New ownership since the last time I stopped by a few years ago, but happy to see someone move into the spot. More of a classic panederia now vs the modern Mexican that was there before, but still very good. The new owners are definitely "mom and pop", very hard working and very friendly. They didn't have what I was looking for, which were the mini churros with dipping sauce for my office mates, so I tried a few other options and everyone seemed to love what I brought in. They gave me a card and said I can pre-order anything I wanted, including the mini churros sans dipping sauce as well as other mini versions of their regular pastries. Will definitely be back!

Try the chicharrón tamal amazing (not pictured took it down!) but the pork tamal is also delicious

These tamales are pretty good had one of chicharrón it was amazing. Look at the masa to ratio it's made just right! I'm very picky went it comes to tamales. Usually eat tamales made by my mom or the family. these tamales are just as good ours They also make them with hojas de plátano (banana leaf) y hojas de maíz (corn leaf) like one in the photo. Also got a cafecito de olla fresh and hot. Also they make their own pan dulce in house bomb cochitas. Different styles of pan (Mexicano, Guatemalteco, and Oaxaqueños) dulces y galletas (cookies) they had some, solid rosca de reyes (kings bread) had a slice, wow that was also good.

Today I finally tried their Oaxacan Chilaquiles, made with organic corn from Mexico, homemade salsa verde, and two eggs, and they were absolutely delicious! If you visit, I also highly recommend the Goki Mocha, made with rich Oaxacan chocolate. It's been my favorite drink there for years. The service is always wonderful, and you can tell this place is built with so much love and heart. The family is incredibly kind, and I love supporting their business. If you're in the area, definitely give Goki Cafe a try!

Brightly lit interior with a simply designed aesthetic. Many folks were relaxing and enjoying the conditioned air. While the shop served plenty of in-house made coffees and teas, off to the side was a refrigerated section brightly displaying bottled Chaparittas tangerine soft drink and Tehuacán mineral water. I decided on ordering an Oaxacan tostada which came completely smothered in black beans, cabbage, queso fresco, and salsa verde. It was refreshing and made for a quick, light snack while also being deceptively filling. While waiting for the order, I noticed their NY Cookies which came in two kinds. One was simply the regular chocolate chip variety, while the other came packed with white chocolate chips, ate de membrillo (quince cheese), and tejocote (hawthorn fruit paste). I decided on the second one and enjoyed the unique flavors of the bits and pieces, even though it was very sweet. All in all, would definitely come back to dine and chill out.

We tried the Ube & Black Sesame Roll, Banana Blue Corn Blueberry Pistachio Bread, Pistachio Cardamom Roll, and the Spam Tocino Cheese Scone. The Ube & Black Sesame Roll was easily my favorite. It had the perfect balance of flavors, wasn't overly sweet, and was something I'd absolutely come back for. My second favorite was the Spam Tocino Cheese Scone, which was savory, flavorful, and full of childhood flavors. The Banana Blue Corn Blueberry Pistachio Bread was my least favorite, mostly because the texture wasn't for me, but the flavor combinations were still interesting and unique. The pastries are definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and creativity make them worth trying. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. It's located inside Blossom Market, so parking is easy, which is always a nice bonus. I'll definitely be back for another Ube & Black Sesame Roll.

Love the freshness and taste; hate the decoration execution. I digress. It's a 180 here at TW. The owner addressed my concerns and worked with me on a Mother's Day cake. They kept it super simple which is I believe is best.
