Just want to said thank you Sergio and Kevin to in helping me in my jeep 2007 compass I know is a old car but is my firts car I ever have and I want to keep it till the end you fund a new customer my issue was that I got some work done I my jeep and that lead to more issues and the big o tires shop can't deal with so they loss a Custumer with 2 cars and lots of friends well Sergio and Kevin look at my jeep and told me was it was wrong and they told me it was going to be 950 dollars so o said ok no choice when I got to the shop they explain the repair and show me the old part and they told me that the part was cheaper that what they quote me so I end up paying 700 something dollars they could easy charge me the 950 but they were honest and the jeep is running good let's remember is 19 years old and origina transmisión and Eng so I just have to be easy and everything will be ok thank you Sergio Kevin and Rambo the dog also nice to meet Paul as well this place is amazing thank you see you in a moth to do my oil change and see you next Saturday to check a noise I my other suv thank you guys read more

I wanted my Tahoe differentials, transfer case and transmission serviced and they were able to do it same day (on Saturday) I had purchased all the supplies to do the job myself but then decided I didn't want to lay on my back to do the service since I don't have a lift . Anyway gave them a call and pricing was very good for the job. No gouging from this place. They did notice my rear transfer case seal was leaking and was able to take care of it during this service. Transmissions are quite possibly one of the biggest repairs you'll ever have to make especially when you care about your vehicle. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2WD truck that had 250,000 miles on the original 545RFE automatic transmission. Needless to say it lasted a good long time. It was a daily driver that saw a lot of miles in the freeway and lots of towing (enclosed trailer weighing about 3500lbs) I literally called 8 different transmission shops in the Bay Area and out of all of them Sergio not only had the best price but the best warranty (3 years unlimited mileage) being that I plan on keeping the truck for many years to come it was the obvious choice. Although he doesn't have the largest shop in town, he certainly made sure that my vehicle was save and secure during the tine it was in his shop while the transmission was being replaced. It took a few more days than we had anticipated only because the shipping company ran into weather issues and roads were closed from where it was shipping from (Midwest) but once it arrived it was done within a matter of 5 hours. I have never been so impressed with customer service. I originally took my van to a different transmission shop. It was actually the one that does a lot of advertising. They told me the transmission in my van was toast. I needed a new one, it could not be repaired. I called El Camino transmissions and Sergio answered my call. I told him I was price shopping on how much to replace my transmission. I called several shops. I was getting several bids. Something in Sergio's voice, the kindness, made me feel comfortable to talk to him and explain what was going on with my van. He asked me a few diagnostic questions. He said that with the answers I gave it sounded more like a repair not replacement. He asked me to bring my van in and let him look at it. I decided to let El Camino transmissions do a diagnostic on my van. I needed to leave my van there overnight. Sergio was so nice, he drove me home. The next day Dave called me and said my transmission had a solinoid block and needed to be serviced. At 1/3 of the cost! Saved me two thousand dollars! Dave told me that my van was second in line to be fixed and we still needed to wait for parts. It was already Friday. I expected it would be done by Wednesday. He called on Monday and said he was finishing up and I could pick it up in the evening. It was soo fast! Usually most shops take longer than they promise. Dave and Sergio was much faster. I asked Dave why the other company said I needed a replacement of my transmission. He told me that most transmission shops do not want to take the time to work on and diagnose transmissions. It's much faster to just replace the transmission and they make more money. I am so grateful to have met such an honest company. While my transmission was being repaired I also had El Camino transmissions repair my broken motor mounts on the engine. The price was extremely reasonable. They also do all repairs and maintenance. My van was in shambles, it seemed to be my transmission that stopped my vehicle from completely running, thankfully I came across this shop right away, the personal was very nice and easy to talk. I was asked to bring my van in after an over the phone discussion, the price seemed reasonable and like I was told times before the vehicle needs to be present for a diagnosis, mind you I was over a hundred miles away (Dixon) at the time, so I was taking a chance and had it towed. My automobile was fully restored to operating condition and was kept until I was able to pick it up. He actually went out of his way to help me which is more than I can say for most shops. Not only was my transmission fixed but my motor mount, starter and other areas of my car that needed replacement. My van needed more attention than I knew, the parts were all shown to me and I was asked before each procedure was started, I honestly felt comfortable with my car in their hands. I had my car transmission swapped out with another used one that I purchased for my Lexus. After calling a few places, I chose this shop because the owner, Sergio, seemed to have experience with this particular transmission and sounded personable and quoted reasonable price for the job. The first swap did not work out due to used transmission being defective and Sergio recommended that I swap it out with another one and he offered to charge only half of original charge, understanding that it is costing me a lot of money. I have a vintage 1959 Cadillac that wouldn't upshift from Drive 2 to Drive. A mechanic friend of mine recommended Sergio and his shop El Camino Transmission and said he was great for working on older transmissions. Because of the age of my vehicle I feared that I was probably going to have to pay big bucks for a complete rebuild. I left the car with Sergio for two hours so that he could drop the transmission oil pan and determine the transmission condition and what the repair would take. When I returned, Sergio took me for a test drive and the car was fixed. Apparently just a stuck modulator valve was the problem, and I was only charged for fluids and labor. This guys are the worst i took my highlander here because it wasn't shifting right. Sergio told me it was a solenoid inside transmission he opened up tranny charge me for the filter, which according to Toyota dealer it doesn't have to be replace ever, then he also charge me for new Toyota oil and the solenoid. Then he told me the it wasn't the solenoid it was the computer so i had to pay for the computer but thats not the bad part the bad part its that he used the same transmission oil my highlander had and he charge me for a new one and i knew he used the same oil because my truck was running crappy so i took it to the dealership the next day and i asked them to have my oil tested because i wanted to see how old it was. So i paid the just because i wanted to know if this guy was honest and the dealer said the oil was old and need it service asap he also install a aftermarket filter which i had to replace again to the original so i did service and the car was running nice again never ever i will take my car here again Sergio is money hungry he acts makes people thinks he is a honest guys but he ain't be careful people don't be sweet talk by this guy.
