Mac cheese was awesome, the mash potatoes were good. Add some of that garlic butter to it and it's even better. desserts were very good but that toffee cake is amazing. Lobster risotto I can have a whole pot of that. The service was great, our waitress was on point very patient, and had some fun with us. The drinks were made perfect. Expressing martini was the best I've ever had. The inside is nicely done. Ambiance was very nice from when you walk in. The photos on the wall with all the winners was cool. Sat in front and was able to see how the chefs and cooks operate was nice as well. I would definitely come back. I highly recommend for a special occasion or date night.

While we enjoyed the overall experience, several service and execution issues took away from what should have been a special evening. Drink service was slow throughout the meal, and one guest didn't receive a refill until dinner was nearly finished. We were also told a birthday glass of wine would be complimentary, but it still appeared on the final bill. For the food, we ordered garlic butter for our steaks but received large portions of cold butter that hadn't melted. We also weren't informed that the filet already included garlic butter. The prawn appetizer had an off flavor, and one of the three filets was overwhelmingly peppery while the other two were properly seasoned. We ordered two bottles of wine and, due to limited tableside attention, often found ourselves refilling our own glasses throughout the evening. Overall, the food was enjoyable and we appreciated the opportunity to celebrate here. However, for a restaurant at this price point, the service and attention to detail should be much stronger. We traveled four hours for this experience and hope these issues were simply the result of an off night.

From the start, they were attentive, friendly, and really knew the menu. They recommended the watermelon margarita, which was honestly one of the best cocktails I've had in a while--super refreshing and perfectly balanced. We also tried the red snapper special they suggested, and it was absolutely incredible--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Yuran checked in on us just the right amount, made great recommendations, and really elevated the whole experience. It's rare to find service that genuinely makes you feel taken care of, but that's exactly what we got.

It was just disgusting, cold and no taste. The eggs were so dry like microwave reheated. Ugly. We let the entire and we ask the bill. The waiter was kind so we paid only the wine and the tips but our day was a fiasco. So sad.

Barren Seed For a…read moremilestone birthday I wanted to go with something that represented living vicariously through the life of someone who attained a career I once dreamed of. Not saying I'm unhappy at all with my career, but most people who know me also know from early on I aspired to become a renowned chef. Limitations at the time didn't make that possible, but the culinary arts remain a core part of who I am. Entered how impressed we were last year with the Miami Spice menu that on the spot I selected Stubborn Seed as the venue for my milestone birthday. Enter a process, meal, and aftermath made to the horror model of movies like Sinners. Let me start with the reservation. I booked in October 2025 to ensure we would have the place booked for my birthday. At the time we had a placeholder menu which we would adjust closer to the date. I was told then the 6 course menu would not be available. Closer to the date I saw on the website the 6 course menu was indeed available. In reaching out to the team member who took my reservation and contract, she told me the 6 course menu was not available on Fridays. From what you can see in the pictures, it was available. Then we wonder why Miami gets the reputation it does... ...finally we settled on the 6 course meny after all. My party showed up and we had a great time. Most courses were really solid. Notable was the first course, the cured Ginger & Citrus Cured Japanese Yellowtail. Everything kept moving in a definite crescendo until the let down of the main course. The Koji Marinated Lamb Loin was better billed as the "mini loin" as it was indeed incredibly small. I considered summoning Avenger level superpowers to reduce my people in size to the Wasp to make this work somehow. Unfortunately I don't possess such superpowers. If only. But that was not all. Wait for it... ...There was not one single acknowledgment by anyone in the restaurant staff about my milestone birthday. Not a thank you for selecting us. Not a mention by the manager or anyone on the staff. Not even a gesture during dessert. Even the most elegant of restaurants do something. Even a plated decoration acknowledging the occasion would have sufficed. I wasn't asking for Longhorn Steakhouse staff type of fanfare but something would have been adequate. Nothing. But wait, there's more... ...when settling the check I mentioned I had prepaid for the 10 tasting menus ahead of time leaving on premises consumption for payment on site. At the restaurante they looked into it and came back with that the prepayment was never charged. Given I was with my guests that was neither the time nor the place, so I settled the bill with the intent on checking this later. I did and they had indeed double charged me $2,000. Needless to say I had to bring this up to them including opening a dispute with my credit card after days went by without a follow up on where my refund stood. No offense ladies and gentlemen, but this mistake should have never taken place in the first place... All in all, not even they have the power to ruin what was one of the most memorable evenings of my life. Why? because I was surrounded by some of the most amazing human beings who took time to share this birthday with me. I love them and am grateful to have them in my life. That was the main event. The hopes was having a similar amazing experience with the meal at Stubborn Seed would be the icing on the case. It was not. Fortunately for me they didn't add anything, but more importantly, they didn't take anything away. That said, since Michelin doesn't judge a restaurant for portion size or service, I thought I myself would take something away - the veil on a restaurant that is evidently self indulgent and does not and will not care about you. You are not the star, and you never will be. Recommendations: Read "Unreasonable Hospitality" by Will Guidara - you may learn a bit just from the title itself, more if you crack the book open. Attending a Hospitality program somewhere (doesn't have to be Cornell at this point!)

Once we took the elevator down from the parking garage, we were very easily able to find the restaurant. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available, and when we walked in the staff greeted us immediately and gave a quick run down of the menu items to the first timers in the group. The food was all freshly prepared and all of the options on the menu were readily available. We each placed our order and decided to eat inside because it was a pretty hot day. The restaurant was also very clean from what I could see, and of course the food was fresh and tasted delicious, however the steak was overcooked. Usually it is served medium, but this time around it looks like it was well done. Overall, I give this location 4 stars and would definitely stop by again if I was in the area.

To start, we shared the cornbread, and wow--it was absolutely delicious. I would order it again in a heartbeat. For our entrees, my husband got the catfish and grits, which he loved, and I ordered the fried chicken with cornbread waffles. It was SO good. Seriously, I can't stop thinking about it. We shared collared greens on the side and they also were amazing- they were so flavorful! I really can't choose a favorite dish. I would order exactly the same way next time (even if it was too much food ). The atmosphere was also fantastic. The restaurant feels trendy and stylish without trying too hard, and everything is done very tastefully. They also have an outdoor dining area, which we didn't use this time, but it's nice to know it's there for good weather days. My only two very minor complaints: I wish the cornbread came with a little more butter--it was just a tiny smear, so next time I'll ask for extra; And I wish they offered a hotter hot sauce option for those of us who like a bit more spice. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and I'll absolutely be back.

Relaxed, elclectic atmosphere, super friendly service, and food that had us questioning how tf we hadn't come here yet. Here's what we ordered: * Cornbread * Deviled eggs * Mac and cheez * Smoked Chop * Lobster Bucatini Everything hit. The cornbread was incredible, the deviled eggs (our fav) disappeared in record time, and that mac and cheez was comfort-food perfection. The smoked chop my hubs ordered was slightly overcooked, but he still enjoyed it. My Lobster Bucatini was an unexpected win. Rich, light, but so so flavorful. Sadly, we tapped out before dessert, but honestly, every single thing we had delivered. Left stuffed, happy, and already talking about when we'd be back.
