We recently moved into the area and we love El Farolito. The food is delicious and fresh. The Carne Asada Tacos are to die for!!! They have so much flavor and the fresh cilantro on top.... YUMMY!! The service is great and staff is very friendly. We love them so much that we have ordered carne asada tacos to go for a party we had recently - so worth it!! The salsa tastes fresh and delicious, especially with the warm tortilla chips. Guacamole is very good as well. My father-in-law (a very picky Mexican food eater) raved about his meal - he ordered the chile rellenos. Would highly recommend!! Please do not confuse this with the other Mexican restaurant in the shopping center (it has a grocery attached). This one is in the middle of the shopping center with a green sign!! We're in from Kansas and found this place on Yelp. The food was good but the service lacked a little. We were happy to hear they had white cheese queso and it was very good as well. The food cane out fast and as stated before, was quite good. Even my super picky daughter liked her burrito. We'll come back next time we are in town. read more

The food is good but it can be very inconsistent, from salt level to seasoning to ingredients depending on when you visit.

Very disappointing. Salsa lacked flavor and tasted like plain tomato sauce. Taco salad was smothered in liquid orange cheese reminiscent of high school cafeteria taco salad days. Street tacos were dry and bland. Service was good and staff was very nice. The server noted that I didn't eat very much of the salad and asked how it was. I politely told her there was too much cheese and that I didn't care for it. Unfortunately, I was charged for it anyway. Understandable but not the best customer satisfaction move. read more

I have traversed North America, and have partaken of much of its poor excuse for Mexican food. We have been there only 4 times and every time we 've had excellent service its very clean and very good tasting food , the only bad thing I would say its expensive specially the tacos they re the smallest tacos I 've seen for the money, two bite tacos for 2.50 The worst would be the Salsa it doesn't taste like home made but for the chips is good The best would be the shrimp Cocktail its really good and the Carne asada its just yummy but just be advise portions on meat are small (they do a very good job covering the whole plate with rice and beans) read more

Service is amazing. We have eaten at many Mexican restaurants but this one is the best by far. We eat here once or twice a week and the employees are very personable and friendly. They recommend food to us and we have yet to be disappointed by anything. Food is always hot and delicious. Our kids LOVE the rice! The salsa is the best. First. In reference to Don T. There are two Mexican restaurants in this shopping center. The one that is attached to a grocery store is NOT El Farolito. This is the restaurant in the MIDDLE of the mall. The food is tasty, if not mind blowing, and they have a daily lunch special that is hard to beat - even with fast food. Service can be a little slow at times but overall the experience is a good one. I would recommend many of the other "Mexican" restaurants in Bentonville area. read more

This is another family favorite because it's close to home and serves good food. The service is very good, the food is really good, and the atmosphere is nice. We have visited several times, and will continue to visit this restaurant. The only improvement that I would suggest that would get the final star is that they would at the very least serve beer. Solid food, large portions and attentive service. Fajitas had alot of oil in the pan but were good. Child's chicken strips were actusl breast meat and not formed parts. The place needs to be deep cleaned, looks worn out. read more

This is a simple Mexican restaurant with a menu very similar to another local restaurant, Acambaro, but the service here is much better. They are always quick and polite. I think the previous reviewer, Don T., is talking about another Mexican restaurant just a couple doors down. El Farolito does not have a grocery store, but that one does. I would hate for a potential customer to not try El Farolito based on his review of another place. read more

@Don T - this restaurant doesn't have a store next to it. You must be thinking about Estrada's. We've been to El Farolito a few times and the other rave reviews it ranks seem pretty fair to me. I've been in there once where they were slammed and got shorted a stack of tortillas but everything else was great and the food has always been fantastic. read more

Cheap. Tasty. Local. Menu is broad enough to satisfy many preferences. They have some authentic and spicy dishes as well as more 'Americanized' options. This is my go to restaurant for cheap eats or casual dinner with friends. read more

I would not recommend this Mexican restaurant. When I got my food it was cold. I sat without a drink, because I could not get the waitress attention. There were flies that I kept waving away from our food. Very disappointed expecially after reading all the great reviews this restaurant had. read more

What a wonderful surprise! We have been trying several Mexican restaurants in the Bentonville area and saw that El Farolito has recently opened. We thought we would give it a try and we are so happy we did! We were greeted promptly and cheerfully and escorted into a bright and pretty dining area, with themed tables and murals on the walls. While looking at the menu, we were served much better than average chips with a small pitcher of delicious salsa, which we could then pour into individual serving dishes. Our entrees were served quickly by the excellent and attentive waitstaff and everything was very good. We had chicken enchiladas served with a yummy sour cream sauce, a cheese enchilada with a tasty chili sauce and beef tacos. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasted great! We will be back! read more
