Tacos - al pastor, carnitas, Pollo, barbacoa

This unassuming taco joint is located inside a gas station across from the soccer field but we know in TX that some of the best tacos are inside of gas stations. This place is family-run and they are the sweetest and most accommodating couple. During the breaks, you may also see the kids helping out, but note the hours are limited also! The tacos are always packed with meat and very reasonably priced. We ordered an assortment of tacos with me loving the Pollo and carnitas while my husband enjoyed his al pastor and barbacoa. They have a variety of other dishes on their menu that we still have yet to try but I bet they are just as good as the tacos!

California people will not eat tacos inside of a gas station. It's weird, but this was actually decent. No stomach ache or anything. The tacos are the best way to go. I thought the Al pastor taco was bomb and the birria has good flavor. I wouldn't recommend the nachos unless you're going to eat it there. They got super soggy because I got it to go. They put shredded cheese and melted cheese on it - chef kiss. The lady who worked there is nice and she gave me samples of the meat to see if I liked it. I'm still flabbergasted that all of this is in a gas station.

Happened to pass by this super casual spot, got curious about all the rave reviews, and they're correct! Note it's located within a Shell gas station. I tried a breakfast burrito; it was hefty, loaded with eggs and potatoes. Even though it was a bit pricier, totally justifiable by the size. Check them out if you have a chance!

I love tacos, especially from gas stations and trucks. I have been sleeping on this location, as I don't pass it regularly on my way into Arlington. Let me just tell you, it is absolutely worth going out of the way for. It is worth stopping at even if you are not hungry. Best tacos in Arlington? Maybe. Best chicken tacos I have found there, for sure. This used to be a subway counter inside the shell station, and the folks who have taken it over are doing awesome things. They deserve their 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10 out of 10. And I have only tried two of their tacos, the asada and the chicken. First off, the price point is fantastic, but the amount of food you get for your money is a STEAL. I ordered three tacos and there was enough meat on them for at least 5. But quantity doesn't matter if the quality isn't there. I tortured myself by picking up food to go and waiting until I got to work. The smell of it was amazing. At a stop light I had to open it up and take a peak. When I finally got to it, I was rewarded. They were tender and flavorful and HEFTY. The chicken was not dry at all. Lots of fresh onion and cilantro, and juicy limes. I got the green salsa, as that is my preference. It doesn't bring the heat but is flavorful. I may get both next time and go Christmas style. There will absolutely be a next time. Tacos every day!

Added onions and cilantro. Cebolla y cilantro. Nice combination with arroz rojo and pintos.

Delicious carne asada tacos. And lots of meat. The lady working there is the sweetest. I have to try the caldo de camaroñes next time. A couple of tables inside a gas station but a flawless restaurant. Try the horchata. Burritos are HUGE!

Birria tacos were delicious. Staff was extremely nice. There is a little spot to sit so we had our tacos inside the gas station. We will definitely be back

Wow DEFINITELY worth a review . This unassuming authentic Mexican grill is a must try! Food was so fresh and flavorful...the owners were extremely nice and informative , they even gave me a free sample! The birria tacos are the best in Arlington with lots of meat inside ...huge generous portions and don't get me started on the green sauce SO GOOD. This is my new lunch spot

I have driven past the Shell gas station at Fielder and Green Oaks right across from the park countless times. I was craving a spicy fulfilling breakfast on the way to work and stopped here. I'm glad I did. The one drawback to their location is that this Shell is not bright, clean looking and organized like QTs and RaceTrac. But the bacon breakfast taco and the chorizo breakfast taco were both delicious. The portions are generous and cooked to order. I selected the spicy red sauce over the mild green sauce and was very pleased, it has a nice kick to it without overwhelming the flavor of your food. I am most definitely going back. This is one of those hidden gems.

We are from out of town. Looking for a good Mexican restaurant. we found an authentic Mexican food family run great food good price.

Great food, not much ambiance since it's in a gas station. There's a few tables but it's a get it to go eating experience.

This Mexican hole in the wall appears tiny from the outside. The parking lot in this mini-mall was…read moresmall, but I didn't have any trouble finding a spot. The restaurant reveals itself to be larger once you're inside. It's a cozy dining experience and I liked the cluttered decor of Mexican tchotchkes and liquor bottles. The owners were very kind to reserve tables for our large group and arrange for us all to pay separately. I tried the cheese enchiladas and they were very filling - they came with Spanish rice and refried beans on the side. I was tempted by the taco salad... some fellow diners ordered it and they were serving size was enormous! Most dishes here seemed well suited to having enough leftovers for the next day.

I found this place on Groupon. You could pay 6.00 for 14.00 worth of food. I looked at the reviews…read moreon here. I saw that Elite Yelpers recommend this place but, Iwas really undwelmed? I will tell you why. The Chips were stale. The salsa was fresh, a little too hot and lacked flavor. My Enchiladas Pablanas were dry and lacked flavor. The Refried Beans were flavorless and the rice was undercooked. I tried my Cousin's Queso. It tasted like Tostitos Cheese Sauce? I tried her Chicken Flautas out of curiosity. I like the crispiness of the Tortilla but, when I took a bite, a chunk of meat was clumped together! It's like it had been previously frozen? It's nice and clean inside and they had a good crowd. The Manager and Waitress were really nice. I called the Manager before, I went to ask him how the Promotion worked. He knew exactly what I was talking about. I really appreciate that even though he had a thick accent. Despite the great reviews, I would not recommend or return. This the only restaurant that I've had such a bad experience. I lost my winning streak of finding good restaurants. I hope my cousin has not lost ,her respect for me. Lol!
