Was looking forward to a nice relaxing Sunday brunch. Asked to be seated outside. Thought the name "bayfront" meant views of the bay but that was not the case. Instead we were seated next to the bar, with a lot of noise coming from the kitchen and from within the small dining room. Staff were going in and out of the cooler just past our table, which kept bringing blasts of cold air on my back. Our server was very nice and the food was great, but slow in coming, I had high hopes but this was not the experience we were looking for. read more

It was very crowded and the wait was way too long. We got there at 10:50AM and finished at 12:30PM. We held on because of the ratings. The food was ordinary, nothing spectacular. The service was rushed and it looked like the waiter had too much on his plate to handle. Definitely not worth the time it took. read more

So I went there with my girl friend visiting her friend here in Naples and EJ's lives up to its rating. Besides a little mishap when the waitress accidentally dropped the syrup on the ground and it splashed all over the back of my gf's shirt. I ordered the bacon and sausage skillet, my gf and her friend ordered the banana stuffed French toast and the friends mom ordered the classic Benedict. Very yummy although the portion side was fairly small. The sun was out the weather was awesome couldn't ask for more. Oh might I add they close at 3pm on Saturdays so make sure to set your alarm clock if your hungover from the previous night. I will definitely be coming back, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. read more

On the last day of my trip to Naples we decided to have breakfast before we headed back, this place was recommended as the best breakfast in Naples. I would not say it's the best breakfast/brunch I have ever had but it was pretty good. The menu was your usual breakfast food. The server seemed to be off, not sure if maybe she was hungover or tired. If I'm back in Naples I would not go back unless I was in the area. It's not that bad but it's nothing to write home about. read more

Excellent brunch spot on the water - worth every bit of the wait time. Our table got the Bayfront Scramble, Sausage & Bacon Skillet, Crabcake Benedict and Smoked Salmon Benedict - all of which were delicious. We ate every bite and washed it down with bottles of champagne. If you're with a group looking for mimosas, it's definitely more cost effective to order by the bottle (I believe it was $28). This spot was awesome! Conveniently right by our hotel too! I ordered the bayfront scramble. it was by far my favorite breakfast on this trip. My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros, he really enjoyed it. We tried to go back again, but it was really busy. I understand why it was! Definitely check this place out!!! read more

We had a terrible experience at a neighboring establishment and Eric (owner) accommodated our party of six promptly, even though they were very busy with the weekend brunch crowd. Our server Cheyenne was fantastic and our brunch was delicious It might sound silly but they literally saved the day. I'm an Ej's fan for life. Great job. read more

Great location, food, service, and price. I was pleasantly surprised to find a couple healthier options too (although no vegan options). It's unfortunate that they do not take reservations or call ahead seating, because if there's a larger party of four there can be quite a wait. read more

Gina Marie was a darling of a waitress and when she was too busy to check in some other cute little server kept checking in on us too but I never got a name or phone number, so that was a little disappointing. I really like the brunch menu selection here. They have a refreshing variety offering more than say typical hash or grits. Came with a girlfriend for a late lunch. I ordered the stuffed pineapple salad with a side of cottage cheese, and she had the strawberry salad with raspberry vinaigrette. We both really enjoyed our meals. We came in while the Bayfront Snow Crab Festival was taking place so service was a bit slow & disorganized, somewhat understandably so since I figured they were unusually busy. Though I will mention this weird experience bc it made that much of an impression on us, the male host (in his late 30s?) at the front seating people gave us the most uncomfortable eye contact we've experienced in a while and moved his face about 1 inch from mine to talk to me....??? For a second I thought it was a joke, then I realized it was an intense sort of contrived "intimidating" thing. My friend asked me after who he was! EJ's Bayfront Cafe is a great place to go for brunch in Naples! If you're looking for a great experience with fresh and tasty food, EJ's is where it's at. There was no wait when we got there for brunch last Sunday around 10am. We chose to sit outside because it was such a nice day. I had the crab cake Benedict, which was divine, and my husband had his usual classic eggs Benedict (without the paprika). He and I both loved our choices. I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was on the pricy side, but it tasted like ripe Florida oranges were being squeezed directly into your mouth. The service was good too, no complaints there. I can't wait to return, this is a great brunch spot. read more

Went in for breakfast. Excellent food and top notch service. The staff was extremely helpful and very efficient in their jobs. I was so impressed by how fast they cleared at table after someone left and sat sat the next group, I even timed it once. 3 minutes, 3 seconds from the time the guests left until the table was cleared, cleaned, reset, and new guests were seated. read more

I can see why this place has so many positive reviews! My husband and I stopped in for breakfast our first morning in Naples. After that visit we decided to make this our breakfast stop each morning. We just went for a second breakfast and plan to go again tomorrow. The menu is large and everything we have ordered has been great. We've tried omelets (I had the garden omelet) pancakes and stuffed French toast. All delicious. They have been great about modifications and offer add ons in the menu. The place is really cute with indoor and outdoor seating. The best part is the staff are so friendly! Everyone is very welcoming and kind. They even brought out coffee to us while we waited for a table and brought to go cups when we were done with our meals. Can't recommend them enough. read more
