I got the deep fried beef tacos. The shell was soooo good. The beef literally tasted like it was cooked then put in the freezer then warmed up to serve. Literally had 0 taste . The food here is really good. I like the beef and cheese enchilada dinner. No indoor seating, everything is carry out.

Stopped in for an early dinner on Saturday evening. First time here. Place is very casual, and located in a strip mall. The parking is good. Service was good. We were greeted and invited to sit where we liked. We were 1 of only 2 tables in there, which I didn't really think much about until after our visit. Menus, then drinks came out right away. Our young server was friendly and knowledgeable. The horchata came first and it was the highlight of the meal. Large and deliciously spiced -- poured over ice -- it was very good. I'm only giving 3 stars because the food was just not good. My biggest issue was with the "Fiesta Fajitas" -- it comes with a mix of 5 different proteins (steak, chicken. Shrimp, chorizo, and ribs). It came out with a ton of meat on the plate -- a mountain of it! But it was all extremely overcooked. To the point that all of the meat was leathery and jerky-like. And the shrimp were rubbery. It seemed they'd all been marinated in the same tangy sauce as well. This resulted in a n expensive platter piled high with tough and dry meat that had no distinct flavor. Each of the proteins varies only in texture. So an entree that had potential to impress with "fajitas done 5-ways" ended up being a massive disappointment. read more

I would consider this place to be takeout only. Yes, there are a couple of tall tables, but I've never seen anyone actually eating there. Just waiting for their carry out. That said, the food is good, very good. A couple of our favorites are the coyotitos (flour tortilla chips covered in beans, guac, sour cream and jalapenos), six pack of crunchy beef tacos, bean tostadas, chicken enchiladas suiza. Ken likes their Mexican-style tacos, especially the 'mixed' one (chorizo plus beef) and the tamales (which they regularly sell out of on the day they're the special). Their guacamole is the best I've had in a long time, and, even better, consistent. Their salsa is spicy and obviously homemade. My one beef is with their hours of operation. They are not open on Sunday. They do not open until after noon on Saturday. And I swear they close when they want - we've driven by before on a Saturday night at 8:30pm, and they were already dark inside. read more

Great authentic Mexican takeout! I had a lot of people recommend El Coyote Loko before I tried it. All of the recommendation were positive, so I knew I had to try it. This is a take only restaurant. When I went into the restaurant there was only two small cocktails round with no chairs around it. The food was great! I got the super burrito with steak. This was by fair the best steak in a burrito I have ever had! The burrito also came with refried beans, Mexican rice, and a can of soda. My wife got the taco salad and really enjoyed it. This is one of my absolute favorites for take out! There is not room to eat inside. They have 2 high top tables with 2 chairs if you absolutely must but we much prefer to take out and eat at home. My favorite are the beef tacos with the hard shell. The hard shell is made in house and not the kind they have at Taco Bell. They are perfect and not too greasy. We also like to get the steak and cheese quesadilla and always order ala carte. Don't like the beans and rice with the meal anywhere not just here. My husband loves the beef and cheese burrito and the guacamole is pretty good too. There salsa or taco sauce is home made also. A complete hole in the wall but not to be missed. read more

Not authentic. I got a grilled chicken burrito combo they charged me 15 $ and when I got to work (3 minute drive) I opened it and it was already cold. They gave me a tortilla with chicken and cold lettuce. No where on their menu does it mention that there would be lettuce in this burrito. read more

Some of the best items to order are: - Steak/Chicken Fajitas - Mexican Tacos - Beef Burritos - Chicken Enchiladas The salsa is also amazing. I generally stick to some combination of the above, and it's always great. The consistency of the taste of the food is incredible; it literally tastes the same now (if not better) as it did 10-15 years ago. Not only do they have chorizo, but they also have QUALITY steak, chicken, pork, beef and a few other options that unfortunately are slipping my mind as I write this review. If you're a fan of a more traditional, street style of taco then you're in luck. Their street tacos come on two medium sized corn tortillas loaded with the meat of your choice and topped with fresh cilantro and white onion with a wedge of lime on the side. They also offer the more common, Americanized flour tacos in soft and hard varieties, as well as numerous other Mexican dishes. The waitstaff is nice and very patient if you have any questions about the menu. Don't be afraid to ask about a menu item. There is no pretense at Coyote Loco. Like others have stated, there are a couple small tables, so this place is primarily a takeout only establishment. It's cinco de mayo one should have someone to answer their phone while another takes care of the line going out the door. To say the least, my Irish temper was flaring. Perfect lunch or dinner carry out place. There are four small tables if you get there early enough you can score a seat. Otherwise plan on taking it with you. You can get a lunch with pop for $7ish. I had the bean burritos and chips and salsa. The lunches come with rice and beans. Wow. Super fresh, perfectly spicy and the beans are the perfect consistency.
