Just left there, and guy behind the register was taking money, touching peoples cash and credit cards...had his hands on his cell phone and his mouth AND TOUCHED PEOPLES TO GO BAGELS WITH NO GLOVES AND NO NAPKINS. IT WAS SO GROSS.... HIS finger nails were long and had dirt under them. I sat and watched him get people soda cups, touching the inside of them. I've been to a lot of Einstein Bagel shops in S Florida but this one is the worst!!! Ordered 5 bagels, 3 Everything, 2 Sesame to go. There were 5 sesame seeds on the Sesame bagels and hardly ANYTHING on the Everything bagels. Needless to say, by the time I got home and opened the bag to put one in the toaster, there was NOTHING on any of them. I am not even going to complain about how slow the staff is because it wasn't important at the time. The bagels are small, puffy and no toppings on any of them..Should have gotten the plain and put my own sesame, garlic, etc on them with a brush of egg wash! Never again read more

I will NEVER do business here again. I was shocked after ordering a bagel and nova after looking at the picture on their menu. When I got it, it looked like I was getting leftovers from somebody else's order. I went back to the counter and showed them the difference between the picture they had posted right over the menu. Their response: "Sir, this is what it is." I said "That is unacceptable. Can you please make THIS look like THAT?" Their response was pulling out a scale and embarrassing me in front of all the customers in line. They said "2oz is all you get." I replied, "Look at that picture. That is what I ordered. They look NOTHING alike." His response: "Well THAT picture was just for advertising. This is what you get here." To which I replied "Well then that is FALSE ADVERTISING!" And proceeded to very indiscreetly take pictures of the difference between the two and let them know that I would be posting these pics to Yelp so that other people don't get scammed on an $8 bagel.... Came in early 8:10ish we only one person ahead of me and empty other wise. I'm standing at the register for while there is 4 employees, as I'm standing there a line forms 5 people and then they take my order. There was one person working pulling food and the other where either "cleaning" I mean wiping tables coffee area etc. Mind you this new looking girl is now slammed and no one offers help just continue to do Irrelevant task when obviously it was getting busy. I've come here for over 3 years today looks like 100% new staff and the quality of the food they served me is trash and the service I received was also trash mind you I waited about 10 min asked for single egg got 2 eggs, bagel is burnt and they slapped a pound of cream cheese on it. Paid 8$ and won't be eating this for my food. before I'd get it in under a min and it would be perfect and not a mess. Looks like I'll be finding a new breakfast place sadly read more

I went to this place in the morning of New Year's day Saturday to get my son his bagel and my coffee which I do every weekend. When I got there the door was shut, and when I asked the supposedly manager why it was shut if it said open until 2 PM he said that they were short staffed. After that he let a girl in through the side single door and when I confronted him through the front door when someone came out he said that he never said they were closed. There were like seven people inside and they were not busy at all. I asked for his name and he said Trevari and that he was the manager and if that's the case it's the worst service ever. This place was great up until Jose the original manager was here and he addressed people by name and smiled. Since he left this place is a dog house the service is terrible nobody greets you and I don't plan to ever go back here anymore until they change the manager or the lousy crew that they have. read more

So I just moved near this place and I've been there on three occasions. Let me start by saying something positive. the staff is very friendly and I only had to wait for about 10 mins for my bagel once, but unfortunately, 2 of the 3 times ive visited they got my order wrong! It sucks to have to check everything thoroughly before you leave an establishment. Good thing I live close and don't mind driving back up there. Unreal. For the first time, my husband & I ordered door dash to deliver bagels & this was the unfortunate location that makes deliveries to our area. Much to our dismay & shock, this location proved not only why they have a pathetic 2 star rating, but how to go about being the laziest bagel shop around. Neither of our egg sandwiches were toasted whatsoever & neither had any flavor since the amount of cream cheese that they put on the bagel was so minimal we couldn't even taste it on either sandwich. I know Einstein backed off of how much cream cheese they use several years ago but this was a joke. Barely any on either that I had to dismantle my entire sandwich to toast the bagel & add my own freaking cream cheese from my fridge. Ridicous & lame & THIS is why your ratings continue to suck. Get real and take some pride in what you do. Any at all would beat this lame bagel sandwich that was entirely subpar compared to all other Einstein locations I've ever eaten at. read more

I come here at least 2-3 times a week because I simply love their coffee. But today the employees thought it was okay to give me a burnt bagel with a lot of cream cheese which didn't hide the fact that the bagel was a lump of coal. There are only three good things to say about this Einstein's. 1. Open very early 2. Delicious bagels + coffee 3. Great location (on my way to work!) Negative? Lets start.. Whoever goes in at 7:30am and has on professional attire isn't there to linger or to have a pleasant conversation (especially M-F), most of the time they want to get their morning coffee/bagel and get to work ON TIME. So why is it that when I walked in here on Tuesday at 7:20 Am, there was a HUGE line and the girl taking the orders took it upon herself to have a conversation with every single person in the line as she took their order? Don't you see theres a huge line and people are trying to be in an out!?!?! I totally understand the aspect of customer service, and being an all around nice to whoever you are helping in the line... But when you see 5-7 people in line, all with different orders, wouldn't the smart thing to do is greet them, take their order, and move on to the next person? A visit that should have taken me 5 minutes... Took me 15 MINUTES. Not only was I mad at the lack of common sense this cashier displayed, but due to the unorganization of the staff, my order got messed up.. How do you mess up a toasted asiago bagel and a cookie crumble latte? Oh, and did I mention I was late to work? Never coming back to this place on my way to work, whatever the time may be... I wanted to try this place for a while since it's so close to my house, but they close so damn early I can never make it. I went there this weekend finally and it was just a sloppy disappointment. I ordered a tuna salad, but they had run out of tuna so I obviously couldn't get that...I ordered an cappuccino and a lox bagel, it cost close to $11...I waited for my lox bagel for 15 MINUTES, finally went up to the register and asked them about it. Clean, fast service. Outdoor eating option, convenient location. The standard Einstein bagels are same as every other chain, a little too chewy and missing the crisp crust and tender middle of a "real" bagel. I can accept the lack of a traditional crust, but the inside could be softer to compensate. In my opinion, it's the Starbucks version of a bagel eatery, good service, but overpriced. You don't really go there for the food, because it's overpriced and unimaginative. Go there to chill with your dog and read the paper outdoors, shoot the breeze with friends and talk to the friendly staff. Staff speaks English and appear to be mostly American which is unusual these days in south Florida. Pro tip: Monday's you get the bakers dozen for $7. Hopefully they will continue this price so that we can all enjoy this nice location at an affordable price. read more

This is my neighborhood Einstein's. I start my weekend laziness by grabbing breakfast here for the household. The usual order is two cups of Einstein's coffee neighborhood blend. Sometimes I mix in a little of the hazelnut. The coffee area is clean and usually well stocked. Haven't had to moan about no cream or sugar. Because my wife has stopped cooking for me, I treat myself to one of their breakfast sandwiches. I was killing it with the farmhouse sandwich. All the wife gets is a cinnamon sugar bagel. I wont tell her about the sandwiches. I pick up a fruit cup for our son. Why is it that there seems to be melon instead of like a better mix of cantaloupe and strawberries? Is there some ratio to profitability and what is placed in a fruit cup? Just being stupid and pondering how things are put together. Service has always been good here. Never before had such a bad experience with the service anywhere else, I patiently waited for about 45 minutes for my order because the place was busy, which is good and understandable but when I realized they just forgot my order and told one of their employees she gave a me a very bad attitude, claimed that she was already off the clock and turned around and walked away from me. We stopped at Einstein's this morning for a quick bagel while out riding our bikes. We waited in the very short line to order our food, for about 5 minutes, while the guy behind the counter worked on making sandwiches with 2 other guys. Finally, he took our order, then, we waited in ANOTHER line to pay for our food. There were about 5 people ahead of us in line, and the one cashier was having trouble trying to enter a coupon for a lady. He ultimately failed, and in the meantime, the line got longer and longer, until finally, another cashier came out and started ringing stuff up on the second register. We waited in that line for almost 10 minutes, then paid for our food. Then, we waited another 12 minutes (based on the time on the receipt) to get our two bagel sandwiches, and only realized after we left that they had forgotten the side order of fruit for my girlfriend's sandwich. In the meantime, there were two guys literally yelling (loudly) at the counter help. One for messing up his order, for which he also had waited over 20 minutes, the other that he comes there all the time, service is getting worse and worse, and that he wants a discount, the name of the manager, etc. While he was berating the cashier, one of the guys making sandwiches was smirking, and I heard him comment, snidely, "maybe we should just have opened a VIP line for him". What I found really puzzling was that both guys who were yelling said they go there all the time, and the service keeps getting worse and worse. Why do they keep going back? I wouldn't..... Personally, I will NEVER go back. Waiting almost 25 minutes for 2 bagels is ridiculous, especially with 3 people making sandwiches. It was busy, but not THAT busy. And, there didn't appear to be a manager there. Their process is ridiculous - why do I have to wait in TWO lines - 1 to order, 1 to pay, and THEN wait around for my food? 5 stars all around. Great food with healthy options, very friendly service and a clean environment in the heart of a busy shopping area. Sadly it's rare in LA to find a chain restaurant where workers are genuinely friendly and helpful. This place reminds me of the Midwest and that's a very good thing. Keep up the good work! read more
