My girls and I have been going to Las Delicious for years and years. There are several locations around Denver and we are lucky enough to live up the street from one of them. It is still a family owned business and the servers and management have been there forever. When my oldest daughter was in middle school a certain bus boy had a major crush on her and we would tease her constantly. Now he is a server and when she comes in he knows exactly what she wants, cuz she eats the same thing every time, and before she even orders its in the oven!! The food is great and very authentic. Its not the tex-mex style of Mexican food that so many people think is "real" Mexican food. You can get chicharones and guacamole tostado's. The green chile is AWESOME and the salsa, well we practically drink it out of the little bowls they bring it in. We cant leave without taking home a bucket of green chile and a bucket of salsa. The prices are great too. They still have an al-a-carte menu where you can get a smothered burrito for under $4.00. That's great, especially when you are feeding a family. We have been going to Las Delicias in Parker for 15+ years. We had not been in a few months and now I know why. Tonight we had the worst service ever and the worst food. My husband and son ordered Fajitas for 2. The side plate of beans and cheese was clearly for 1 order. When we asked for more...we were charged $1.85 for another scoop of beans and $1.70 for more cheese. I mentioned it to the cashier and all he could say is I'm sorry! I don't know if anyone there understands English! Will definitely be our last visit ever! There are way too many other good Mexican restaurants around. read more

I was so disappointed to see so many people complain of the service at Las Delicious in Parker. We have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and have never had bad service. Once in a blue moon they have had an off day, slower or not so hot food. The place is just the way we like. We have always been treated with respect and been served good food fast. We will continue to go there for as long as they are there. Don't judge this place by people who have only been once or like to be catered to. Took my family to lunch here today. For a Friday afternoon it was pretty busy, luckily for us though they have quite a bit of seating. We sat down and almost immediately our waitress was there with some chips and salsa and to take our drink order. The house salsa was very good and to quote my wife it was "the only thing that matters right now". My wife ordered a horchata which she though was just ok and I have to agree, nothing to call home about. I ordered the pork tacos. They were ok and came with refried beans, lettuce and avocado. The beans weren't bad either. My wife order the carne asada. Which was just ok as well. Finally we got my son a taco from the kids menu. It taste about the same as a regular beef taco that you'd make at home. He did love the rice though. All in all the place wasn't bad. The service was good, quick, and friendly. The food is fair the prices ok. This service is consistently the worst ever. Most of the staff don't speak English very well or at all. The wait staff is rude , you may get a drink and food just don't expect them to bring anything extra or come back to the table to check on anything. If you need a refill or a napkin forget it. Horrible food and service!! We were not greeted by our server for over 10 minutes on a slow evening. She walked up ask what we wanted and left. Never even had a chance to order drinks... I just moved to Parker and am in search of a good Mexican restaurant and I assure you this is not the place. When I am in search of a Mexican place I base it on the green chili and beans. Both were terrible! The green chili had no pork and almost a creamy texture. The beans were going bad. You can tell they were going bad because they had a sour taste to them. UGH! Eh... The food is okay here, just okay. The service is horrible. I went here last night and ordered the gaucamole tostadas and I was amazed at how much food you get for under $6. These were pretty good, nothing special but pretty decent. It was my boyfriend who had the bad experience. He ordered huevos rancheros and before he could finish ordering the waitress rudely walked away. He wanted scrambled eggs and instead got runny over easy eggs. After sitting there for a good 5 minutes some random waiter came over to ask if everything was okay and he told him this wasn't what he wanted... so then about 5 more minutes go by and our less than friendly waitress comes over and doesn't say anything just looks at his plate. He then told her he wanted scrambled eggs and she sighed and grabbed the plate and walked off. Then another 10 or 15 minutes go by until he gets his food again, I was done eating and had to sit there and watch him eat after he had to watch me eat. Horrible Service, Not even an apology or anything. The place seemed kind of dirty. The chips were good but the salsa was almost too spicy to eat. The one thing I am picky about is my Spanish rice and this place has the best Spanish rice in I have had in Parker. I always get the chicken chimichanga that comes smothered in a green chili sauce, sour cream, and guacamole. This is the only place I have found that does not charge extra for the guacamole either. We really enjoy this restaurant and are never disappointed by the food and fast, friendly service (we've been eating there well over ten years). It's not typical Tex-Mex fare, which is a big plus. Their green chile sauce is excellent (very important for a Mexican restaurant) and so are the fresh chips and spicy salsa brought free to your table and replenished when they're gone (we always end up eating waaaaay too much of them!). Not only do they have a nice variety of menu choices, they also have an a la carte menu, which makes the tab lower and the caloric intake a bit more manageable (gotta start watching the belt line sometime, eh?). I love their beef burritos smothered in green chili and my wife's favorite is their chile rellenos. Their guacamole is very tasty, as well. The atmosphere is by no means elegant, but it is clean and the booths are roomy and comfortable. Sitting at a table in the middle of the room looks a bit squeezed, so we always wait for a booth. I think I mentioned the service was fast and I meant it. Since we enjoy Mexican food, we try every other Mexican restaurant that opens up in and around Parker and they never stack up to Las Delicias, the best in town for good Mexican food at a reasonable price. read more
