We came here on probably the hottest day in NYC, when it was 101 degrees out, and I'll be honest,…read morethe AC was on, but it was barely doing anything, so we were just sweating as much indoors as we were outdoors. The actual area itself is quite cute, and I like the way the interior was decorated. It has a very minimal vibe, but it really suits the place and the neighborhood. We got an Iced Americano, a Mortadella Scallion Pancake Sandwich, and a cocktail called Lovers Quarrel. The drinks were honestly pretty good and very much needed for the weather. The cocktail had this airy tart taste that perfectly matched the vibe of the drink. The sandwich itself was good, however it was extremely oily. The actual taste of the sandwich reminded me a lot more of Indian Omelets than Scallion Pancakes, but regardless, was still tasty, just wish it had less oil. They typically bring the drinks and food over to your table if you decide to sit at a table, which makes it a lot more convenient. The people working there were also doing an amazing job, so kudos to them. Overall not bad, maybe I might come back when it's cooler for the dessert items.

A welcome addition to the area. This bakery has a wonderful selection of fresh breads like…read moresourdough, baguettes, Italian, challah, Pullman loaves, croissants, cookies, and cakes. They recently started selling sandwiches and breakfast fare next door. I walk my daughter to school in the morning and the aroma of freshly baked bread is addictive. I almost always have to go in. The one thing I cannot resist is their ham and cheese croissant. It's huge and about $4.50 a pop. It's buttery and flaky and absolutely perfect... especially since Nick +Son moved to greenpoint. Nothing like a freshly baked croissant. They also deliver which has been a good experience as well.

The cafe sells INCREDIBLE food. The breakfast sandwiches are beyond delicious. They customize ur breakfast sandwich as well & the employees are very nice & welcoming. The smoothies are DELICIOUS!!!!! They only have 1 size which is probably the only bad thing about this place. Then there's the bakery on the corner of manhattan av and Montrose. The BREAD sold there IS THE BEST BREAD U HAVE EVER HAD!!! It's fresh all the time ( very soft) & they have a variety of breads. They also sell coffee and cakes. Fresh bread is constantly coming out due to it selling out so u may have to wait 5 minutes for a new batch) I give Tasty Bread Artisan a 10/10.

I honestly don't know how anyone could not like this place. Amy is wonderful and kind. I got a cake…read morefor my son's birthday, and she promised me her vegan cakes were delicious. She was not wrong! My son has an egg allergy, so we decided on a vegan chocolate cake with a dairy frosting. She made a beautiful chocolate cake with the beautiful flowers on top. The cake tasted like a regular cake, and you couldn't tell it was vegan. It was just incredible. Amy's chocolate chip cookies are my favorite, and I also really enjoy her rosewater scones. The day I picked up the cake for my son's birthday, I also got my mom a slice of vanilla coconut cake which I froze for her visit 2 weeks later. She loved her cake, also. There is literally nothing bad you can have her, and her new partnership with Gratitude Leaves is amazing. Gratitude Leaves also has beautiful flowers, so you can get your cake and flowers at the same time.

They do have maybe 4 tables and some seating by the window for people to have coffee and a pastry but that's not what they are really set up for - no wifi and no restrooms for longer visits. They do have cute mugs ans cups and the place looks vintage and sweet. The coffee was just OK, lots of competition in Brooklyn but I don't have an overview on the cakes or pastries - something to try next time. For just the cafe, it's a-ok. Service wasn't at the table you go up to the counter and place your order and they make it for you

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My GO TO easy breakfast, lunch, takeout and delivery…read morespot for years. I've ordered delivery and eaten at the counter and the quality and speed of service is always the same. This place has been around forever and is always packed in the morning !!! Love it They make traditional LATIN food, tacos, tostadas, salads, camarones y todo in a casual manner. Sandwhiches handhelds and small plates- but theyre also an actual BAKERY!!! You can get custom cakes here, traditonal latin pastries like guayaba y queso Conchas and those sugar cookies for dipping. They have alot of cakes, pies cookies and customized cupcakes to choose from. They have a smoothie and pressed Juice window as well My favorite go to items here are: Chicken tacos with EVERYTHING ON IT French Toast (comes w powdered sugar and fruit compote) Grilled Chicken Sandwich w extra mayo Tres Leches Cake Guava y Queso Pastry

My family and I are always satisfied with our order. Try the steak Torta sandwich for the win! I ask for mine without picante (not spicy) but some would say that's a crime! lol Anyhoot most dishes are good, just stick to the more authentic menu items, because let's be real - ordering tenders and fries in a Mexican joint is just pointless.
