This is the best auto repair shop I've ever been to. I had taken my Hyundai Kona to the dealership twice to trouble shoot an issue where the car would randomly shutoff while driving. Hyundai said they couldn't recreate the issue, so they essentially did nothing and charged me an arm and a leg for diagnostic fees. The owner at T&N plugged in his diagnostic tool, identified the issue as a drive shaft sensor. He replaced the sensor, provided pictures, and topped off all my fluids and had the car back to me within 24 hours (this was Friday to Saturday). Deserves more than a five-star rating. Tran was extremely helpful with scheduling an appointment when I came in on a busy Tuesday morning. I explained that my muffler was making a rattling sound, and he quickly identified that the heat shield had bent and was tapping against the muffler. He took the time to show me exactly what was wrong underneath the car, bent the shield back into place, topped off my fluids, and sent me on my way--all at no charge. I have been coming to T&N for a very long time, but this will be my very first review. I have had issues with cylinders misfiring, lights going off on the dash that have lead to strange issues that other repair shops have failed to diagnose. Time after time, T&N has found the issue, and fixed my car in the same day that I have dropped it off. I feel I have a special connection with this shop, because my wife's car has had issues on several occasions, and the shop knowing she was pregnant and with three rambunctious boys, took care of the problem quickly so that she could get back to attending all the appointments and busy life she has each week. And not only does T&N have excellent service, they have very good prices. I had to get my brakes done. A shop in Campbell quoted me $750 for just the front. I went to T&N, and they did both back and front for $1200 or so. I would have spent $1400+ at the other shop. I have brought my car in and left in such better condition. Fluids have been topped off, OEM parts have been used, and the packaging shown to me to verify it. When the work is done, I leave the shop and I am just so filled with gratitude every time. I don't feel like I over paid, I have always felt like the prices were right where I expected. So, you have many choices on where you get your car serviced. But, let me save you some time and just tell you to head on over to T&N and see what I have been talking about. It might be a little busy, but it's because others are finding out. No one ever wants to deal with car trouble, the first thought that comes to your mind is it's going to cost a lot! I had a slight issue with my car turning on after I put gas in it. It wouldn't turn on. I gave it a moment and I was able to get it going again. I also noticed my car making a noise when turning the steering wheel left and right. I wanted to deal with these issues so I searched Yelp since I moved to this side of town and needed a new mechanic. All the reviews seemed great and it was pretty close by so I sent a quote request and outlined my car issue. Tran messaged back fairly quickly and asked further questions about the issue. He recommended an appointment date for the week and I agreed with the day and time. I dropped off my car today and he said it would be about two hours of assessing the issue and he'd let me know. After a couple of hours I received a text from Tran who outlined the issues he found. He also sent me pictures of what needed to be repaired. I asked him for a quote to get everything fixed and I felt his pricing was fair, so I agreed to have everything fixed. He messaged me again and said my car was ready. I had dropped off my car at 11am and everything was completed by 4:30 which I thought was great! When I arrived to get my car, Tran went over everything he repaired and even showed me the parts that were replaced and where they were made.The parts were made in Japan which I liked since that's where my car was originally built. He walked me out to my car to let me know how to continue maintenance moving forward and what to look out for. You can tell Tran really cares about his work and customers.
