It's a pretty narrow shop, but most people are getting their food to go. After having an amazing soup at the Panera Bread in Pflugerville on my first day of the flu, I decided I wanted another bread bowl to help heal me. I ordered online and drove to the recently opened Panera in Hutto. I arrived just as my phone said the order was ready for pickup, so I pulled into the drive thru and gave them my order name. They told me they would bring it out to pickup spot one in front of the drive thru. I thought that would be easy, but it still took around five minutes for them to bring my order out to my car. I was not in a rush, but at that point I could have just waited in line, and it would have made the handoff easier. I ordered a tea and a tomato bisque bread bowl. The soup was great, especially in the bread bowl, but I was disappointed to only get one tea bag after getting two at the Pflugerville location the day before. It is a fine Panera, but it feels a little slower than others I have been to, especially the Pflugerville location that always seems on top of it. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it.
