I was expecting this place to be bomb but it was just OK. Kinda expensive for what I thought going into. Nothing to brag about.

Wait time can be a bit longer than they tell you so order ahead if you can. Otherwise great tacos and pupusas.

Mariano's Hacienda Ranch is my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant. I've eaten fajitas all over Texas, and…read morein my opinion they have the best fajitas in this galaxy. No exaggeration. Everything starts with the fire-roasted salsa. That stuff is ridiculous. I'd pour it over a 2x4 and eat it. Smoky, fresh, and addictive. I have to stop myself from filling up on chips before the food arrives. The fajitas are the star of the show. Tender, flavorful, and consistently excellent every single time. This is one of those places where you don't need to study the menu. Just order the fajitas and thank me later. The service is always good too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps everything moving without hovering over your table. If Mariano's ever changes their fajita recipe, I'm prepared to testify before Congress. Until then, this place gets an easy five stars from me.

Mariano's Mexican Restaurant…read more My bestie treated me to lunch, and we instantly agreed on Mexican food--our favorite! Mariano's never disappoints, and this visit was no exception. We started with the complimentary chips and salsa. They offer both a house salsa and a hot salsa, so there's something for everyone depending on your spice preference. We spent so much time catching up that we were probably talking more than eating at first, but our waitress was incredibly patient and attentive throughout our visit. We've been here multiple times, and one of the things we always love is the atmosphere. It's lively, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax with friends. Of course, we had to start with Mariano Margaritas, and let me tell you--they do not play around! These margaritas are strong, flavorful, and honestly one is enough for most people. For lunch, I ordered the beef enchilada plate with rice, charro beans, and a beef crispy taco on the side. My bestie went with the fajita combination plate featuring shrimp, chicken, and steak, along with rice and charro beans. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Somewhere along the way, we decided a second round was necessary and ordered house margaritas. Between the great food, amazing drinks, and catching up with my bestie, we had the best time. By the end, we were stuffed! In fact, I went home, took a nap, and woke up devastated because I realized I had forgotten my to-go box at the restaurant. Those margaritas were definitely doing their job! Great food, great service, strong margaritas, and a fun atmosphere. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to come back!

The restaurant reveals itself to be larger once you're inside. It's a cozy dining experience and I liked the cluttered decor of Mexican tchotchkes and liquor bottles. The owners were very kind to reserve tables for our large group and arrange for us all to pay separately. I tried the cheese enchiladas and they were very filling - they came with Spanish rice and refried beans on the side. I was tempted by the taco salad... some fellow diners ordered it and they were serving size was enormous! Most dishes here seemed well suited to having enough leftovers for the next day.

They were stuffed with tender meat and were not excessively greasy. They come with onion and cilantro and three different salsas. Kind of embarrassed to say I ate it all but I couldn't help it. The service is great, and the Chicano art painted throughout the restaurant gives the whole place such a cool, authentic vibe. Got pretty crowded by the time we left around 2:00 rising to a little bit noisy noise level. We got a guacamole side, taco plate, chicken chimichanga, and blue Cancun drink. The food was not great, and we were all soaked with sweat by the end of our meal. I would definitely call ahead and check to see if the AC is working before going here anytime soon.
