I also ordered the shrimp tostada it was presented nicely and I thought it was good. Many of these restaurants have the same concept but the style and it's taste is different. I heard good things about this place and I decided to give it a try. However, I do not know if my friends and I went on a bad day, because the overall experience was atrocious. The only reason why I'm giving them one star it is because I cannot give them any less. Service was horrible, food was acceptable but drinks were substandard. We order a frutichelada that clearly states on the menu that it is made with mango, cucumber and watermelon, nevertheless it was served without the watermelon. When I asked why, the server said that they haven't put watermelon in long time because it changes the flavor of the drink, and that the frutichelada is not their best. It is also important to mention that we waited over an hour to get our drinks and we have to place the order twice because our original sever didn't even place the order. After our drinks were served, we have to wait 45 min for one plate to arrive and extra 20 minutes for a tostada. By the time the tostada was served, the tostada was soggy and the other plate was cold. Due to Covid the place is not busy so they cannot blame the unacceptable service to it, they only had 10 occupied tables and 3 servers. When we mention that the drinks were bad they didn't even offer to fix it or help us in any way. read more

Such a disappointment when a new restaurant opens up in town and it SUCKS. From the drinks to the food and the service it was all bad. The shrimp tasted like the frozen kind you thaw out from the packs at the grocery store. I've been to some seafood restaurants and never has the shrimp quality & freshness been that bad. It was bland and as if it had been thawed out in the fridge for a while. Another customer across from us complained about the shrimp as well. They use the very same shrimp for the micheladas and the shrimp dishes. Their micheladas look tasty but you're better off saving your money as they lack flavor and don't taste near as good as they look. My husband's are so much better. My complaint about their service was not the waitress' fault. They were understaffed and didn't have enough waitresses to serve. It seemed like one waitress was covering half of the restaurant. It took a long while to get our drinks. Our drinks came out maybe 5 minutes before our dinner. My husband ordered another beer and since that one waitress was running back and forth with orders it took again a pretty long while to get his beer. I don't anticipate this restaurant will be open for long. We won't go back. read more

We went as a party of three friends. Got there around 6:30ish and we were immediately greeted and seated as we entered. Service: very good attentive servers. Really on top of it. Drinks were filled and water was topped up without having to flag anyone down. I'm happy to say the guy accommodated and lowered the vol n came and let me know he had done so. Very much appreciated that nice gesture that really made our time hanging out better. Thank you for this. Menu: Huge menu with lots of selection. It's like 5 pages long with nice pictures so u kind of have an idea of what to expect ur meal to look like. We were seated in the bar area at the tables so it was hard to really read the menu due to dim lighting but we managed. Food: I got the seafood in a foil packet thing which had mushrooms and seafood, more seafood and salad and a heaping portion of rice along with soft hot tortillas for $17. Very worth it. Flavor was good. I'd say the mushroom stuff with seafood in it was strong by itself, but when u combined it with rice, salad in the tortilla it was REALLY REALLY GOOD!! Friend got the seafood enchiladas n really liked them. Other friend got the chicken tacos combo deal n liked it as well. Overall food was good. You get your moneys worth as portions are huge! Seriously it's worth ordering one dish and sharing. Two people can easily be fully satisfied and happy sharing one dish. I took mine to go. Good quality hot food that gets to you in a reasonable amount of time. Wait time wasn't very long given there were quit a few people and place was busy. Atmosphere: bar area was ok. Seats were EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE!! they have these cheap rickety plastic chairs that you can fall thru if u don't sit down gently or you're obese and overweight. Mine was broken but it held and i didn't want to make a deal out of it. Sitting at the bar if you're not drinking isn't ideal as it's just too loud and the flashing lights are very distracting so much so it's hard to really enjoy a conversation and be social. It gets to u after a while. I had to swap seats with my friend because it was starting to become too overwhelming for him with the lights. Last thing I want is him having a seizure seriously speaking. Once we swapped it was ok because he wasn't facing the flashy lights. Next time I'd like to sit in the dinning area. No flashy lights and the seats looked upgraded to leather metal ones. Not some cheap yard sale chair. Decor: interior decor has a beach vibe with sailfish, and different marine life. Nice simple decor. Nothing too fancy. We went this morning craving a Sunday michelada and I'd heard that there's were the best. The waitress was helpful in assisting us with which to choose. The one she suggested had octopus in it and both my daughter and I said we don't want it with octopus. She said they could make it without. As we were beginning to eat the top shrimp and cucumbers we ran into octopus. It spoiled the whole drink for us I send it back with only about 3 sips taken out of the drink. I showed her the octopus's tentacles that I pulled out of the "no octopus" drink. And when she brought the tab she still charged us for it. I think if you're gonna get the order specifically wrong then the customer shouldn't have to pay for it. Horrible Customer Service! We came in today with a group of 8 people & were told it was an hour wait & we were told to wait outside (which was fine). More people started to show up and after waiting an hour I went to check up and see if the table was ready or there was more time we needed to wait. I walked up to the girl that was seating people and asked her if the table was ready and said there was 5 more family's in front of us waiting to be seated. Which is not right because we showed up BEFORE all the other family's were there, Not to mention the girls attitude and response to a simple question. The Food is great! The Drinks are great! It was our first time here and everything was delicious. To drink we ordered micheladas I got the Tostiloco michelada and my boyfriend the one with shrimp both were really good. I got the aguachile tostada witch was made really good and had plenty of shrimp and it was at a great price. Ok came back to try their food! Honestly it sucked! I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, came with salad and rice! My salad had a long hair in it. My husband ordered a shrimp tostado no onions-his came back full of inions. When I let my waitress Victoria know and showed her the hair she looked at me as if I was crazy and asked if I would like her to remake my plate. Do you think!!!!
