I also got some vegetables that had mushrooms, artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes with some kinda oil vinegar dressing that I just loved. And I only spent $18. The young gentleman helping me went above and beyond helping and explaining everything to me. Unfortunately I didn't get the mustached ash blonde gentleman's name to give him proper credit. This is now my Napa sandwich spot. I got a turkey sandwich on Dutch with bacon and spouts, along with the usual sandwich accoutrements. Absolutely delicious. Simple but just how I like my sandwich to be. Fresh and flavorful. Staff was very friendly and the eating areas both inside and out are inviting and comfortable. There's a small bar with two TV's to watch sports as well. Very appealing. There are some pre-made paninis that look delicious as well, and a hot food table. All of it was tempting, but just a sandwich for the day. Finally, there is also a small refrigerated area that has some drinks along with some packaged foods. I was told by another customer that the pimento cheese dip is to die for. Something else to try next time.

And just to turn it up a notch, the Chronicle also has them in the Top 25 Best Restaurants in Wine Country. I happened to be in Napa running some errands and decided to finally check them out. I met the owner who was pretty chill and friendly plus took my order. I was there for the chicken sandwich of course, but also wanted to try their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I've seen on their menu. I also ordered some seasoned fries and a Mexican Sprite. The fries were nicely seasoned and crispy. The chicken had the perfect crisp to it and was juicy inside. The coleslaw inside gave the sandwich a nice tangy twist, while the hot honey had a nice balance of both sweet and spice. I did have a bit of a challenge attacking this since it was a huge sandwich, but I definitely liked it. The Cheesesteak was a bit messy (in a good way) but was a nice size for a full one; probably should have gotten a half one but oh well. The sliced steak was tender and juicy, while I also enjoyed the flavors of the cherry peppers and garlic mayo. Would definitely order this again. This was an experience I'm glad I finally had the opportunity to check out. Will go back hopefully soon to try some other items.

From the first bite, I was sold. The beef was juicy and had that nice grilled flavor, the Gruyere added this creamy, slightly nutty taste. While the rich sweetness of the caramelized onions introduced an entirely new layer of flavor to the dish. Then the fried egg, once the yolk broke, everything came together. Buttery, salty, sweet, smoky, all at once. Every bite was messy, but honestly, that was part of the fun.

It turns out certain breads are an upcharge, but that wasn't communicated--I only realized after I had already paid. I also asked for pepperoncini and was charged $3, even though it's supposed to be $1.75. On top of that, it looks like I was charged for cucumbers, even though they're listed as part of the vegetarian sandwich, which feels a bit misleading. I've never had this issue before, so next time I'll definitely double-check pricing or order online since that's always been accurate for me. I still enjoy the food, just wish pricing and add-ons were more clearly communicated.

What's great about the Tempeh sandwich was that it was a very thick block of Tempeh and not a whole bunch of individual pieces as I had imagined. It was very flavorful overall. Reid also provided outstanding service and it was great to chat with him.

I like the new interior setup with the ordering upon entering as well. This was completely different experience for us today. We had a lovely lunch and left full and satisfied. Unfortunately, the second coffee still had a small amount of grounds at the bottom. It was much less than the first one, so I decided not to go back for a third time. I'm not sure if this was just an issue with the batch or the way the coffee was prepared that day, but it was a little disappointing, especially from a bakery with Bouchon's reputation. Aside from that, the coffee itself tasted good, the macarons were delicious, and I'm glad we stopped in. I would definitely return for the pastries and macarons--I just hope the coffee preparation is a little better next time.

We accidentally left a jacket. We didn't remember where we left it, so we started checking places. After a few phone calls, we found it. The staff found it and we were able to recover it. We are so appreciative!
