If you're super hungry, you can't go wrong with their asada, pollo, or carnitas burrito. It is loaded with all the good stuff you'd expect in a burrito (rice, beans, cheese, etc) and you won't be left hungry. Their street tacos are excellent. I've only purchased the asada tacos due to preference but based on my past burrito experiences I can say that you can't go wrong with any of the meat selections. I've only gotten their breakfast burrito once, due to them running out by the time they stop at my work location; however, the one chorizo & egg burrito that I purchased was also huge and amazing in taste. I wish they still had this burrito in stock when they get to my work location around lunch time! Lastly, let's talk about their super friendly staff and owner. Make sure you get a receipt. I was leaving the courthouse yesterday and stopped at this Mexican food truck in my way out. Got a steak quesadilla which was really good so for that I give them 5 stars. However, when the woman told me my price, $15, this included a Diet Pepsi, she had me tap my card and pay, which is completely normal, however it will usually ask if you want to tip but she never showed me the payment screen to do so. Anyways, just checked my account and there was a charge for $16.86. Obviously that's not much but that's beside the point. Pretty irritated that someone would give themselves their own tip without even asking. Honestly, I would have tipped them more if I had actually seen the screen to choose my tip. Maybe 5 stars after one good visit is jumping the gun, but the downtown workers were noticeably excited about their food too. Their 3 tacos for $6 is a reasonable deal that is unreasonably delicious. Happened upon the truck right outside of the Sac superior court house for jury duty lunch. So happy to have stopped by because the food was delicious! Ordered an asada burrito and three tacos (3 for $6 what a deal!) Meat is flavorful and juicy, portions are generous. Pickled jalapenos with the tacos added enough spice and vinegar to balance out the tasty, fatty meat. The ratio of meat to rice/other fillings in the burrito was just right and it was wrapped well and didn't fall apart. I just wish I had picked up a spicy version of the salsa. Man this spot is so good! Was meeting a friend for lunch when I showed up they were closing the truck. The guy told me they were done for the day I said ok and sat down looking for another place to eat. Then the guy comes out and gives me a box. He said it was some left over. Great food truck if you're ever downtown! He is almost always parked in front of the courthouse on 9th and G. We all run out as soon as we hear his musical horn playing La Cucaracha haha My favorite torta for sure. He always puts chiles and zanahorias en vinagre on the side (or inside) gives an extra kick of flavor. I was very disappointed to find that the vegetarian burrito that I had eaten contained chicken stock in the rice. Because the burrito is advertised as "vegetariano", one would logically assume that there would not be chicken stock in the rice. I feel that it is false advertising to label such a burrito as vegetarian. El Burrito Sabrozon should either change the name of their burrito, or remove the chicken stock from their rice.
