We came in on September 5th at 4:05pm. This was our first time here. We'd seen they had a 4.6 rating and after eating we can absolutely see why. The food was delicious. One order as a beef enchilada plate served with a sweet tea and a lemon margarita. The other was a crispy beef tacos...both plates served with rice and beans. The rice was perfectly cooked - not over done and no little crispy grains of rice. The beans were as well very good. The salsa served with the chips was very good...not overly spicy but definitely not bland either. The service was well noted from the moment we came in. A nice young lady talked to us like she knew us and was our friends. She said she was working the drive thru but gave us some menu suggestions. She helped with English/Spanish translation which we very much appreciated. Our server was so sweet and even tho there was a slight language barrier it was absolutely not an issue. She came with the nicest smile and even tho we didn't get her name I'm sure she knows who she is. Our receipt says Alicia and I hope she knows that we appreciated her. The portions were big enough that there was enough left over to bring home and eat later. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. Good, affordable Mexican food. Not crazy about the margaritas they are a bit too sweet, the micheladas are good but they do use a lot of mix which isn't bad, but it will make you full. The pina colada was really good. I've had enchiladas, burritos, el marranito plate, carne guisada, pozole, menudo and everything there is so good! The service is always good but depending. If there's a lot of people in the back and you're the only one in the front, more than likely you'll wait a bit but not a big deal. read more

Worst service ! Waited 20 minutes for the lady to open window in drive through then my food is wrong and the lady told me she never wants to see me in the restaurant again !!!!! I didn't raise my voice all I told her is my order is wrong I want a refund because I wasted my break and I was disappointed she went to the owners office and said the owner doesn't want me coming back. I seldom write reviews but this time was my last straw for this restaurant. I would say I'm a repeat customer as the location was very convenient and drive-thru crew is always pleasant. However this past few times I got food from there, there's always something missing or wrong order was given. I gave this place a lot of chances but they kept missing. Drive thru service is always a minimum of 10-15min wait. This time, I had to wait for 20 min just for an incomplete order,l and disappointing food (super salty fajitas). Oh. My. Goodness. I almost don't want to write a review so I can keep this place all to myself but we've tried a variety of breakfast tacos and they're all SO good! Carne asada-- bomb. Chorizo and potato with the green sauce-- probably the best I've ever had in my life. Bean and cheese, add bacon and chorizo (additional charges apply)-- amazing. Other Mexican restaurant tacos with multiple ingredients are usually scooped on top of another and called a taco. El Burrito actually cooks the ingredients TOGETHER to make the flavor reach every bite. I'm a huge fan and can't wait to try the rest of the menu. read more

Food is good, drive through service is awful, I got tortillas instead of tacos called for a second time and I had to call to try to get a refund, they sounded like it happens to them all the time and refused to issue a refund. First let me say that the food is amazing. However, my mother and I are old school and still keep our receipts and balance our checkbooks. So we found that every time we pay with our credit/debit cards and put a tip on it (before I leave the counter I always put the tip amount on my receipt so I know it is the same), the bank statement will ALWAYS show a dollar higher. I took them the proof and they said that I had to call this long distance number. No one answers and no one returns the call. So when we go now, we either pay in cash or if using a debit card, the tip is always paid in cash. read more

Food here is very delicious. The servers are all young girls that are very attentive to your needs. They bring your food out really quick . Their large menudo comes in a bowl that definitely is not a large bowl . It has great flavor just doesn't compare in size to all the other surrounding restaurants. I ordered two tacos with barbacoa and they were nothing but fat. My tortillas were white as hell and tasted like they had barely been cooked. This is my go to for bacon, egg and cheese tacos and their bean and cheese tacos are so amazing. I love the ladies at the cash register, they are always so kind and sweet. First, the waitress spoke no English, she could not understand our order, had to get a translator and we were over charged for food items. My order was Enchilada plate with chopped raw onions on top, which I was charged 75¢ for the chopped oinions and a Barbacoca taco with Pico de Gallo. The Enchilada plate was fine but the Barbacoca taco arrived with chopped onion and cilantro on the side. I tried to ask the waitress where was the tomatos that goes in the Pica de Gallo? She could not speak English and had to get a translator. That waitress misunderstood me also and I told her to just give me Some chopped tomatoes to go in the Pico de Gallo, for which I was charged $1.00. Tomatoes, onions, cilantro and jalapeño is how Pico de Gallo is made, normally. Therefore, I was charged an extra $1.75 for a waitress that could not speak English and could not understand my order. My friend ordered the taco plate and she to was charged 75¢ for chopped ONIONS. We understand most restaurants are struggling due to CoVid, but to over charge for chopped onions and tomatoes that should have already been in the Pico de Gallo is just too much. I will never return to this establishment due to a language barrier and over charged for food items that should have been included with the food ordered. The air conditioner vent was very dirty. My apology to the waitress regarding the language barrier, but I am hurt regarding the service we received for overpayment. I wish I had read the reviews first! read more

The food itself was almost passable for some dishes--the pozole was okay. However, the chiles rellenos were overly salty, the papas locas were undercooked and served with a very lackluster cheese sauce. What could have been a largely unremarkable D- experience quickly devolved into an F experience when they underhandedly added "large party" gratuity to my bill and to my friend's bills, claiming our party had six or more in it. It DID NOT. How did they figure we had 'six or more'? They count any dish your party orders as a person. Got an appetizer? That's a person. Get a side dish? That's a person. Because of this asinine policy, my party of four was charged for large party gratuity. What's more, the prices they are charging are already too high for the poor quality of the food. My bill should have been roughly $24. Instead, it was over $30! read more

I've only ever had the carne asada mini tacos via Door dash, so feel free to take this review with a grain of salt. I have tried 4 different Mexican restaurants and their mini tacos. Of the four, this is a solid second, mainly because the first spot had more toppings . These tacos are really good. The perfect saltiness (however, I do know that I really like salt, so this might be too salty for some.) I also love their jalapeños because they're actually spicy . They offer diced onions, chopped cilantro, grilled jalapeños and grilled mini onions. The meat is salty, and a little crunchy, which I like. The portions are great! The beans have bacon, onions and other things in it. I wish they'd give more than one jalapeño or one lime . The combination is different everytime . I come here often to eat. I was sick and my boyfriend went to get me tortilla soup which I get everytime I'm sick. I was almost mid way through the soup when I got a large piece of plastic in a bite. It looked like it was from a meat or seasoning package it was full of pepper flakes. I called immediately told the lady I couldn't come bring it due to me having COVID. And she said no problem when I'm feeling better to come back for a new one and that she was sorry. Well today I come for the replacement show them the pictures and everything they called the owner and the owner said sorry you needed to come back 24 hours later with the food. I've been to this place a couple of times. Although I did buy a kids taco from here, I did not eat it nor was my toddler interested in it, either. So my husband ate it. He said it was really greasy and nothing more. Of the two times I've been here, I mainly come for the to-go piña coladas. They are so good!!! I mean like so good I'm giving them 4 stars. Decided to try here via DoorDash last night for dinner. I had the Mexicano Plate. It comes with 2 cheese enchiladas, crunchy taco, rice, and beans. The taco was not very good. The meat tasted old and was very mushy. The enchiladas, beans, and rice were great! I really enjoyed the enchilada gravy. My husband had the Burrito dinner. Not sure if it a DoorDash issue but the stand alone burrito forces you to add avocado, which he doesn't like. He got the steak burrito and really enjoyed it. The red salsa is really strange, not bad just not typical salsa. The green salsa was bland and had little flavor. The chips were good. We would probably get food from here again. read more
