Steve was really nice when he took my order & chatted it up while I waited for my food. Inside was pretty small w/ a couple of chairs if you wanted to dine in but it was pretty hot in there. There was a couple of decorations & on their wall was food awards including 1 from Yelp. The food overall was solid. The quesadilla was flavorful and pretty tasty, but I do wish it had more shrimp. I even paid for extra shrimp & there still wasn't enough. It was more cheesy than anything. The rice was good & the beans had shredded, melted cheese on top which I love. The flan, however, wasn't good for me. It didn't really hit & was kind of disappointing. It lacked flavor & its consistency was off. I really liked their salsa verde sauce (it had gr8 flavor & a nice kick). The only downside was that everything came separate & nothing came w/ the order(no chips or extras)so it felt a little basic compared to other spots. All in all, it's a solid takeout spot w/ good food, but portions & a few items could be improved.

Steve was friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. I ordered the chicken tacos, but I didn't realize they were made tinga style. If I had known, I definitely would have gone with the birria tacos instead...I still regret not ordering those! The restaurant was smaller than I expected, and it was a little too warm inside for my liking, so we ended up taking our food to the car to eat instead. the tamarindo drink was crisp and refreshing. For dessert, I tried the flan. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it had more of a gelatin like texture. I personally prefer a creamier, custard style flan, and this one reminded me more of a boxed mix. The fresh flavors, generous portions, and Steve's excellent customer service made it a place I'd be happy to return to...next time, I'm definitely trying the birria tacos.

They also have a few other counters with other food options to try if youre looking for something else. Great spot to stop by for lunch or dinner. How can any restaurant have no pride in their website's accuracy, or take no pride in packaging food the way their website promises it will be packaged. We ordered lunch to go yesterday - a chicken quesadilla and tacos de alambre. The website promised the quesadilla would cost $10.95 and consist of a 13" Flour Tortilla, Monterey jack, cheddar cheese, served with pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and julienne romaine lettuce with your choice of meat. Instead, we paid $12.95 for a quesadilla with zero sour cream, zero guacamole and zero lettuce. Mega disappointing to say the least. Tacos de Alambre weren't listed on their website, so I at least know I wasn't overcharged at $11.95 for them They were steak and chorizo tacos with onions, peppers, and cheese on white corn tortillas. I liked them, despite the small amount of protein portioned out. Service was so-so, not a lot of smiles or greetings or warmth or engagement.

Puerto Vallarta for Cinco de Mayo was a WHOLE experience…read more This place was PACKED from start to finish, but honestly? The vibe made the wait worth it. There were lines everywhere, the parking lot was full, and the restaurant was extremely busy but the energy was so good it barely even felt like we waited long. They had two DJs, one inside and one outside on the deck area where there was also an outdoor bar. The music was nonstop and the DJ played a mix of everything, so people were dancing the entire night. While waiting for our table, we grabbed drinks outside and ended up dancing inside too We waited about 30 minutes to be seated (plus another 10 because we missed our first call while vibing on the deck ), but once we sat down everything moved smoothly. Drinks were STRONG and definitely worth the price I had a couple shots plus both the original and strawberry margaritas, and both were really good. The food? 10/10. We got tacos, quesadillas, sizzling fajitas, and fresh guacamole made tableside right in front of us. Everything came out hot, flavorful, and delicious. The fajitas coming out sizzling definitely turned heads I also appreciated how organized everything still felt despite the crowd. There was security at the front entrance, inside, and near the side exits, which helped things feel safe and controlled during such a busy event. This was the perfect spot to celebrate with friends. Great music, strong drinks, delicious food, and an atmosphere that felt like a real party from beginning to end. Would absolutely come back for another holiday, weekend or summer night on the deck

Yummy food and good service, Macario was phenomenal, always happy and attentive. The restaurant was crowded, the only thing that was uncomfortable was the noise, music to loud so you can barely hear your own conversation. But everything else was just right. Btw thank you for the B52 shots, those were the cherry on top kind of evening.

I opted to order a couple tacos to-go and try their chicken and mole tamale on special. Wow!! The proteins were cooked perfectly with flavor - so all the taco needed was cilantro and onion - like they are supposed to be done. The tamale was probably the best I have ever had. Using a black mole inside the tamale the chicken was moist and tender. My favorite value was the salsa bar - at no additional cost you can choose from about 6 different salsas, from a variety of spicy levels and flavors. Also included is Jalepano, radishes and some other small things. A great idea that adds true value to the customer. Overall this is a taqueria that I will drive to!!! When I am in the mood for tacos I am here. I should also mention they do have a full Mexican menu with entrees and such. So many items to try to keep you coming back.

Sparse decoration and the kitchen takes up a majority of the tiny space. There are tables, but it's very much a To-go place. We ordered some tamales, some tacos and some chips. Went to the salsa bar and got a bunch of sauces to try. Drove to a parking lot to take pics and dig in. The tacos were a little overcooked and under seasoned. They tasted good and were dressed simply. They all needed salsa to really shine. The chorizo was the best bite. Just enough spice and seasoning to stand well on its own. The weakest being the ground beef, which was dry and not seasoned beef. The tamale was good, cooked in a banana leaf, good masa and the mole filling was hot and sweet which chicken used as the protein. A well balanced bite. The chips and salsa were basic but plentiful. Price was reasonable given the quality. It's not a date night Mexican place. It's a place for regular folk to get decent Mexican fare at decent prices, good portions, and basic but executed well tacos. It's great for those who are around the area, but not a space I would try to hunt down
