Went 3 times in last 10 days and always out of cranberry bagels. today they did have 3 left. I asked the manager why are you always out? Can't someone ask the baker to make more? He said "You sound unhappy!" I said "I am!" He said "well you can use the door and leave!" I said are you telling me that you won't sell me the 3? He said ok! Took my money and then waited on 3 other customers before handing me my 3. I asked if he was the manager, he said yes. What a jerk. Never have a warm reception in this place. The young man at the register was great -- very friendly and helpful when we ordered. Unfortunately, the experience changed once we got our food. A woman came out from the back and told us the dining room was closing and that we needed to take our food outside to eat. The way it was communicated came across as very rude and abrupt. I wish this had been mentioned when we placed our order because we would have chosen to go somewhere else. It was frustrating to be asked to leave the dining room immediately after receiving our food. What made it even more confusing was that there were still people in line ordering and paying inside, and we likely would have finished eating before they even received their food. Clear communication and a more courteous approach would have made a big difference in the experience. read more

What a disaster this place is. Placed an order (just 2 sausage egg and cheese sandwiches) for pick up while shopping at target. Arrived 15 minutes later to pick up my order at the time it said it would be ready and it hadn't even been started. No one was even in the store when I entered. I was at the place about 7 am saturday,the unhappy staff was quickly filling online orders and ignoring customers.There were 4 or 5 people waiting all boomers plus one hipster. After several minutes a gen Z female approached the register. she glanced at me. no expression. I guess that means "can I help you". I ordered and paid. If you want to get food fast, this is the Einsteins to visit. They are fast service, friendly, and they get the order right 9.8/10 times! Though there's no drive-thru, there's plenty of parking and you get in and out fast (as long as you know what you want;). If you dine in, the place is clean and has plenty of seating. This morning, I dropped my wife at the Olde Town Arvada Station who was heading to the airport for an international flight for business and family, I headed to Einstein to grab a Texas Brisket sandwich with two eggs. A young cashier, whose name I didn't catch, was very pleasant and friendly that I tipped for the services. I took the bag and went home. When I opened the wrap, I realized there was very little brisket with two eggs. The bagel was supposed to have sliced jalapeños, but there were only two slices on it. The brisket was tiny, about one spoonful and mostly in the middle, while the rest were 2 eggs. What I actually ate wasn't "Texas Brisket", but more of "Texas Double Eggs". I was disappointed because I'm actually from Texas and needed to taste "brisket" which was just tiny portion. I paid about $11 for this! read more

The best bagels! I'm so happy to live in a place where Einstein Bagels exists. TIP FOR PARENTS: My son who is 5 always gets a chocolate chip bagel lightly toasted with easy cream cheese and cut into fours so that his little fingers can hold each piece. Works great! My usual is a potato bagel toasted with butter and honey. To die for. Seriously. I also love the fall season for their pumpkin smear and pumpkin bagels. This time I tried their apple cinnamon with pumpkin smear and it was so YUMMY. I also tried their double baked hash brown which was tasty with a little ketchup. I had them warm it up too. When I'm needing something heavier I LOVE their farmhouse bagel creation and depending on how hungry I am I usually only get one egg. It's enough to fill me up sometimes till dinner. Their coffee cake and muffins are also always super yummy. I LOVE that they always have fresh squeezed OJ and a variety of drinks other than the usual fountain drinks. I haven't tried the coffee yet but I will try it out next time I'm there. read more

I have been going to this Einstein location for years. The past 2 years when I order a bakers dozen, I have to double check the count. Periodically there are only 12 bagels not 13. My last visit there were only 11 bagels. When I bring the under count to the attention of staff they are always pleasant about fixing the count but I think it is time to find a new bagel shop. read more

This Einstein's is in a great location and the bagel was decent. Unfortunately I doubt I will ever visit again due to the state of uncleanliness. The checkout counter had a disgusting accumulation of dust and hair. The floors were unkept and the minimal seating available was also dirty. Will you please hire someone to properly clean your establishment and offer more seating. This place could be great if these issues are addressed! I've never had to ask for my bagel to be toasted from any bagel place therefore I've gotten home 2x and my bagel wasn't toasted. The reviews about the amount of cream cheese are correct, it's like they are saving money or something. Last, I've never left here without someone offering an apology for how long it took to get my food despite there being at minimum 5-6 people on the line making food. I get it though...it's bagels not curing cancer so no bigggie. Just gonna avoid this place now because it's not worth feeling frustrated. I went to the Wads location at 9:30 this morning and they literally only had 4 types of bagels left. Cruised over to this location and everything was in stock. We ate here 2 days in a row. It's convenient, fast and nice to hang out in. I ordered the poppyseed bagel with honey almond and it was so good. Their vanilla hazelnut latte is also pretty yummy. The first day we ate here, I didn't get a lot of shmear and was a little disappointed. The next day, I had just enough. I guess depending on who makes your bagels, the spread is inconsistent. I like that they have a wide variety of bagels and my favorite shmear is the honey almond. They do have a lot of good ones though. Super annoyed today. I get we have COVID going on, but if you do have a job,... please do it right. I called in to place a togo order, and she said it would be a 5 minute wait on the phone to place my order. I said that's fine and waited 15 minutes. Proceeded to hang up, call back and get my order in right away. Walked it and was told I have to wait outside because they only allow 5 people in at a time, (which BTW there is PLENTY of 6 foot spacing for more people to wait inside). To top it all off... bagel is only covered with half smear, like they were running low and did a once over. I know this is a hangry rant, but seriously?! the one off Wadsworth has way better service than this one. Make the drive and avoid this one. read more

Was the first and only person in line. 5-6 girls were "working", which mostly included gabbing. It took ten minutes to get my basic sandwich. Then it sat on the counter for another 5 minutes getting cold until someone finally gave it to me. No effort and customer service is obviously a thing of the past. Funny thing though is that at other fast food places like Chic-fil-a, they are FAR BUSIER and yet you get service with a smile. No wonder this place was dead. read more

I've been to this location a couple of times. The staff is very mixed of super friendly people and rather reserved people who are just there to do their job. But I can't blame you, we're all human. The bagels are always delicious. Mine have always been fresh and they put a generous amount of schmear on them. (Which probably isn't so good to my waistline but I can't resist!) I really enjoy their coffee but their hot chocolate is really good too. I've tried their sugar cookies which is pretty good but their bagels have my heart. I have been stiffed too many times to have any more faith that you'll pull it together. The saddest part is that I really enjoy your bagels, everything else pretty much sucks. In the past I've gotten an undersized bagel only to be told it was the bagel maker in the morning guy's fault. If they were wrong, don't sell them. I've gotten rotten potato salad, replaced with half-hearted apology while looking away (toward another employee) and various mischarges, shortages, overages and out of stock products. I'm fed up. Like that exciting person you begin dating only to find they have way too many flaws to consider it a functional relationship, I'm ending things. It's not me, Einstein Bros, it's you. You're staff all have tongue piercings and the most apathetic attitude I've encountered, save for Taco Bell. Half the time when I eat there I'm first greeted by exposed butt crack before "may I help you". I took several cellphone pictures to illustrate my point of empty display case, dirty floor and so forth. So I say goodbye Einstein, and good riddance, I can make my own veggie sandwiches for far less money and trouble. I love Einstein's - I don't think you can beat them for convenience (unless you like McDonald's breakfast which I do not). However, I think their prices are quite high. $5 - $6 for a breakfast sandwich is pretty ridiculous especially when you consider subway now offers them for $2- $3 and there are breakfast burritos offered from many places for less than $5. But I can't resist going for a basic bagel with cream cheese (especially when I have a free bagel Friday's coupon)! I frequent this location as well as the one in Denver West. Most of the staff are great but there is one women who always seems to be talking orders when I go. I can only say that she is fortunate they do not work for tips. She seems to despise her job and she appears to be very annoyed with everyone who walks in the door. Also beware, if you order to go there is not a great place to stand and wait for your food to be ready. Your choices are pretty much limited to blocking the door or blocking the coffee - neither of which is a great option. Despite the problems I enjoy Einstein's for breakfast. The food is always hot and ready quickly. Whether eating in or quickly grabbing to go it is a great way to start the day. read more

Much improved!!! We have been here many times and had almost stopped coming entirely because they just didn't seem to have it together. A new manager recently took over (12 months ago maybe?). The place has gone from a place with always dirty tables to mostly clean tables. The food has gone from inconsistent to consistent. The staff still rarely smiles but clearly they are doing a better job of training their staff. Almost entirely positive recent experiences has brought us back more often. I'm glad they remodeled the store so that the bathroom doors are no longer immediately adjacent the tables. Things are improving with the GM that took over. Hopefully it will continue. My favorite things from Einstein's are the travel coffee mugs. They're super cheap (like $3 and the coffee is included), plus they're dishwasher and microwave safe! On top of all that jazz, they're cute, which totally makes the coffee taste better, right? The Kipling/I-70 location is by far my favorite. The staff is incredible. My company regularly orders a spread of bagels and lox for client meetings, and the presentation is beautiful. I come here all the time and maybe one out of 10 times my bagel is decent. This time, the salmon tastes old and looks like it was put together by a 5 year old. I've let it slide every other time and just dealt with it but I'm over spending 8$ on a bagel and not even being able to eat it. I love me a tasty turkey on an everything bagel. Which is what I got on my last visit here. I always forget about Einsteins and am tired of the standard fares that are on this side of town for lunch options (when I forget to bring my lunch to work). There is plenty of parking and the last time I was in here there were people eating in the restaurant, but there was no line. Sweet! I do agree with other reviewers that the prices for a sandwich weather breakfast or lunch is a little more expensive than other places but I don't mind paying if I am going to get a decent & filling lunch that doesn't make me feel all bloated and greased out when I am done eating. I am a sucker for a just a regular old bagel and cream cheese too. The reason for 3 stars one might ask? Everything smelled like syrup from the bag to the drink cup to the wrap they put around my sandwich. It was weird. Second, the staff wasn't very pleasant. The girl that took my order was kind of surly and rude, and the guy that handed me my lunch sort of threw it at me in a kind of "here's your food now leave so I can get back to doing nothing" way. Again, it was weird. I am sure I will come back as it is a convenient location, I just hope the staff is having a better day and all my stuff doesn't smell like syrup. read more

I've been coming in here at least twice a week for my post-swim nova lox and bagel for a couple months now and I find the staff to be super friendly and fast paced at every single visit. They've been apologetic for longer than normal prep times, which I didn't find certain long at all based on the volume of business they were trying to take care of. The tables have always been clean every single time I've visited as well. To be honest, I'm blown away by all the negative reviews as they are truly opposite of the dozen or so visits I've had in the past couple months. Few good decent employees that work here but also some of the laziest incompetent people I have ever seen tend to get hired here. Makes me feel like I'm at McDonald's.. Very disappointing every time.. Came for breakfast for avocado toast, a coffee and a chocolate. The avocado toast and the chocolate were great but the coffee was not the best (that's the reason for the 3 stars, but honestly this is more a 3.5 stars) The service was fast and there is plenty of space to sit inside. The last two times my family and I have visited this Einstein's, the service and the time it takes to get your food has drastically improved.
