I have been coming here since I was a kid, it was our after church spot and my favorite restaurant in my area! Their whole menu is flavorful, my favorite is the lasagna, but it's so good you have to make sure you get your order in before they sell out! Everyone that works there is very friendly and welcoming, I've never had a bad experience there once! It's a nice place to sit in, just keep in mind it's a mom and pop so not the most spacious, but there is outside seating and takeout available :) I will always love this place, their food has always been amazing and their prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food and service! read more

A relatively small Italian restaurant loved by some of the locals but not everyone's palate agrees with it. There's a reason why I'm saying this so let's begin. I ordered a couple of the local favorites,tomato basil spaghetti and the blackened chicken sandwich.The presentation was pretty sloppy with the spaghetti and it tasted really bland even the basil or tomato couldn't help this poor presentation of a dish.Next I had the sandwich.This was a high and low ride,I say this because you have great spread on the bread,to much bread and some parts of the chicken were hot and cold.I felt like I was eating a really good day after sandwich that I did not microwave enough.Im not being bougie,that's just the way it was served. This past weekend I ordered 3 Large pasta trays, a large poblano chicken salad and bread rolls for a party of 60 and everything was fine except the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta didn't have any shrimp in it at all, which was disappointing. I placed my order with Jose and I was never made known one main pasta dish was going to be missing a main ingredient. If I ever order in the future, I will make sure I open the trays and check them before leaving the restaurant. read more

My favorite italian whole-in-the-wall restaurant (besides lomelis in Gardena). I've been here many times but always for lunch. Service can vary from slow to super fast, depending on how busy they are, however, they have a very friendly staff so you really don't mind because you can see they are really trying. DO NOT CATER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! We had placed our order days in advance, but on the day of the event our food never showed up. We called the restaurant to see what was going on and the owner was extremely rude. He didn't offer an explanation or apology, saying he was very busy, he then yelled at us over the phone, and said we were keeping him from fulfilling his orders. I will never order from this place again, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and will keep our friends and family away from this restaurant. read more

This review is based on their calzones which is the only thing I've had from here so far. I had the "privilege" of being able to try their vegetarian and meat calzones and boy oh boy were they extremely disappointing. Each one had it's own unique disappointing and disgusting quality to it, but let me address what they both had in common first. I will give them credit for their size definitely and taste of the bread, that's the one good thing I will say, but, on the inside there was hardly any cheese that I could notice nor could I even taste it to begin with. There was no marinara sauce inside, they served it on the side like most places traditionally do. That in of itself is not a complaint, but the consistency of it was another story. That marinara sauce was so chunky you basically got 5 big chunks of tomato and a tablespoon worth of sauce. Now I can understand this consistency for pasta or even pizza, but if you're serving a sauce with the intention of dipping, then come on man! Puree that sucker! The vegetarian one was total garbage, it was basically filled with what looked like a grocery store freezer aisle mixed vegetable blend. There was actually carrots and green beans inside which I have never heard of in an Italian restaurant. Not to mention this made the middle of the calzone very mushy. Overall just a bland mess of regret. The meat one was simply okay. The cured meat which I'm assuming to be pepperoni or salami was alright, but there was either meatball or sausage in there as well which tasted off. It (again) reminded me of frozen turkey meatballs from the grocery store freezer aisle. I had tried the vegetarian one prior to this having my hopes up that maybe this one will be good, but nope, every bite was so disappointing that I just gave up and threw it away. I understand that not every place you eat is going to be a slam dunk, but I feel like pizza and calzones are a really hard thing to screw up and this place definitely screwed up one of those things. I cannot comment on their customer service as these were given to me, but given the other positive reviews here I'm sure they're a nice staff. That said, however, I honestly feel I would rather have Little Caesars than come back here again. I want to keep an open mind, but that experience with those calzones makes me not want to risk further disappointment. read more

They have amazing food here. I've had many of their salads, couple of their pastas, several of their sandwiches and pizza. All were excellent. Their bread is amazing, so soft and delicious with no need to add extra butter. I highly recommend this place. My coworkers and I come here often. Thankfully it is very close to work. This restaurant is located in a very small and awkward area. In the city of Baldwin Park, I would have never found this place unless someone had introduced me to it. However, I am glad because I do enjoy their sandwiches here and the prices are very affordable! For less than $7, you get an awesome sandwich and either a cold pasta salad, caesar salad, or soup. Any order also comes with a side of bread (this is amazing...it just melts in your mouth, real fresh!). I've had a couple of their sandwiches....and I have to say that you can't go wrong with any of them. I won't have to rate the ones I've tried because it's almost all the same just different ingredients in each. If I had to choose a favorite, I enjoyed the Blacken Chicken Sandwich. I typically opt the for chicken tortilla soup, it's one of the best chicken tortilla soups I've had. Here, it tastes pretty fresh...something you'd get at home. They offer more than just sandwiches, but I haven't had the chance to try. The restaurant itself is really small, probably a total of 10 tables. You have an option to sit inside or outside. The place is pretty clean...but has very outdated furniture. Also, it's pretty dark inside. The service is awesome here! The food comes out quick, the waiters always stopped by to check on you and refill our waters. If you come here during the lunch hour, it's surprisingly packed. This surprised me because the location is very remote. Overall, I highly recommend this place in you're in the area. I don't think its an authentic Italian place, but they have good food at great prices! read more

My absolute favorite is the chicken tequilla pasta. And my second favorite is the club chicken avo salad. The food has always been very good with generous portions whether I'm dining in or ordering to-go. There have been times when I noticed the restaurant was closed during times where they used to be open so I'm not sure what's going on but I would call or pass by to see if they're open. The chicken was my favorite part of the meal because it was cooked perfect. Also, the server is attentive and makes you feel at home.
