    Carne Asada Fries

I would rate it overall 8/10 The carne asada fries were delicious the guacamole wasn't my favorite. Horchata is okay a little watered down but not bad. The redbull drink was good and refreshing!

Drive thru order. They recently had a grand opening and I decided to try out some tacos. The tacos were generously served with plenty of meat and toppings. The rice and beans were better than I expected them to be. My son had their pizza birria which came in a good sized pizza box and he enjoyed it. It's an interesting concept and my first time hearing of it. The food is overall good and satisfying. A nice spot.

Came in because we were hungry and heard that this place had just opened up. It is a good little spot but has very limited parking and if the drive thru is lined up you better not be in a rush to get out. Inside it is bright and clean. We were welcomed right away. They have a little salsa/condiment area and chips to grab. They are open 24 hours and serve breakfast all day. The food was all good, flavorful, and good amount of meat for the price. I will say that even though the tacos were full of meat, it was a little on the dry side. They also have flavored drinks you can get as well. You go order and have a seat and go back up to get you food when the buzzer goes off. Not a bad place to go to.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at El Forastero. I ordered the carne asada fries, and frankly, the quality is just not there. You can see how unappealing it looks in image. To make matters worse, the dish was incredibly salty, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. For $17.55, as shown in image, this is not worth the price. You can easily go to other local restaurants that offer the same menu items with much better quality and much better pricing. I definitely won't be returning. Definitivamente no volveré.

    Not so super nachos

Went in here to see what all the hype was about. Well, it was just that..... hype. Social media "foodies" hyping up a mediocre (at best) restaurant as if it's some prestige temple of deliciousness. Wrong! Customer service was meh. And apparently couldn't understand my order. I ordered 3 chicken tacos and 3 carne asada tacos and all 6 with cheese. A super nachos and super burrito (was told there was no onions in it). Received 6 chicken tacos not 3 and 3, the cheese was thrown on there as an afterthought, and chicken was cold. Super nachos and super burrito? Nothing super about them. Onions in my burrito. Very. Little bit of chicken and had a weird taste. Nachos, meat was cold, cheese not melted and cold, carne asada looked and tasted like it had been sitting all day. Taco Bell and Jimboys smack harder than this place. Unfortunately I believed the buzz. But this was a one and done for me. Not to mention it was over $62 for this order. Lesson learned. Ambiance was alright. At least thy had a lady constantly cleaning the dining room.

I was very happy to see this place to open. As it's 24 hours and has California burritos and fries. I came here the third day it was open all hungover but wanted it so bad. I came to order my man the chili verde plate. But I'm on a keto diet so I was going to order the carne asada fries without the fries and I mentioned that to the worker but I felt stupid. She seemed alil confused so I said what would u recommend where I don't get the fries for a resaonable price... omg . She offered the street tacos and said she would put no tortillas . That it will come with cheese, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. I said yes right away .. I say I'll get 4 tacos to make it a good quantity. I trusted the process and went home to see the food... I was soo impressed with my meal!!!! Omg! 100% will go back. Especially knowing they know what I'm talking about. And my man loved the chili verde! Btw my man ordered the cucumber Agua Fresca and he said it was soo refreshing and amazing. The 24 hour signs outside the building was a relief to see haha especially working late. We can't wait to go again and make this our main place to go

I met the owner JUAN and he said they have been in business for 58 years! I certainly can see why! I ordered the 2 beef enchiladas with rice and beans. It also came with soup and warm fresh tortillas. Complimentary chips and salsa. Both the ground beef and shredded beef enchiladas were tasty! I tried a few bites of everything and it was delicious! The chicken soup was flavorful with corn. The red salsa was mild but the green salsa was awesome because it was spicy and tasty! YUM! They have a full bar and special margaritas. I had a nice chilled chardonnay with lunch. They also have a lady near the front making fresh tortillas. It was a really great experience with quick service and friendly employees ! Thank you Juan and Megan for superior service. I will be back! Btw...I was able to watch Argentina play while I was eating. BONUS!

I do wish they offered more agua fresca flavors. The only choices were horchata and jamaica. The jamaica was refreshing, but the flavor has an aftertaste that takes some getting used to. It just wasn't my personal favorite. The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. One thing to note is that no one greeted me when I first walked in, so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to seat myself or order first. Since it had been a long time since my last visit, I couldn't remember how it worked. Thankfully, a staff member noticed me right away, asked if I was dining in, how many were in my party, and got me seated. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and definitely plan to come back to try more of their menu.

We ordered the tripa and al pastor tacos, an asada burrito, botana a la cora, and a pineapple agua fresca. The shrimp in the botana were big and flavorful, although the dish was a little salty for our taste. The tacos were actually really good--full of flavor and well-seasoned. We were also surprised by how big the burrito was for the price; definitely a great value! The pineapple agua fresca was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. We also loved the large cups of water, a small detail that makes a difference! The customer service was very friendly and attentive, and we're definitely looking forward to coming back to try more items from the menu. Overall, this is a great Mexican restaurant! The only thing keeping it from a 5/5 for us would be a salsa bar--having different salsas to choose from would make the experience even better!
