My go-to spot for bionicos ever since I was a kid. I was craving it this past week because I haven't had it in a few years and it was just as delicious as I remember it being. Their fruit are always super fresh and ties so well with the cream, granola, and raisins. It comes with strawberries, cantaloupe, apples, bananas, and papaya but I ask for no apples. So so yummy!! read more

The good of this place is their fruit is fresh and variety of selection is decent . The bad is they are unorganized. I paid for a bionico and they had no record of it. Tried giving me a smaller one and charging me twice. Which was frustrating! Thank God I found my ticket!!! read more

Been coming here since I was so little mind you I'm 41! love this place always so clean fruit so fresh everything is always made fresh! Services is always so amazing specially the owner he is such a wonderful man !! His wife was such an amazing lady. I truly miss seeing her beautiful face.! Today I went in and I got my strawberry Diablito. It was so delicious. I can't wait to go back tomorrow for another one.!! Also the they make the best biónicos !! Love this place !! read more

A friend of mine told me they have the best bionicos. I had to come verify Omg they do! #1 it was $8 for a small. Not happy about it. But definitely got what I paid for. My family has been enjoying their service for the more than 10 years and we are a fan. They are thoughtful on how they serve their food and have always been consistent with their quality. I wish I had saved all the photos I took of the many mango smoothies, Bionicos, and Esquite/Elote En Vaso/Corn in a Cup I have ordered. My cousin and I wanted to get our drinks on and so we came here. This place is a wonderful fruit store near the corner of Valley Blvd and Monterey Ave. I did enjoy the smell of fresh fruits as I entered the store. Been here before for the agua frescas they usually have it on display by the window but they had it in the back this time. The owner was nice and made our frescas out of Dragon Fruit. In fact he told us he put a whole fruit in each of our huge cups. I could tell when I took a pull from my cup and noticed the creamyness of the Dragon Fruit fresca. Really yummy! Visiting my friend in El Monte, she brought me to La Fruta Feliz to pick up some fruit for her parents. We walked in and looked at pictures on the wall of what they had until someone saw what we were doing and handed me a menu in English. We ended up getting a chamango, a magoneada, and a bionico. When asked the difference between the chamango and magoneada drinks, we were told that they had the same ingredients but that the magoneada was frozen. Anyone who knows me knows I love tamarind so when I saw the addition of a tamarind straw, I got really excited! I had the chamango. The chamoy (basically a savory and spicy sauce created from fruit that has been put in a brine and the resulting brine is seasoned with chile powder and the final product is chamoy) and the mango mixed together were a perfect combination. Stir in that tamarind straw and you've got yourself a winner! For more of a slushee-type drink, go with the magoneada. Same thing but frozen chips of ice that make it refreshing. We also had the bionico for dessert. I enjoyed the combination (strawberry, cantaloupe, papaya, banana, apple, granola, raisins, shredded coconut, and sweet cream) but the sweet cream was a bit too runny for me. I will say that I normally dislike raisins but I did eat them in the bionico. It was the first time I'd ever had any of these items so I was thankful for the experience and would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone! read more

I come here often for their raspados (shaved ice). It's $3 for a regular or $5 for a large. The raspados here have real fruit in them. My current favorite is orange. This place is cash only, but there's an ATM available inside. Also this place charges no tax. The offer fruit salads, smoothies, natural juices, and many other things. Come by and try it out. P.S. There is no seating available or bathrooms. read more

This place is like heaven... I don't know where to start!! We don't live here, but every time we come to visit, we stop at this place. Two days ago I ordered: *The coconut with lemon and chilli is so refreshing. *Kiwi beverage - sweet and sour, but perfect for this hot weather. *Fruit with lemon and chilli. The owner/manager of "La Fruta Feliz" was very unprofessional when assisting me with my order today. He seems to be a young man about 25-30 years old. I asked for extra lemon and tajin for my fruit and he looked very upset and bothered by the request. He proceeded to cut me off every-time I tried to speak and it was very uncomfortable. His negative attitude towards me made me ask him to speak to a manager. He proceeded to tell me that he was the manager and that he owned this place. I was shocked because as a manager you should care and provide the best service to your customers especially those who come frequently. It's very upsetting to say that he was very unprofessional and that I will not be returning to this location as long as he is in charge. read more

My friend and I were at the DMV for hours on a hot day. My friend told me about this place and we decided to go since it was a couple streets away. This is my friends favorite spot for chamangos. We went at around 4:30 pm and it was pretty busy. The place is by the valley mall but it's pretty hidden. I had never seen it and I've been to the valley mall a few times. They have a huge parking area across the street but it is shared with all of the other business's. We didnt have any trouble with parking. The place itself is really small. It is not the cleanest place I've been to which is the only reason they get 4 stars. They sell fresh fruits, a variety of drinks, raspsados, bionicos, and much more. Their prices are very reasonable. I got a raspsado for only $2!!! What I loved about this place is that the raspsados actually taste like authentic fruit!!! Unlike the ones that the corn man sells (which are like $1.50 now) and taste like nothing but artificial flavors. They even add real fruit at the top. I read some of the reviews and everyone raves about their bionicos so I'm definitely gonna try that next time!! Customer service was great!! The place is owned by a Mexican man, very sweet man. The only thing I didn't like was when we got there I'm guessing he was in the back because there weren't any workers inside the place. There were like 6 customers waiting. Also, like I said before the place isn't very clean. Definitely stop by and try them out if you're in the area!! You won't be disappointed!! read more

I love this place however today they failed me, by the way not the first time it happens. I love their bionicos the cream is super good. Anyway I always order bionico no papaya and some how it always ends up getting in there. As you can see they put it inside again. So if you order something and don't want a specific fruit inside check before you leave. read more

The produce on display was rotten... I got a small bionico...$7 it's so small they barely put any of the cream and maybe like 3 strawberries!!! THE SPOT for bionicos! Why? Because they put crack in them. Gonna throw a party? They have different sized trays for your bionicos pleasure...these are always a hit when I bring them anywhere. Fruta's smoothies are excellent too. Fresh and plentiful.
