Came here with friends before Top Golf in Montebello and ordered 2 fish tacos and a bean and cheese burrito. The food came out in a timely manner and it was decent. My friend paid to be honest so I am not sure how much everything was but I came during Taco Tuesday so there was a deal. I believe it was $1.25 for one taco? The burrito was packed with the perfect amount of bean and cheese and I believe it was less than $5 which I thought was pretty decent! The taco was pretty good! There was a good amount of fish to toppings ratio which was good. We ordered through a window and there was outside seating out front and on the side of the restaurant. Depending on the time of day and the amount of people, you should expect a wait. There was one person taking orders and he would stop between customers to make/distribute completed orders. - There is plenty of street parking. - My friends all seemed to have enjoyed their orders. We absolutely love their Fried Fish or Shrimp Tacos. We go on Sunday for the Fish or Mondays for the Shrimp because they have price specials on those days. Super friendly workers and owner. You can add radishes, lemon from outside the window. It's their signature item. Parking is ok and Bob's Freeze is right next door. On a hot sunny day, this is the place to go for a refreshing meal of ceviche, tostadas and fish tacos and ice cream for dessert next door. I give it 4 stars because they really need to update their Price signs. They have huge advertisements all over but they don't honor it because they've increased their prices. Walked with the fam here today and had some shrimp and fish tacos as well as a coctel de camaron and octopus . It all was tasty and fresh, we loved it. So much so that we ordered more tacos! The red salsa and the chiles toriados were very good as well. Only thing I wasn't too fond of was the fact they tried charging me an extra dollar for a cup or ice I was going to use for a jarritos I bought from them. Other than that, every thing was great. I was only going to get ice cream, but I noticed that there was a deal that day for .99 fish tacos. I decided to get one to try it. Best decision I've ever made haha. I went back to get a second! The fish was really fresh and crispy. It came with the usual cabbage, white sauce, and pico. The hot salsa that came with it complimented it really well. I love spicy foods though so this was perfect, but if you can't handle spice I would get a different salsa! I can't wait to try the shrimp tacos. A woman who was there at the same time said that they were really good! The staff was extremely friendly! This last time I came on a Wednesday, needless to say their fish tacos were regular price $2.49. I ordered 8 fish tacos and a asada sope. The sope was okay, not great, not bad. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the fish tacos. This time the amount of fish in the tacos was very little. Just one nugget of fish in some of the tacos. Highly recommend the fish tacos! We usually come for Taco Tuesdays. It used to be $1 per taco, and now it's $1.25 each. Still a great deal overall. The peppers are marinated nicely and go well with the food, and they have radishes to pair it up with. They have a few tables for customers to sit, and service is friendly. One time I came when it was cold and raining, and they offered me a warm coconut drink to keep me warm while I wait. I thought this was very thoughtful of them! Unassuming taco stand hidden between some buildings. They have deals on certain days of the week, including discounted fish tacos on Sundays. The food is a slight step up from your typical chain, but isn't necessarily my favorite. I still prefer more cozy sit-down Mexican restaurants, as stands like these just seem kind of unsanitary to me, but keep in mind I'm a germaphobe. Super delicious fish tacos. Fresh crunchy batter and slaw. Colorful pico de gallo topped with sour cream and home made sauce I'm guessing. No need for tapatio. But can't forget to mention the yellow pepper in the side. You must get the yellow pepper. I'm not a local but there's a gold line station right in front of this place.
