Came to this area to visit my family and they mentioned this restaurant. Looked on yelp like I always do before I go spend some money and the reviews weren't the best but I figured I'd try the place still. Walked in around lunch time had our table quickly and soon drinks along. I have to say the service was on point. The food was also great tasting. Very happy and impressed with the great food and service. I'm from Los Angeles and was glad to come to Texas and enjoy myself some great service and great food therefore this restaurant gets a 5 star yelp review in my book! I then watched her speak to another employee about the request while looking toward our table. When she returned with the new check, she dropped it on the table without saying a word and walked away. This was not simply a case of slow service or a misunderstanding. We were treated with a level of rudeness and disrespect that was completely unnecessary. A customer asking about a menu item or a military discount should not be treated as an inconvenience. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that we have been coming to Guaco Taco for years and have had good experiences in the past. We know the restaurant is capable of providing good food and good service because we experienced it just days before this visit. Unfortunately, this particular visit left a very bad impression.
