Normally this location isn't very good. I've been here maybe 20 times and out of that 20 times my order has been right twice. I usually get a pretzel bagel with butter and smear on the side and an Asiago bagel dog. Today I ordered this. My bagel showed up with the topping on in and not on the side and they didn't put butter on it. I was about to say something yet again but then something stopped me when I looked at my hotdog. I want to give the person that made it a high five because this person put love and effort into it. I pulled this dog out of its wrapper and it was shaped like a giant penis. It had the shaft. The helmet and even the pee hole. I died laughing so hard that it made my day. Normally people would be offended by this or some social justice warrior would find a reason to complain. Not me. It is mind-boggling that a bagel place can be this consistently slow. It's not like they're making them from scratch for each customer. 11am on a Wednesday, three people behind the counter, four in line, took eleven minutes to get a toasted bagel with a smear. I had to stop coming here during busy times because the wait was forever and now it seems that there is no good time to get anything resembling prompt service. I came here today for a nova lox for lunch. And the girl at the register, Sarah was talking to her co workers. Whine the counter so I was waiting. I gave her my order when she was ready and gave her money and she practically threw change at me. She then made my sandwich , almost no salmon on it, put everything ok the side, so she basically made me put it together. Then she forgot my potato salad and threw attitude when I was waiting for it. Probably one of the worst locations to go to. Staff isn't very friendly and don't pay attention to your order. There have been many times where they have screwed up my order or gave me the wrong kind of bagel. I'm positive it's not that hard to take a simple order. Managers never seem to be around or care about complaints. Service is also very slow and their remodel makes no sense to me. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

The customer service at this location is poor. I ordered a six cheese bagel. When i ask the cashier why my order is more than what the meal deal is, I get the response "that guy over there was supposed to tell you its a premium bagel, its fifty cents more" , no sorry about that, no adjustment, just a deal with it attitude. Fifty cents is no big deal to me, but don't slip it into my bill without saying anything. Overall the bagels are good but don't expect good service. read more

Yessss. The bagel thins are perfect. They're not so big that you feel guilty, and they're small enough that you can skip the low-fat cream cheese and just go for the good stuff. I haven't tried the thin sandwiches, but I probably will if they get more flavored thins. My favorite sandwich is the Southwest one, I forget what it's called. Turkey, pepper jack, chipotle mayo, veggies... and I get it on a green chile bagel. So yummy. Fruit salad and orange juice for breakfast, too (with my bagel thin.) Thanks Einstein! Horrible wait times. 8 employees behind the counter and 15 people waiting for their orders. They are just serving bagels. I would suggest they look at their whole process and start over- this is horrible. I ordered a toasted power bagel with cream cheese. The girl who made it handed me the bag over the counter, and it had cream cheese all over the bag. It was messy and got on my hands. Then the bagel showed very little sign of being toasted at all. There was less than half the amount of cream cheese that you normally get on these bagels. I got there on a Sunday 4/7/19 before 3:00 & asked the woman working if they sold or had any "grab and go" bags of bagels...& she kept repeating that someone was already coming by for pick up!? I was NOT asking for a handout...I wanted to buy some bagels, then she proceeded to tell me they are closed (by then it had turned 3:00).....but in the good ole' days when a person entered into a place of business BEFORE closing hours, it was customary that they provided a service & you were waited upon!!!! A young man had piles of money counted out on the next table over & it was evident they possessed absolutely ZERO customer service skills and were ready to close down & get out of there!!!! I understand that, but I was there before closing hours!!! I am a prominent community member of Allendale, and you just LOST YOURSELF A CUSTOMER.....Continue this type of service & I'm sure you will lose more!!! They proceeded to turn down several more customers arriving at 3:02 & 3:03. If it were a "Mom & Pop" Business, this never would have happened....they would have stayed open as long as it took to honor EVERY CUSTOMER RESPECTFULLY....even if it meant staying open later!!!! I came in here a few days ago and they seemed to have an entirely new staff and a lot of them. There were 7 or 8 guys working the lunch shift and they really had their stuff together. The guy taking orders was shouting them out before they even popped up on the screen and the other crew memebrs were repeating them back and getting started. They were definately in a lunch rush groove and it worked! Very impressed with the improvments! read more

I've been to this location twice now. The first time was rather busy with the morning Saturday breakfast crowd. The second time around noon on a Tuesday. The food was good both times and prompt. However both times every single table was dirty. I can understand on a Saturday morning but on Tuesday everyone was standing around. This won't keep me from coming back but I would hope the manager would pay more attention to detail. read more

Einstein Bros bagels is really good but so far this location doesn't have an organized staff. Victoria was taking orders but when I was next she just left and help her partner and didn't even say I'll be right with you, I had to ask and she said I'll be right with you. Fairly busy, lost my name but made my order and it sat there waiting for me to ask them for it instead of walking to the pick up area to see who may have waited too long for the order. Too busy for me to get the attention of the manager until everyone else was helped. Manager gave me a quick apology which was weak because their mistake. Bagel was ok, (didn't seem toasted anymore because it sat in the bag steaming itself) but $5 for a fountain drink and a bagel that took a little more than 10 minutes is a waste of my time. read more

Excellent manager and friendly kids working there. The staff works quickly when lines are long. I like that Costco offers the gift cards at reduced price. The sandwiches are so so for the price. Smoothies good but not amazing. Bagels always yummy. The only complaint I had is when the older staffer murdered my bagels in cutting machine, not sure how you can do that in automated unit, but manager quick to offer me reduced price next visit which I had not expected so KUDOS for good customer service. Place is usually busy and easy parking out front in smaller mall off I70 and Kipling. Last year the company didn't offer the amazing pumpkin creme cheese very long so hope they do better this season. read more

The past few times I have been here, the service has been extremely slow! Today, the slow service allowed me some time to observe the workers. The girl at the register had snot oozing out of her nose. I'm not talking a little, I'm talking a 2 ft long strand that she had to step away and handle. I thought, OK, she's just ringing the register; I can make sure to wash my hands after she handles my credit card. Then, she needed help ringing something up and the person making the food came over to assist her. He kept his protective gloves on while handling the register and then went back to making the food with the same gloves on!!!!
