitress was also super aggressive even when I offered to pay for the entirety of my abysmal meal. Ambiance: it's a bad bagel shop. Uh not much more to be said.

I purchased bagels through the TooGoodToGo App on a last minute whim and almost regretted it when I…read moresaw that there was a long line to get into the JCC where this located. I was surprised that the wait in line wasn't that bad. There was a security guard who directed me around the parking lot instead of being able to go straight. My ID was checked and they asked that I put down my back window so they could see inside my car for security purposes. I wasn't aware that there was a graduation going on. I had never been to Bagel Boss so I didn't know where it was. I was concerned that there wouldn't be parking so I asked the security guard about it. He was very nice and told me that he didn't know if there would be parking since there was a graduation going on but said that if I couldn't find parking, I could pull up next to the building since I would only be a few minutes. Luckily, there were a couple of open spots. I had to present my ID again when I got inside. Once you get inside, Bagel Boss is to your right. They had shelves filled with bagels and a lady was filling the display case with muffins and cookies. They didn't have descriptions of the bagels so I'm guessing as to what I got: Pumpernickel, Everything, Plain, Cinnamon Raisin, Chocolate Chip, Sesame & Onion (2). When you order through the TooGoodToGo App, it's a surprise as what you will get. I got 9 bagels for a total of $6.41! The guy who helped me told me that I could wrap the bagels in Saran Wrap and put them in the freezer; then when I'm ready to have one, I can just pop it in the toaster. I would slice the bagels before freezing them. I had the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel the next day (after it had been in the freezer). After it was toasted, it was light and crispy. I can't wait to try the other flavors!

I was very excited that Bagel Boss was opening a store in Boynton Beach FL. They offered 3 bagels…read morefor free to try. So I went there and got my 3 free bagels to try. Here are my thoughts: 1. I have been getting bagels from Flakowitz for the last eleven years. I have been very happy with them. 2. I looked at the Bagel Boss bagels and they look like they were machine made. Flakowitz looks like they are hand made. 3. Flakowitz looks larger but the Bagel Bosses is heavier. 4. The taste is very similar and both taste good. 5. Flakowitz bagels are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are easy to chew. They are easy to chew. Bagel Boss bagels are very chewy on the outside and soft and a little chewy on the inside. They are very hard to swallow. They are also more expensive. They are Kosher which is a good thing. We don't keep Kosher. Therefore: I will stay with Flakowitz bagels instead of Bagel Boss.
