    Chorizo breakfast burrito
    Alexis A.

The breakfast burrito grease was INSANE! The burrito was DRIPPING in greasey red oil from the chorizo. Idk who they are trying to kill but DO NOT eat their chorizo burritos. This could legit send anyone into a coma. Not to mention I had to clean all of this up bc it was DRIPPING in my car and floor.

Very clean, fast and affordable. I am vegan so these are not many choices without animal products. They do have fresh made to order juices. I got a veggie burrito which had whole beans and rice was quite good when pared with their variety of salsas.

Tacos $1.99 on Sunday and Tuesday a lot of meats!

Finally been waiting for something like this in our area and 24hrs woohooo! Def going back to try more.

    Cali Burrito
    T T.

The Cali Burrito is huge and absolutely delicious--packed with flavor and super satisfying. Pro tip: don't skip the red sauce from the salsa bar. It takes everything to the next level!

This is a big portion for an affordable price and it tasted really good. The only thing is I asked for red salsa and they gave me green, other than that Definitely go here. Food is amazing and it's open 24 seven and they serve breakfast burritos all day.

Threw it away I can't even open it I am just so disgusted.

Since our server knew my friend since he was a local, he was extremely friendly with us! We had the option to sit down and there was a generous amount of seating, we ordered our food to go because we were in a hurry but I would LOVE to go back there and go in to depth more with their menu because it was absolutely huge. I ended up getting some tacos and a drink when my friend had gotten something else that looked BEYOND delicious! Once we got back and set everything up it looked soooo good and I was right! My tacos were absolute perfection it was an overall great experience and I cannot wait to go back and enjoy another great time and get more options!!! 10 stars!

We talked to our friends and agreed that 6pm would be a good time to meet for dinner. My girlfriend called and they didnt' have any reservations available for 6pm.I called around Noon to see if we talked to someone else we could make a reservation at 6pm. They were very polite over the phone. The didn't have any reservations at 6pm, but they had a table for 4 at 6:30 pm if we didn't mind sitting outside. I took the reservation with the hopes we could get seated earlier. Their outside and inside dining rooms are about the same size. We arrived at 6pm hoping to get seated early and by 6:05pm the entire party was here and we were seated 10 minutes later at 6:15pm. We were seated a the first table out the side door against the wall. This worked great at I was able to put my package on the grown next to the wall, it was out of the way, but I could still see it so I didn't forget it. The fans were on over all the outside tables but ours. It was cool/warm enough to be comfortable in slacks and a T-shirt. No sweater was needed and I wasn't sweating either. The ice water was really nice. Soon as we were seated they laid us out menus. Shortly after chips, salsa, and bean dip were delivered. Then after a little bit the waters arrived. Our server asked for our drink orders while we looked at the menus. I ordered the Chile Relleno: Battered poblano chile stuffed with Jack cheese and red chile pork sitting atop black bean puree and serrano salsa. Topped with slaw and queso cotija. It was very tasty, but lacked cheese. I did not enjoy melty jack cheese oozing out of the pepper and that's the whole reason I ordered this dish. Tower Cafe in Sacramento makes it right. Their Chile oozes with melty jack cheese. The black bean purée must have melded into the Salas as I didn't see or taste it. It was topped with slaw that I enjoyed. It gave the dish a little crunchy. The red chili pork was very tender and I didn't notice any fat. I would not order this again My husband had the Salmon Machamantel Atlantic salmon, mole manchamantel, grilled broccolini, jicama slaw. I found the salmon to be very pleasant. It didn't taste fishy at all and I'm very sensitive to fish. The Mole sauce was non descriptive. The broccolini was cooked to perfection, not too cooked that it was limp and not undercooked so it's too firm. He would order it again. Cilantro Rice- All the meals came with the rice and it was very tasty. It was kind of odd that it was on a separate plate, but it made sense as there wan't room on our dinner plates. Presentation was lacking. We shared the Caesar Salad. It was very tasty, but awkward to eat as the pieces of lettuce were huge. They served us the entire leaf. Bathrooms- It was a small bathroom with only two stalls. If you need to wait it would be better to wait outside like I did. It was a bit awkward. The bathroom was well supplied and pretty clean. Flushing is an issue. The toilet doesn't have a lot of flushing power and it took my 3 flushes to get the seat covers to go down and not leave debris. Parking: We parked near Pet Food Express, which was close to the restaurant. It looked tight, but after we drove around we found lots of spots at the back of the lot. There is no close parking spots so if you have a hard time walking this can be an issue. Their downfall, the flies. There were so many flies swarming us that it was uncomfortable. I hope the other patrons were't dealing with the gigantic flies that were swarming our table and landing on our table and food. I searched other reviews and I'm not the only one who was swarmed by flies. Ambiance. It was ok, the music was loud and it was hard to hear each other as we chatted and caught up. I think there is more ambiance inside with the decor.

Complimentary corn tortilla chips, salsa, and refried bean dip with cheese. I loved the REFRIED BEAN DIP! I ordered the Steak a la Chicana. I didn't read or listen carefully enough that the skirt steak with sauteed onions and bell peppers are covered in Spanish sauce. The sauce is actually quite tasty with a little kick. I used it and the salsa to flavor the black beans. However, I really just wanted grilled steak. I should have ordered steak fajitas, a grilled steak burrito or quesadilla, or a carne asada plate. The Steak a la Chicana was a generous portion, which is definitely 2 meals for me. Cilantro rice wasn't anything special. The SWEET CORN TAMALITO is yummy comfort. Choice of beans: refried beans, black beans, or pinto beans. I suspect refried beans is the tastiest option. El Tapatio would be a great gathering place for friends and family. It's located on Sunrise Blvd in Citrus Heights near See's Candies and other restaurants.
