I love this cafe! This is my fav breakfast place in Naples because 1. the food is awesome! and 2. the outdoor seating. I especially love coming here on a Saturday morning before the rush and ordering eggs, potatoes, and toast while sitting outside in the sunshine (yet shaded from the building's breezeway). It's a great atmosphere with unique tasting food (even simple eggs and potatoes). Don't know what all the excited noise about this place is. I went there because somebody said it was great. First, if you sit outside, you are sitting on a sidewalk, there is a view of the cars passing by but you are not on the water. Second, the food was just ok. I ordered eggs benedict and they were ok but nothing special. The prices are rather reasonable given how expensive everything is nowadays. Still, I won't be back. read more

So i was going to give this place 4 stars. Service was great and efficient . My husbands bacon and sausage skillet was amazing. I got the banana stuffed french toast which was good but very very sugary.... which if you like sugar go for it but it was too much for me. The thing that made me dock a star is that a small cold brew was 6$ and a orange juice was 6.50$. We are on vacation and this was our most expensive meal of the trip and for breakfast with no alcohol i dont know. read more

The crab Benedict was amazing! My husband got that. Everything else was just ok. I got the crab omelette not very flavorful. My son got the stuffed French toast. He said it tasted like a funnel cake because it deep fried. The wait they quoted me was 15 minutes and we waited 50 minutes. read more

We had a very enjoyable brunch here on Sunday morning. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good.

This has made its way into my brunch/breakfast fav list. I had the Huevos Rancheros and found it to be my 2nd fav iteration ever. Served over a fried tortilla shell with over easy eggs, avocado, cilantro, black beans, tomatoes and other spices. It was fantastic! My wife enjoyed her enchilada. I had a great time here. From the sweet elderly host to the awesome servers. The ambiance, the views, the smells. Oh my gosh! So awesome!! I ordered the Crab Cakes Benedict and let me tell you something honey. It was EVERYTHIIIIIING!!! I can taste it again now! I had fresh fruit as a side but chise to order the cheesy potatoes as well. Ate at this establishment and found it to be tasteless and uncomfortable. They sat us in a tiny lopsided table outside (we tried to get a table inside at first but it was crammed and cold). Ordered the garden omelette substituting broccoli for tomatoes and it was runny and tasteless. When ordering, I had to repeat that I did not want broccoli in my omelette three times. I had to add cheese to my omelette because they don't put cheese in their omelettes and they don't offer pepper Jack. Who has ever heard of an omelette without cheese?! And it's an extra charge! My husband had the Greek omelette and said it was just okay but Skillets would have been better than this place. My husband complained about how small and lopsided the tables were because every time one thing was placed on the table top something else would fall off the table. The waiter made a snarky remark along the lines of, "it's either bigger tables or bigger portions". How about just making better tasting food?! This place is way overrated but not surprising since Florida lacks restaurants and culinary artistry. read more

While they have a pretty expansive menu that also includes non-breakfast items, EJ's is definitely a place for all your breakfast needs. After reading a handful of positive Yelp reviews about the stuffed French toast, the decision was easy. Full disclaimer: If you're not ready for French toast on crack then DO NOT order this. This thing is stuffed with bananas, fried and then covered in cinnamon and sugar and more sugar. If you're familiar with churros, then this is what you can expect as a base for the flavor profile. And obviously churros are amazing and this French toast was also amazing. Would get it several times over. My gf went with the skillet which was also pretty good but hard to compete with the sugar dipped/covered/layered, banana filled, blessed by God French toast. read more

Cute little spot in a retail/residential plaza. Ordered the breakfast burrito with sweet potato fries on the side. My dear hubby got the mushroom Swiss burger with SP fries too. The food came out quickly and with a smile. It definitely hit the spot for both of us and we were challenged by the size of those fries. Try them with honey- yummo! Loved the chorizo in my breakfast burrito- added so much flavor. If it weren't lunch time, I would've dove into the banana stuffed French toast or chunky monkey waffle. I always enjoy when I come into EJ's. The food is always freshly made & I love they have the open concept kitchen so you can see what's going on. Parking can be a bit of a hassle and at times you may have to walk a little ways just because of the buildings and the design of the driveway area. The staff is friendly but not always super attentive. The Smoked Salmon Benedict is always a go-to breakfast item for me, although I have also tried their skillets which are pretty great. Hands down the best omelette I've ever had. I got the EJ's omelette, and if you are a corned beef hash fan, this is a must for you to try. The hash brown that it comes with is out of this world. It tastes like a casserole we always have for Thanksgiving except better. So the only downside is that when I'm eating my favorite side dish this Thanksgiving I'm just going to be wanting EJ's instead. Jonathan was also the best server ever! read more

So I went there with my girl friend visiting her friend here in Naples and EJ's lives up to its rating. Besides a little mishap when the waitress accidentally dropped the syrup on the ground and it splashed all over the back of my gf's shirt. I ordered the bacon and sausage skillet, my gf and her friend ordered the banana stuffed French toast and the friends mom ordered the classic Benedict. Very yummy although the portion side was fairly small. The sun was out the weather was awesome couldn't ask for more. Oh might I add they close at 3pm on Saturdays so make sure to set your alarm clock if your hungover from the previous night. I will definitely be coming back, the food is great and the prices are reasonable. read more
