Hunting for a breakfast burrito on Easter Sunday was a challenge. The other two spots we went to were closed, but we discovered this gem. Large restaurant with lots of seating to accommodate big families. Felt like I was transported out of Santa Ana right when you step in. Music was great and perfect for that happy dance you do when you eat good food. Plenty of tvs around to ensure no one misses the game. Even the cook in the back has their own tv. Menu is expansive and all of it sounded so good. Beer and some cocktails too. We played it safe due to our last night drinking escapade and we really wanted a dang burrito. I wanted all of their ceviche options. They have some breakfast items that are available until noon. We got the breakfast burrito, shrimp taco, and fish taco. The lady that took our order recommended something about the tacos to change them with cheese etc. I heard mini quesadilla and I trusted her. We ordered to go and only waited around 10 min. Came home and it was like opening up a present. The breakfast burrito was good. My gf liked it way more but she was also the one that needed a breakfast burrito. The tacos I got were bomb. Don't skip the shrimp. That was my favorite one. Definitely will be back to try their other options. I want to sit down next time and enjoy the atmosphere as well. read more

Mariscos Centenario had been on my bookmarks for a long time because my bf loves ceviche and theirs had good reviews. This is a true mom and pop Mariscos restaurant and it's pretty big. On Fridays and Saturdays they have mariachis that come sing at your table as well as karaoke so it was really loud but provides a very specific atmosphere. We split a Michelada which tasted great and was very refreshing. Their salsa is spicy and we enjoyed the chips. My bf is very picky about his ceviche and we both enjoyed the Ceviche Mixta Lupita. The fact that he liked it says a lot. Fresh seafood is mixed with mayo which sounded iffy to me but it was an interesting way to eat it, and I appreciated the seasoned cucumber slices on the side which I used from time to time instead of chips. The seafood was plentiful and fresh. There weren't too many tomatoes which I appreciated. I recommend sticking to the seafood here. We split the Carne Asada con Camarones Platillo Mexicano which came with a large piece of steak, about 6 grilled shrimp, rice, beans and tortillas. Everything lacked seasoning and flavor but once we added salt, salsa, and wrapped it all up in the tortilla it was a lot better. The Empanadas de Camaron were not good at all. The green salsa served with it was awesome, but there was hardly any shrimp filling, the inside was a bit undercooked, and the shell was filled with grease. With many other Mariscos options I would probably go somewhere else first but if we find ourselves in the area again I would be ok coming back. read more

Waitres very attentive, great customer service, frequently checking if all of our needs where met. Restaurant very spacious, but needs an update on interior asap. This place does ceviche and seafood right. It's kinda hidden away in an industrial area, next to a Wienerschnitzel but don't let that scare you away. Inside was spacious and authentic looking and the server who helped us was so friendly. She had a smile the whole time we were there and made sure everything was ok. The cool drinks were so refreshing, I'm definitely gonna crave this more during summer. The ceviche we got had octopus, shrimp and crab with some sliced cucumbers on the side and avocado on top, although I do think the crab was imitation crab based on the taste, color and texture. It was seasoned well - perfect tangy lime with cilantro aromas flowing through..mmm! The stuffed fish fillet was very unique. It was a fish fillet wrapped around cooked shrimp, octopus, crab and some vegetables. It came with salad and rice on the side and the chipotle sauce that was served with it was probably the best chipotle sauce I've tried (I haven't tried many authentic Mexican sauces before so it's not hard to impress me in that field, though). My bf and I came out stuffed and we can eat quite a lot. For the quantity the price was reasonable and with the kind & fast service it is super reasonable. It is very unprofessional, whoever runs establishment, it is rent for private parties but you have people coming during the party and doing karaoke. Then the person running karaoke was super rude telling the band to leave quickly because they need to start karaoke. I don't recommend this place for private events, the food was not that great. I was looking for a place in Tustin that serves a good pair of entrees and micheladas. Coming inside this place was half full. It was bustling, loud, and patrons at the bar seem to be having a good time. With that said, I was looking forward to some good Mexican meals. I ordered the "Fajitas Pollo" ($13.50). When it came to our table I was hoping it would be served sizzled but, it wasn't. When I saw the skillet I could already tell I won't be in for a tasty meal. The onions, red and green peppers looked limp and soggy. The good thing is the chicken, it was tender with decent portions however, it wasn't marinaded well. Unfortunately, this choice tasted bland, and using the chile habaneros sauces provided on the table didn't help much for its flavor. Included is of course the flour tortillas refried beans and rice. I don't think this entree is their specialty, since this place is called Mariscos meaning seafood. The other order we made is the "Pescadillas" ($12). It's four pieces of crispy fresh fish tacos. The added crema and lettuce off the side gives the tacos a bitter and sour cream taste. Overall, the fish tacos tasted okay, they weren't bad at all. Now, for their "Micheladas" I ordered it in Modelo beer. It was heavily seasoned with tajin around the beer mug with a slice of cucumber. At $6.50 this drink was totally savory and it paired well when we started off with complimentary nachos. Our server was friendly, but when we asked to redeem our Yelp check-in offer for a free agua fresca drink, she said that they were out. It was unfortunate because it was an offer to choose a horchata, jamaica or tamarind with a meal purchase. Mariscos is okay but I did find their micheladas well worth it. read more

I would do a NEGATIVE five stars if I could. I paid 19 dollars for a custom burrito that included grilled shrimp and fish, but the shrimp was ice cold and there was barely any fish in it. I asked for no cheese and it appears they didn't care or made the dumbest of mistakes. The size was also no that impressive. The red sauce tastes just like ketchup and was disgusting. The green was barely okay. Then there's the restroom. What a pigsty! The door handle to enter is broken, the outer and inner door are filthy, the toilet seat was missing and they had no soap! DO NOT COME HERE! Of course they have an attractive gal with all the bells and whistles in the plastics surgery world working here, so there's no shortage of hard up guys. read more

Was in the mood for some seafood and saw this place had new owners. I decided on the cocktail with shrimp, octopus, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and of course Clamato. The shrimp were pretty good size and were tasty and delicious. The octopus was a bit more sparse, but the few pieces I had were tender, but small. I always compare any shrimp and octopus cocktails to La Sirena Azul in Los Angeles. This cocktail was just ok. Nothing wowed me and it was very basic and straightforward. When I walked into the restaurant it was completely dead, with the family chit chatting under the television. The cashier yelled my order twice before someone got up to make it. They handed me my order then said that they want to add more fresh octopus. I think they honestly forgot to put the octopus in the cocktail.
