I ended up sneaking bites of it because it was SO tasty! Perfectly crispy and flavorful. The fries were amazing, also crispy and beer battered, with the perfect amount of salt. My daughter enjoyed her coco loco shrimp, and the dipping sauce was the perfect accoutrement. My husband ordered the SoCal burrito, which was the biggest I have ever seen! He let me have a few bites, and that chipotle lime sauce was divine. I ordered the fisherman's roll, because I love a good lobster roll. Sadly, this one just didn't hit home for me. The flavor was too fishy and overpowering, and I only ended up taking a few bites of it. BUT I sampled everyone else's food, and I can attest that the rest was simply amazing! The bad parts are the lumpia filling is too little for the amount of wrap used. The end result is a thick dough ring around the fillings. The amount of pork is too small for me a $14 dish where the bulk is be white rice. Since I'm prediabetic, I had to skip the rice. Some sort of vegetables and half the rice would have rounded this dish and make in it better. Not enough value in my mind. If you like to tasty pork belly with a lot of rice, try this place.
