They also have a vanilla hazelnut coffee that is amazing, sometimes I want to go here just for that. And recently, they've been running a promo on their app that if you order online, then you get a free coffee, sweeeeet. Why the low rating? Because the service is so inconsistent. There's been times where they put in the wrong cream cheese or forget the cream cheese or don't slice a bagel. I've learned to double check my bag before leaving. There's been several times when the coffee's empty and now I'm waiting 10 minutes for another one to brew. So great when you get what you ordered. My biggest gripe here was the packaging for my to go bagel. Ordered online and when I picked it up my bag was stapled closed multiple times. When I opened it in my car, the bagel was loose inside the bag. This wouldnt be a problem except some of those staples made their way into the bag with my loose cream cheese bagel. Not very safe. I understand closing up bags if you think its a door dash or grubhub order, however maybe fold over the bag and use stickers. I dont think staplers have a place around food prep. read more

We were there at 8AM, with about 5 parties behind us. The six cheese bagel with cream cheese, as basic as it gets - is still a winner in my book. The asiago is a close second. I wish they would have said if this was maybe not their usual, something like "I appreciate your patience" or "we apologize for the wait." Looking for a new breakfast place to try early on a Sunday morning in Orange County is somewhat problematic; OC rolls up early and gets up late on the weekends. I stumbled upon Einstein Bros. Bagels while sitting in a parking lot shared with Spouts (worst comes to worst, I can always grab a breakfast burrito from there, right?). They had their OPEN sign turned on at 6:05am, so they were already okay in MY book! They have quite an assortment of bagels, schmear, sandwiches and even a breakfast burrito. But it was the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich that caught my eye. You can never go wrong with brisket. So this sandwich is all KINDS of delicious! It's got tender melt-in-your-mouth brisket, an egg (with an option for two ... which, of course, I chose because I'm a growing boy), chipotle aioli, and a bagel I've never had before: a "Jalapeño Bacon Gourmet Bagel." The bagel alone would be enough, but adding the brisket, eggs and aioli made this one TASTY breakfast sandwich! The bagel had a crispy edge like it should and soft inside. It was seasoned just right. You could tell it was freshly cooked. I also shared the all nighter breakfast sandwich. It came on a hash brown and crispy cheese bagel which was also soft with a crispy edge. There were two eggs, bacon, jalapeño aioli sauce I believe and cheese. What happened to you Einstein?!? You went from, "I'm willing to drive across many cities for you!" to "I'll just buy my own bagels at the grocery store." I've been a customer for 7 years , supported the business during the pandemic, and was proud to have 9 year old call this place his favorite breakfast spot, but that all comes to an end as of today. Over the last few months I've experienced nothing but small inconveniences, from having my food prep incorrectly, to missing the vanilla in my vanilla latte, to watching others behind me in line get their very complex meal orders before my plain bagel with cream cheese. It's gotten so bad that I've wanted to get behind the counter to make my own bagels and latte. Ultimately, all I can say is the store might need to consider revisiting their standard operating procedures. Like making sure they read the drink monitor when someone orders a drink or maybe even yell "Drink!" when a beverage has been ordered. That way the customer (me in this case) doesn't have to watch the back of an employees head for 7 minutes watching them stare at coffee pouring out of the brewing machine. Attention to detail and a bit more sense of urgency would go a long way at this location. Maybe not only will I get my coffee order ASAP but maybe I'll even get the right amount refunded back to me next time. It was a fun run Einstein but it's time for me to move on. It's going to suck having to explain to my son why we're not going to his favorite breakfast spot anymore. You can also keep the .90 cents the anxiety I get lately being in there isn't worth it anymore. I came here to pick up some lunch after doing some grocery shopping at Sprouts. It wasn't that crowded and the line was short. The cashier was a little inexperienced, but asked for some help and figured it out quickly. I got the Spinach and Artichoke Chicken Sandwich that comes on a spinach bagel . It came with chips and I also got a frozen mocha to drink. I got my sandwich to go. My mocha was really good. It had a lot of chocolate in it and was very tasty. The whipped cream was a little oily though. My sandwich was warm and the bagel was nice and chewy. I liked that they had big pieces of artichoke in the sandwich. I enjoyed it.
