Had Bagel Shack delivered yesterday for breakfast. The lowers with ham on a jalapeño cheese bagel, an orange juice and a mocha. Always one of my favorites. Great service, food and a positive place. Highly recommended

This is my favorite bagel spot in OC. The owner, Chad, is almost always there and he's always so friendly and welcoming. It's a great corner location with outdoor seating. The food and drinks come out quick and are always delicious.

Jalapeño & Cheese Bagel with house made Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Cheese.
Jenn R.

Some mornings call for a toasted bagel with copious amounts of house made (whipped) cream cheese and a quiet stretch of uninterrupted time scrolling through news, memes, and random rabbit holes. Cue in Bagel Shack... and my phone. THE FOOD. - Jalapeño & Cheese Bagel. The crust is golden and slightly crisp, topped with melted cheddar and thin slices of jalapeño that add mild heat without being overwhelming. Inside, the bagel is dense, but soft and pleasantly chewy. - Sun-Dried Tomato Bagel. Studded with pieces of sun-dried tomato throughout, this bagel delivers a sweet and savory tang in every bite. - Sun-Dried Tomato Cream Cheese. Smooth and lightly whipped, this spread balances the tangy richness of sun-dried tomatoes with the mellow creaminess of cheese. THE VERDICT. Quality bagels with delicious flavored cream cheeses make it an easy decision to return!

Decided to try out a new bagel place and I'd have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm always looking for the best breakfast places in South OC, which I feel is extremely underrated as a food scene. There are so many local businesses that just make great food, and I'm glad to count The Bagel Shack among them. I'm a Bagels & Brew person since it's closer to me, but they make solid bagel sandwiches here, and I love how there's a great steak bagel option called Uppers, which makes for a hearty breakfast when you want something beyond the more basic options. It's still at a very fair price in this economy for a whole lot of food, which I'm always going to highlight. I'm definitely adding this place to my rotation when I'm looking for a great bagel sandwich, where it stands out among a pretty competitive scene of delicious, affordable options for breakfast. TIP: Jalapeño bagels are my favorite and great with the sandwich.

Baja Malibu on jalapeno cheddar bagel, iced vanilla latte and the blended mocha

The Baja Malibu is a definite "get again" bagel sandwich on jalapeno cheddar. The blended mocha was so yummy. The workers were friendly and service was quick. Store was kept clean even with the volume of customers coming in! 10/10

We love bagel shack and usually go to the one in San Clemente. This one isn't as good with their portions on the toppings. I've attached of the same thing from different locations. My bagel wasn't really toasted and it had very minimal avocado which is sucky! The line wasn't long yet when we got it but maybe they were backed up with orders.

Lowers Bagel Sandwich with Meat Aloha Berry Smoothie

These bagels all looked amazing. I got the everything bagel because that's what I always get with my breakfast sandwiches. It was toasted perfectly. Still soft enough to eat with a nice crunch. The egg cheese sausage all were fresh and hot. And the smoothie was delicious. I paid $18 and some change after tip. Quick easy and delicious breakfast if you're on the go. They have minimal indoor and outdoor seating

The service is so quick and everyone is so kind and thoughtful. One of the fort times I came they went above and beyond and I now have been coming every week for almost 2 years. The bagels are always super fresh and the combos they make are so flavorful!

There are few good bagel shops here in South Orange County but the bagel shack is by far the best of the bunch. Their bagels are fluffy, yet the outer is crisp and inner is chewy. It's perfect to take home and spread their delicious whipped cream cheese, or grab one of their made sandwiches. Our favorites are the cinnamon, the everything, the plain (in my opinion they have one of the best plain bagels) and jalapeño and cheese is stuffed with jalapeños just how I like it. The service is good, it's quaint inside but there is plenty of parking and you can sit down and eat outside as there is no seating inside. Def worth a place to check out when you are in the area.

There's nearly always a line so you know it's good. The bagels are tasty especially when toasted. The fresh squeezed OJ is perfect.

We originally found it through Yelp and saw people raving about the homemade food and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. I ordered the Denver omelet and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly airy and creamy without being runny. The flavor was simple but spot on and the avocado paired really well with it. Nothing felt off or overdone. We also tried a few other dishes at the table. The chilaquiles were fantastic. The tortilla chips had a great crunch and were not soggy at all. Even though they looked heavily sauced in pictures the ratio was actually perfect. Enough salsa for flavor while still keeping the chips crispy. The salsa itself was very good and the egg on top was perfectly runny and yolky which was a big plus. The version with added cheese was also great. Service really stood out. One of our friends asked for no cheese on their chilaquiles and it accidentally came out with cheese. The staff handled it so kindly. They took it back immediately and as an apology one of the owners or cooks came out personally and brought us complimentary pancakes. That small gesture really showed how much they care. The owners were incredibly sweet and kept checking in asking if everything was good and sharing how much care and time they put into making everything homemade. You could genuinely feel that passion. Huge props to Forest Cafe. I would absolutely recommend it. A great little brunch and breakfast spot and definitely a place we will be coming back to.

My mom had ordered their fresh blueberry muffins and she enjoyed it along with her coffee. I didn't try the muffin this time because I wanted something savory. Next time for sure because it looks delicious. I had ordered the #1 on the menu choice of meat with eggs (any style). I ordered my plate with bacon, eggs over medium, with hash browns styled "Those Hash-browns" which has onions and bell peppers. (Not to be confused with house potatoes fyi). I also had it with a side of toasted sourdough. It had hit the spot for a breakfast plate and the price was very reasonable compared to other breakfast spots. The portions I feel were perfect. I took leftovers home (hash browns wise). I can't wait to come back with more family and friends and be able to just indulge in the yummy items of their menu. 11/10 for me. More than 5 stars to be honest. I'm glad we decided to stop here.

The portion size is more than generous, I didn't even realize the hash brown potatoes the menu mentioned it came with were on the side and not just in the burrito The inside of the burrito is completely filled with egg. In terms of taste, it wasn't one of the best breakfast burritos I've had, but it's still good and very filling.
