They open at 7 but how early will the al pastor be ready? (The turning gyro/ veritcal pork spit) because it takes time to cook the meat.

Stopped in last year and forgot to give them an amazing review. The food here is amazing, it's fresh, tasty as hell, they give you generous portions and it's moderately priced. This time around I got a queso Beauty burrito that was filled with so much meat rice and cheese. Pictures below show tasty burrito. They have practically every single Mexican meat you can think of. Lots of great hot salsas with a fridge full of soda. Service was great and attentive. Always will come back!

Parking is, well, if you know you know. :( REVIEW: This is a great little restaurant and I prioritize coming here every time I am in DTVTA. Recently, I was at the Rubicon Theatre and needed lunch after a show. This location is located within walking distance of the Rubicon and is usually so busy each time I come! My marker of a good place to eat is usually on how busy they are. :) This recent visit I had a torta (my first, didn't catch the name) and it was outstanding! The meat was fresh and hot and the bun was flavorful! I did note that on my next visit here I want to try the Hawaiian (?) torta! Can't wait to be back! The service is always great each time. Thank you to the ladies who are friendly and respectful and greeted us (and all the customers) with a smile. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

If you love seafood, you gotta check this place out in Ventura. Located right off Main Street, you will find them in the middle of Palm Street. Great ambiance and decor at this resteraunt. They have a bar with TVs so good place to catch sports as we are there for the World Cup. We ordered the grilled malhi tacos and the tuna melt. Both dishes will run you around $20 bucks and THE QUALITY HERE IS SUPERB. Food is very flavorful and fresh. Both items were a 10/10 and can't reccomend enough. Cant wait to come back and try a couple dishes that caught my eye from their menu. Thanks Rumfish y Vino for the great food and hospitality. Till next time!

Ordered the usual Watermelon Mojito and fish taco. The tortilla was extremely oily and flat and smooth unlike any tortilla I've seen. The grilled mahi mahi was very overcooked, dry and almost dusty tasting, I did not finish the taco. Fries were okay. I've been here for many meals but something seems to be different! I usually love the flatbread pizza, the leche de tigre ceviche is not what you'd hope of a true leche de tigre. Dragonfruit caipiroska is on the bland side but love the mojito. Still enjoy the $9 and $10 wines and cocktails.

I've thought about returning several times over the course of the last year, but never did until tonight. Turns out nothing has changed, still good food, still loud AF. This time I had a Taco al Pastor. It was excellent, with soft, flavorful meat topped with onions, cilantro and a slice of pina. My wife had a Fish taco, which was impressively large. I suspect that fish taco was every bit as excellent as my pastor taco because my wife didn't offer me a bite, as she usually does. We had been talking nonstop since we sat down, but when the tacos arrived the conversation ended. All I could think was, damn, I gotta finish this taco before she asks me for a bite. I imagine she was thinking the same thing. What I didn't have to worry about was sharing the guacamole and tortilla chips. The serving size of the guacamole is easily enough for two people. And the tortilla chips, same generous serving size. The chips are good too, not the boring chips one encounters all too frequently at other places. I was also impressed by the Horchata here. Way above average. Creamy and rich AF. If you aren't having a beer, you definitely should check out the Horchata. And dog, they've got all kinds of beers up in here! I mean, yeah, cold local beers and even happy hour discounts! Gaw! So, yeah, I love this place. I just wish it wasn't so freaking loud. Maybe next time I visit I'll wear my noise cancelling headphones. Mikey C says: if it's too loud, you're too old. True dat.

I've been lucky enough to come here before, but the women on the committee had never been. The entire night I heard them rant and rave about how delicious the food was. From the Molitas to the Asada fries to the corn elote, to the salsa ( which we took with us and ate in the hotel room), and last, but not least... The tacos. Oh, the tacos! My favorite was the Pastor, but no selection would be a bad selection. We dined on a variety of delicious tacos while fighting each other for their juicy yet crispy Chicharron. I literally had to take another order to go. They were so good. And you can't have tacos without a little liquor! Frozen mango margaritas and frozen piña colada's flowed the entire night. I would suggest getting a picture as it's generous in size and pours about five glasses. If our call is not for you, please try one of their many Agua Frescas that are made in house. They are truly refreshing and incredibly delicious. Overall, this place can do no wrong. Vibes, food, drinks, and service were all 100 out of 10 and we can't wait to go back.

First off, the parking here is a nightmare. I literally got boxed in and had to ask someone to move their car so I could back out. Secondly, me and my coworker stop here at 11:30am for an early lunch. There is literally 1 other person there who had already ordered and got their meal just as me and my coworker sit down after ordering. We ordered 7 tacos in total... 30 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I finally go up to the counter to see if something was wrong and the guy had no idea about our order and said he was sorry that they had a big catering order. As a former business owner I do understand that stuff happens and a large catering order is good for business but ultimately that isn't the customers problem. Especially the customer that is sitting there at your establishment. Rather than tell us while we were ordering that it might take longer than normal, they don't communicate anything and then don't even address the issue until I go up there to complain. Once that happened the tacos came out in less than 5 minutes which is even more upsetting since this is how fast they should have come out to begin with. The gentleman who I think was an owner did apologize and try to offer some free drinks which I politely declined as I knew I'd never be back again. I hope that this business learns to service the customers properly that are actually dining there and if there is an issue at least takes some initiative to address it on the front side. Most working class people only get a 30-45 minute lunch to begin with so it wasn't cool that we literally wasted 30 minutes just sitting there with no explanation. There are plenty of other good places around Ventura for lunch - especially for tacos. Won't be going back here ever.
