3 bean and cheese tacos for nearly $9 is outrageous... for the quality of the taco my money was very wasted.

This was my first time trying this place out. We went through the drive thru. I loved that we were promptly greeted and our order came out right. We had to wait a little bit, which I don't mind when I know we're getting food as it's made. I live chilaquiles and try it wherever it's offered. The sauce on the chips was good. The eggs were cooked well, and I liked the flavor of the beans. The potatoes didn't have much flavor at all so I didn't eat them. All in all it was decent but nothing to write home about. I'm going to be %100 honest.. only reason I went to this restaurant was because it's next to Wayne's Wings and they had a huge wait and we were starving. We decided to check this local place out. As far as Covid procedures, they didn't have much other than social distancing. The restaurant has a shady vibe, we asked the waiter several questions about the menu and she had absolutely no answers. Like, at all. I'm assuming she was new. We were literally the only ones there, so we figured we'd get fast service... we were wrong. We ended up deciding to order Wayne's despite their 1 hour wait, but still ordered at this place since we were already here.. yeah we were that hungry. Service was slow.. I'm serious. SLOW. Took forever to get our drinks about 15 minutes in we got chips and salsa. The food took a whopping 45 minutes to come out.. 45.. minutes. In a place where we were alone. What did we order you might be asking? Tacos, enchiladas, and carne al pastor. I know for a fact I can do all of this from scratch in about 15 minutes at home with no prep. They took 45 in a restaurant that I'm assuming had prepped items. The pastor was actually pretty good. The side (rice, beans, and lettuce) tasted like it was from yesterday. My tripas taco that I ordered crunch was not crunchy at all. BUT had great flavor. The enchiladas they got wrong, so we sent them back and didn't ask for something else since we figured it would take a lifetime. We didn't get any utensils until about 4 minutes in out meal. Over all HORRIBLE service. Main item on the plate did taste great. Only reason why I'm giving it 2 stars. I hope they hire better service. read more

They have 2 breakfast tacos for $2.50 weekday mornings. I spent $14 on 9 tacos through the drive though. They were quick with getting my order out but the tacos were very small and the tortillas were dry and hardened at the ends. The upside was their papa ranchera taco was good. I find it gets soggy at other places before I get home but not this one. Also their papa chorizo was good and not too greasy. read more

Great food, good prices! Had the chiliquiles. Handsomely covered in cheese, it was delicious. It came with chips that the place had handmade. They give you a giant bowl of chips, and two different styles of salsa, plus one on the table for a total of three. The red sauce was akin to a tomatoey pico de gallo salsa. It was tangy, obviously made fresh with flecks of cilantro floating around in it. Yum! The green sauce was a tomatillo sauce, pretty dang hot, I think it was powered by sorano peppers? The tortillas were made there fresh, but weren't quite big enough, but they were warm and fluffy. The refried beans were awesome! A smoky flavor, incredible stuff. The potatoes were crispy and delicious. The service wasn't too hot. It took an inordinate amount of time to flag down a waitress. My drink went empty through most of the meal. I got my silverware a few minutes after I got my food. I sat in the booth, and it was quite uncomfortable. The springs were busted or something. It was very clean in there! read more

Since I don't hand out 5 star ratings like STD's at the local frat bar, there is one thing you should know. This place is sooooo damn good. It's tucked in a old shopping center that almost looks deserted. The inside looks held together with duck tape and card board. Tables are scattered around and none of chairs match. The specials up on the chalk board need to be translated because I have no idea what a chuccan or chuca or what ever they call pork with red sauce is. FYI~Specials run $5-$6 including a drink! Apparently "white people" become mute when they eat here because all I could do was grunt and point. What ever the hell I ordered, it was FANTASTIC. First they bring the best chips and salsa I have ever eaten in my life. Warm crunchy chips freshly made. The salsa was flavorful with a nice kick to it. Everything from the rice and beans to the tortillas are simply divine. I have no idea what pork with red sauce I ordered but it was so damn good. I would have licked the damn plate clean if I wasn't with clients from work. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It is the best Mexican food I have tasted in a very long time. We live around the corner from this restaurant and have seen the changes in management. At this time, the place is well run and the great food and service speaks for itself. The best part is the cook will prepare your food as you order it--if you want your eggs soft, that's how you get them. If you want your tortilla toasted, that's how you get it. Went there for the first time today, 14 Feb. The food was pretty good. Didn't care much for their chips, too thick and lard tasting, but entrees were ok. The problem is the menu is confusing and the staff are not trained well or rude. My husband and I both ordered under the section that said the meals came with rice and beans. We asked the waitress how much the charge was to substitute charro beans for refried beans. She said nothing, we could have the charro beans. When the food came, my husband got a large bowl of beans, I got a small cup. He got a plate of rice and I didn't get any. So, I asked the waitress why it was different. She just said that the bowl came with the fajitas but only a cup came with the quesadillas. His cost more, so I thought ok. I then asked about my rice. She said she didn't think rice came with mine. I told her that according to the menu, it did, but I didn't really need it anyway. When we went to pay, the cashier charged me for the beans that I did get. I showed her on the menu that it said they came with my meal. Maybe she can't read English.... because she insisted that they didn't. I speak Spanish, and heard the waitress tell her that she told me that they went with it. Didn't faze her, she insisted that I pay for them. I did, but told her that she lost a potential return customer and gained some extra "bad advertising" for that little cup of beans. Just beware if you go there. You might end up paying for more than you expect because you can't believe the written menu or the wait staff. lol read more

Great food but that girls who work there in the morning are sooo rude, When the manager isn't there! On several occasions they don't open on time in the mornings ! Today I waited outside the door knocking and the girls just looked at me, I just had a question if they still opened at 6 and she just ignored me. When she opened 15 min later no apology and when I asked for manager she just said "not here" I was shocked at how rude she was.
