Took almost a half an hour to get served. Food was cold. Waitress never came back to fill water and to ask about dessert. She just dropped a bill on the table. Served canned corned beef hash. Busboy grabbed our dishes before we finished our meal. Never refilled our coffee. read more

EJ's Bayfront Cafe is such a lovely, consistently fantastic, place to have breakfast and/or lunch. Bob greets us with a smile and a question, 'Inside or Out? Lovely that one has a choice. Even when the establishment was packed the other morning, we were seated outside and offered blankets to take away any chill. That was great. I believe my husband and I have had each of the waiters as we frequent EJ's weekly. The omelets are delicious. If our waiter is busy, Alda brings our order from the kitchen. I love this as her demeanor is pure sunshine. The food is great, the atmosphere one of happy customers and a great service team that appear to enjoy working together. My husband loves the Bloody Marys. I love the coffee, the service, and the delight on my husband's face when the server lets him know that there are fresh cinnamon rolls hot from the oven. As much as I would like to keep this place to ourselves, that would be selfish. EJ's deserves to have people know how terrific it is. And Congratulations to the owner, Eric, who I do not know. The cutest place ! Its in a fancy shopping area - on the corner. It was packed when we got there but quickly got seated within 10 mins. The atmosphere was awesome, felt homey and the food was fantastic! I got the bacon eggs Benedict sub the tomatoes for spinach - my favorite meal! The hollandaise sauce was thick, bread was still crispy and the home fry's were seasoned perfectly. My boyfriend had the philly skillet. Steak was delicious - love how they incorporated a famous sandwich into a breakfast. Since they are known for the banana stuffed french toast we HAD to get it as well. This is more of a desert!!! Thick challah bread stuffed (they don't go easy either!) even comes with ham and eggs. Our breakfast was nothing short of amazing and we will defitienly be coming back. read more

This is our favorite brunch spot in Naples! The service is always incredible and the food is delicious. We usually dine with someone who has a gluten and egg allergy and EJ's has always been accommodating and helpful with menu suggestions. We usually try to get a table outside - love the atmosphere. This place was a big disappointment. We were greeted by our server. He was quick to push the alcoholic drinks even after I told him I wanted water. We waited for what seemed like a pretty extended amount of time for our breakfast to arrive. We came at 8am on a Saturday. It wasn't busy as there were several tables open. As for the the food, my order was the stuffed banana French toast. The other person ordered a breakfast skillet. We sat outside because it felt fantastic. However, my fried banana French toast came out cold. For being fried, I would expect to have to wait a few minutes to eat it, but the entire entree was cold. The skillet had no flavor except in the potatoes they were cooked with. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. read more

The side of cheesy hash browns were my favorite part of the dish but the second visit they came out cold.. Service is friendly but they have gotten my order wrong also and didn't check in much until it was time to pay. My partner tried a mimosa and it was just okay, I had the Bloody Mary and enjoyed it. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a hit! Mimosas with a strawberry affixed to the glass. We ate outside and had great service! What a great way to start our vacation than here! Good was good. I had the Crab cake Benedict. The crab cake itself was soggy.( like really soggy) But the actual crab in it was fresh, and had the potential to be a top 3 contender for the best Benedict I've ever had ...(if only it was crisp) Everything had CORN in it. My husband had an omelette, hash browns, and toast. His western Omelette had corn in it. His hash browns contained corn too. It was definitely a different take on breakfast. We are at EJ's everyday of a 5 day stay over at the Hyatt House. We kept going back for the food but the wait staff was beyond accommodating and friendly. Even on their busiest mornings they would stop by our table to say hello. The breakfast menu was extensive and we enjoyed everything we ordered; even the Bloody Mary's. We also tipped the busboy, he was working his tail off! You'll have a wait on the weekends, but enjoy the view outside on the bay. read more

I can VERY CONFIDENTLY recommend the French toast. If you don't like it you're tastebuds are broken. Can't say enough nice things about this place. It's been 3 yrs since we dined and EJ's and the STUFFED FRENCH TOAST is as good as I remember it. It is a decadent textural delight. I hate bananas, so I get the APPLE. The only thing I've ordered from EJ's that wasn't amazing was the salmon lox bagel. The bacon is a little below average and the scrambled egg portions seem a bit small. But they always serve enough syrup. Just skip the coffee and order the Fresh OJ. Wear whatever you want but the dress style is looks like everyone was touring naples in a convertible. Or are going to go on a private boat after they eat. Staff is lively and upbeat and they always have a level headed host/manger person in charge. you can just feel things running smoothly. Indoor and outdoor seating. It's not a big restaurant. EJ's is located in a nice little plaza right next to the bayfront. With COVID, they've set up a good number of tables outdoors (all six feet apart) and have limited indoor seating. The staff are all wearing masks, and were outstanding with their check-ins and service. We ordered the classic eggs benedict and the smoked salmon eggs benedict. The home fries that came with the dish was excellent, and the fruit was fresh. The eggs benedict was also perfectly runny, but ran out the salty side. The smoked salmon itself was especially salty. It would've been a perfect meal, but the dish was overwhelmed by the salt and hollandaise sauce. read more

Stopped in for breakfast the other day. I ordered eggs Benedict and orange juice. The poached eggs were not cooked thoroughly and the egg whites ran all over the plate. Service was indifferent and curt. I got the bill and noticed that the glass of orange juice was $6.99! Should have had a craft beer. No one bothered to check back to see how my food was. But when I paid the bill, my server was very thorough in explaining how to leave a tip. read more

We had a salmon salad and a chicken salad, everything was perfect and we were served within about 5 minutes!
